"Chocked Full Of Chocobo!"

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales from my perspective is one of THE MOST enjoyable Nintendo DS games anyone will ever come across and will remain so for some time. The pure state of euphoria given off from a cornicopia of mini games ranging from slightly easy to painstakingly hard is sure to keep you gaming for hours on end, not including the wi-fi capabilities which shows promise as well!

The basic goal of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales is to, you guessed it, save the world from a supernatural being of darkness. On the island-ranch of the hero of the story, who just happens to be a chocobo, lives a white mage named Shirma, a black mage named Croma, and many chocobo whom all enjoy the peaceful life on the farm. Croma, whom is a collector of books, tomes, etc., returns to the farm with a mysterious tome he aquired from the far west. Upon having you help opening it, through the use of a minigame of course, the book swollows every chocobo on the farm! And to make a long story short, you, being the only chocobo left on the farm, are tasked with the retrieval of all your chocobo friends. It doesn't take long, as most final fantasies do, to realize your task will go from a simple task to a cataclysmic trial that will decide the fate of the world, and such, you find out that you are the only one who can stop the evil tome known as Bebuzzu through the use of other magical books!

I found this game to have only a select few problems with it through my 23 hours of play (and growing). One of which is some minigames such as 'Tome Raider' or 'Malboro Masher' actually require practice, and it is sure to not only challenge the most hardcore mini-gamers, but actually increase your puzzle solving skills and reaction time once you're through. But not to worry, despite the difficulty of some of these minigames, it is not required to beat them, yet you will enjoy it so much, you will practically force yourself to go for the gold! The other problem with this game is much more worthy of attention, it would seem too short despite how long it really is! Hopefully Square-Enix will bring this fact to their attention and make another truly great game such as this!
