"A disgrace to the show"

One of my favorite anime shows is Inuyasha. I've always watched and always will. They've made several good Inuyasha games for various systems. One of my favorite genres of gaming is RPG and now they combined that with one of my favorite shows. I really wish they hadn't.

Gameplay: 2/10

A horrible turn based RPG. Each time you select a command for one of your characters, it takes you character to another screen, loads for another few seconds, starts the attack, which takes a few second. Then, the attack hits him, he flashes for a few seconds and you are taken back to your original screen, which takes another few seconds. So, basically each turn takes about 30 seconds. This prolonged process isn't the least bit interesting either. They didn't add anything innovative to the battle system. It's basically a cheap version of a Final Fantasy. The only thing they did right are the attack names, but how could you get those wrong?

Music: 3/10

Every sound created by anyone is aggravating. You would of thought they did something right. Annoying screams and screeched go along with each command. The entire sound track is boring and really just takes away from the experience.

Graphics: 5/10

The graphics are OK. There basic anime into game graphics. Nothing special. All of the attack animations are boring. Nothing is as cool as you would want it to be from the show.

Replayabiltiy: 3/10

The side quests that barely exist in the game are the most innane tedious quests to exist in any game.The only possible way I would go back and complete side quests is if I was getting paid. And even then I would be reluctant.

Overall: 3/10

No matter how big a fan you are of the show, don't play this. Of course, if you really love the show, you might as well rent to see that I'm right. The developers of this game are just hoping a fan of the show will buy this game on an impulse or for thier collection. I really hope their next attempt at an Inuyasha game has more effort put into it.
