Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007

"Well Done Konami"
Yu-gi-oh! World Championship 2007. First off, I recommend it to any yugioh player who owns a DS. Not only do you get the 3 promo cards (which aren't bad), but it opens up some good practice. If you have no one to duel, play the game. If you want to test a deck idea out, play the game. If you just want to duel, play the game.
Graphics: I'm only going to cover the graphics for the monster animations (because everything else is fine). Most of them are fine, but not great. I think Konami could have done a little better with the animations, but thats not why we play the game.
Controls: Basic. You can either use the buttons or the stylus to control your cards. Really nothing to talk about.
Unlockables: This is pretty good. You have to unlock cards, outfits, duel disks, more duelists, more duel puzzles and more theme and limited duels. In order to get these, you basically have to duel. After every duel you get Duel Points, which can be used in the Card Shop for packs (which obviously give you your cards). After you do a certain number of Duel Puzzles, Theme Duels or Limited Duels, you start unlocking more outfits and duel disks, which are used to customize your character. You also get some outfits and disks from collecting alot of cards. The duelists you unlock get stronger and stronger. You unlock duelists 2-4 by just beating the previous level of duelists 5 times each. 5 and 6 have to be unlocked by beating duel puzzles, theme duels and limited duels.
Special Features: First off, it's a little more updated than the previous yugioh game Spirit Caller. It features cards that go up to Strike of Neos, and has some japanese cards that haven't been released in America yet (so far). It also has Wi-Fi dueling, which is my favorite thing about this game. You can go on Wi-Fi, download new banlists, cards, duel ghosts and obviously, duel other human players from around the world. You can chat to them through the microphone in a Chat Room (though they have to be on your friend list). Other than that, you just duel to see who is the better duelist. Do know that there are alot of cheaters online, such as people who use Action Replay to win. There are also disconnectors or DCs. They turn off their wireless internet right before you are about to win a duel, so they don't lose Rating Points. The more duels you win online, the more rating points you achieve. If you achieve enough, you could possibly be on the leaderboards. Wi-Fi is definitely a good reason to get the game.
Storyline: There is none. If you want story, get Spirit Caller.
Difficulty: Not hard. The AI's make some stupid moves, and are usually easy to beat (once you have the better cards). Even though I say they stink, they are better than the AI from previous games. They can make some good moves (sometimes). Wi-Fi is where it's at.
Replayability: EXCELLENT!!! If you love to duel, you'll never get tired of playing. You can make multiple decks and duel with them, or just duel online. It's a dream for the players (such as myself) who don't have anyone to duel while we are at home.
Downsides: The only downside that I think really effected the game is that some cards are not in it. Cards such as Skilled White Magician, Paladin of White Dragon, White Dragon Ritual, Legendary Jujistu Master and Neo Bug. These might effect your dueling, but I guess you can get around them. Other than that, there isn't any that I can think of.
Overall, this game is good. If you really want all the cards, outfits and duel disks fast, you might want to use an AR (Action Replay) for that, but only that. Do not see this as using the AR to win. Play fairly, play with your skill, the Wi-Fi can help up your dueling skills alot. I give this game an 8/10.
