Pogo Island

"Pogo Island review"
Pogo Island consists of 2 main modes of play. The quick play or the island adventure. In the quick play you can pick one of 5 games that pogo.com offers. The games are Poppit, Tri-Peaks solitaire, Word Whomp, Squlchies and Phlinx. In this mode you play the game of you choice and can earn tokens that can be transfered to your pogo.com account.
In the island adventure mode, you play the same 5 games but at the same time are trying to rescue your pogo friends. You also play some mini games to repair you ship.
In the DS game, just like on-line you can earn jackpot spins. Tokens you earn can be added to your on-line account. To do this you must have a WI-FI connection (or have access to one).
So now that you have the jest of what the game is about, time for my review.
All and all it is an okay game. It dose get boring and can become repetitive fast. To enjoy this game you have to like puzzle type games. It is a good game for young children because there is no violence in it at all.
I bought it because I though it would be fun, but I got bored with it fast. I have won a lot of tokens, but because I do not have any access to WI-FI, I have not been able to transfer them. Therefore, am disappointed. At first I was happy with it, but when I finished the Island Adventure node, and con not transfer my tokens I was done with it. Because at this point there isn't much more to do with it.
Would I recommend this game to people? Yes, but I would tell them that it is better if you have a pogo.com account and have some kind of access to WI-FI so you are able to transfer your tokens. Otherwise I would say that it isn't worth the money. It is also better if you like puzzles and not action because this game is full of different types of puzzles.
The sound effects are okay nothing special and the graphics are okay, once again nothing too fancy. The game play is a good quality, when I played it I found there to be no glitches.
So for all of you that are interested in puzzles type games, I say happy gaming to you. And enjoy you Pogo Island adventures
