Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City

"A very good DS game for racing games-fans."

While some people may argue with this , I simply believe that this is the best Need for Speed game for DS.It is very nice all-around and has only very few weak points.

Graphics:9/10

The graphics are very good for a hand-held system like the DS.The cars physics are totally good . The city is very nicely represented, and the streets are awesome. The traffic cars are also very nice.However, there is simply one weak point for the graphics system:When you crash a car, your one is just thrown onto the air and spinning and little around. I personally believe this could have been better, and there could be more types of crashes.

Audio:8/10

The songs that are played during the gameplay are quite good, although there is no variety at all.The music generally is nice, but not the best.

Gameplay:10/10

This is the strongest point of the game, which matters for a racing one.The control of the system is simple and balanced.When you turn, you can customize if it is a asteep or sharp turn. By pressing the up arrow, your car will make a deep turn.By pressing the down arrow, your car will make a sharp turn.

The only "mediocrity" in the gameplay is that the buttons are too close to each other, and this could result in a confusion. However, this is not likely going to happen if you are a skilled gamer.

Multiplayer Mode:9/10
Singe card play:5/10
Multi-card play:10/10

Single card:This is the worst point of the game, indeed. Your friends MUST use this if they don't have a copy for their DS . They must use the function DS Download-play to enable it. And the worst, your choices are very limited.The good-side of this mode is that your friends don't have to buy their own copy to at least play with you.Overally, really bad.

Multi-card:Ah yes, that's my favourite one! If you and your friends have their own copy of NFS Carbon(for DS of course), you can use it for a totally awesome multi-gameplay experience.MUCH BETTER than the single-card play, because you have a BIG variety of choices.Simply try to play this mode, and trust me, you will have great fun.

Re-play of the game:7/10

When you end the game, you can play it again and choose different car customizes, and so on. A good point.

Overall:9/10

Need for Speed Carbon:Own The City. is one of the best racing games I have ever played.I could give it 10/10 if it weren't for that bad single-card multiplayer.But the other points of the game will keep you entertained.Buy it if you want a n excellentDS game for your system,and if you are a fun of racing games and the Need for Speed series.
