"Really Fun"

Gameplay 8/10
The game play throught this game such as the strumming, the songs, the different modes. The strumming is sort of fun, but it seems akward only have this one abr to sturm agaisnt instead of the actual strings, like on a regular guitar. The songs are pretty fun sometimes, but alot ofn them of kind of long so it can become boring about halfway through, but if you stick in it'll be cool. Also when you play songs, it doesnt give you an accuracy rating or tyime or nothing, thats annoying once you finisha dn really long song and you feel you've done really great. The different modes are Tutorial, Warm Up, Songs, Free Play. The tutorial obviously teaches you how to play, warm up gets you ready to play songs. Songs are the songs you play, obvisously. And free play is when you can play anything you want, any chords, however you want to play it.

Songs 7/10
The songs in this game are OK. I mean they have some old classics, some new stuff. But to me none of the songs actually sound like the real songs, maybe its jsut me, but they kind of dont. I wouldnt buy this game for the songs, but for the free play. There are a somewhat medium amount of songs and a variety of different categories. Sometimes as I said the songs can get frustrasting and long, but hang in there.

Actual Guitar 8/10
Although its only acoustic guitar, some of the effects can change it ever so slightly to make it sound more like electric guitar. The guitar can really annoying because you can get tired of acoustic sounds. But the effects arent that great, they are ok but the guitar is still very fun to play. The whole sturmming up and down thing is pretty cool. The chords are just like they would be on a regular guitar and everything. You can chagne the chords you can pick when your actaully playing guitar so your not always limited to the ones you can use throught he direction pad.

Playing Guitar 9/10
Actual during when you play guitar. You play the strings by sliding your stylus pen up and down through the bar. You choose the chords with the directional pad, you hold it donw then you sturm by using the stylus. If you hold L then another set of chords comes up and you once again hold the directional pad and strum. Its pretty simple once you get used to it. WHen you play songs you can get something called the positon marker and it tells you hwere to put the directional pad, so thats very useful.

Overall 8/10
This game is very fun, if your a musician or you just love the guitar this is perfect for you. You can play any song you want if you get the chords. You can play songs fromt he actual DS. It can keep you entertained for literally hours on end. If your looking for a fun music game, this is your thing. This is kind of like the Guitar Hero for the DS. I definattley recommend this to anyone. IT is only 30 bucks to, its the perfect price, pick it up and give it a try.
