"This series is definitely not in Ruins"

I have played the Advance Wars series since the first one for the GBA came out. I fell in love with that game like many people have and have bought every Advance Wars game that has come out. This rivals Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy as my favorite series of all time. I had to call about ten different Gamestops just to find this game. It was all worth it. The game is incredible. It is in my opinion the best DS game out so far. It requires more effort than any of the other games and has wifi so you will be able to go against many different opponents. Anyone who loves turn based games is going to love this game.

The graphics are better than the previous Advance Wars. It still isn't the best possible for a DS game but it is pretty close. The music for the game is decent but slightly lacking but who buys a game for the sound. Overall the graphics and sound are pretty good and deserve about an nine,

The storyline is way better than the other humor filled and childish stories of the previous games. It goes for a little darker story. I love the plot and think this is the right move for this series. I think if they continue down this line then they will prosper. At first I was sad that the old COs were gone but I love the new characters almost as much as the old ones. Overall the storyline for the game gets a ten.

The gameplay has changed a little but for the better. No longer will you have the advantage just to have a CO power take that away. The CO powers are a lot weaker and do no influence the game as much. You will have to have intelligence and quick wit to win the battles. This makes the Campaign slightly harder.There is also wifi which is probably the best part. Now you can pit your army against a friends. You will have a more intelligent opponent than the computer. You will have to adjust your game plan to counter against stradegies you have not seen before. The gameplay for this game deserves a ten.

This game is incredible. It is a must buy for any DS owners. Hope to see anyone who buys this on wifi.
