Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis

"Mini Marios land on the DS!"
Minis Marios and on the DS!
I thought the first one was good, but when I played this being my first game on DS it amazed my eyes.
Story: 7/10
Super Mini Mario worlds grand opening is great, but that's not what happened actually. Donkey Kong kidnapped Princess Pauline after getting jealous about her picking up the Mini Mario. Mario and the Mini Marios must go through 8 worlds to save Princess Pauline from Donkey Kong. You get though the story fast. Maybe less than a day if you rush. The boss levels aren't that hard either, but pretty fun boss battles.
Graphics: 9/10
The graphics in this game are great 2-d graphics. Almost like New Super Mario Bros. graphics. Also the background makes the levels look more unique. The few cut scenes have excellent 3-d graphics that will make you want to watch them.
Sound: 9/10
The sound is good because the music fit each world making you have more entertainment while you play the levels. Which also nice is that there are various noise for things like for when you make a Mini jump, a Mini breaks, and when you tap the blocks to make the appear and disappear.
Controls: 10/10
The controls are awesome. It's a great game to use if you want practice on using the touch screen. By using the A,B,X, and Y buttons or the control pad to move the screen while keeping the Mini Marios going could be pretty challenging. The shy guy mini games are rather fun once you get used to the controls. Also the boss battle controls take nice in fact fun!
Difficulty: 9/10
You may think this is a game with a very low difficulty, but your wrong. This game is actually hard. Trying to get all the gold medals is not an easy thing because you have to get all the Minis Marios to the end without stopping them. Trust me it took me time to get all gold medals. The World 8 boss is the hardest part in the game because you have to beat Donkey Kong fast with losing no more than 2 minis. Now that is a challenge. It will take you a long time to get a gold medal in that level.
Replay Value: 10/10
The replay value has a perfect score because of the level editor mainly. First I want to start with the my reason of the gold medals. You'll have fun while you struggle getting those medals. My second reason is my main reason because of the level editor. You'll never see a game with a great level editor as this one. You'll never stop having fun with the level editor. Plus if you have wi-fi you'll even have more fun with the level editor.
Level Editor: 10/10
Basically the best 2-d level editor. As simple as that. You can have up to 8 levels saved on your DS. Get through the story mode and complete the shy guy mini games to unlock new kits. The level editor may look simple, but it's not. You can make some really cool levels with the level editor especially if you know the glitches.
Wifi Feature: 10/10
This is actually one of the best Wifi games made. All you need to to do is exchange friend codes with others, have them sync their levels, and sync your levels. You can have up to 24 levels downloaded at a time so keep your favorites and keep deleting old levels and downloading new ones. Your fun will never end with this wifi feature.
Rent or Buy?
Buy for sure because of the level editor and wifi feature. That will make you mad if you rented it and ended up in regret for renting it instead of buying it.
Overall: 9/10
The best Mario game on the DS!
