Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day

Review by GodofWii

"DO NOT MISS THIS GAME!!!!! Your eyes won't miss much more if you play it."

Do not listen to the Haters, the Shunners, the Liars, the Lame-o's, or Anyone else who gave this game a bad rating, criticism, hatred or poor feedback. Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day is... perfectly, absolutely flawless, in fact not only is it flawless, but it also fine-tunes small flaws in the user's primary tools for sight. It is worth every penny of the MSRP price of $19.99.

There is something very special and invigorating about waking up every day and playing this game for 45 minutes, at max. per day. Some of the benefits of playing this game at the rise of the sun (or whenever you wake up) are as follows. It will improve your Dynamic Visual Acuity, Peripheral Vision, Eye Movement, Hand-Eye coordination, and your Momentary Vision, (Ok, I admit, this is what the game SAYS it will help with, but I had to point them out to you because it really does help your eyes in these ways. Another thing that it can do for you is help your newly awakened, blurry, crusty, wet and sleepy eyes get ready for the long day (or even the short, fun weekend or vacation day) that is ahead of you. Along with improving your vision in many ways that can help you with sports, games, office work, schoolwork, or even a night out on the town, it is also incredibly fun and teaches you interesting facts and trivia about the eye and how to keep it in good shape physically.

I will admit that it doesn't have any side-games such as Sudoku or Dr. Mario touch, to distract you from the true purpose but this is in no way a bad thing, because the game already has exercises that are touch-oriented versions of Baseball batting, Boxing, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Football to put your skills to the test after you have trained your eyes with the numerous core training workout (which I will not list here due to a high amount).

If you choose to play this game daily, which is a must to truly become a vision guru (But three days a week will also be enough according to the game), then your schedule in it will go something like This: receive a warm greeting from the games mascot, and a quick eye tip, or piece of trivia, then check your eye age, (which is quite accurate may I add), after your eye age is checked you will be assigned one of the many different daily workout routines such as "Put it to the test" sports workout, the core workout, the "hone your skills" strength workout, the weaknesses workout and a few others. This chosen workout will be based upon what activities you excelled in on the eye age check and which of the five elements of vision dropped and how they dropped. then you will go through the four workouts it gives you and at the end do some eye relaxation exercises. The first few times you do the eye relaxation exercises your eyes may water or it may feel straining, but this is good for when you continue to play daily, these feelings will eventually go away and it will feel natural and be a good relaxation and strength exercise. After these you can continue to practice the remaining games exercises that you haven't' done yet that day, or you can end there like it expects you too (and pick it up and finish later), but it feels more accomplishing to finish then and there.

Now I will get to some more review material. all but one or two games does a good job of not being too strenuous or irritating but most of the games take a little time to get used to, and through time you will become a natural at them like the game intends, therefore, you can also play it in hard version, where the scoring will be a little less harsh when you first start it, it is best to get your top 3 scores at 100 on the normal version of each game before doing the hard version daily. Another thing that gives the game worth is the fact that you constantly earn new game modes and extras for the first month or so of daily training.

Overall this game will give you a very fulfilling experience, but I can not explain how great it feels to have become a veteran at playing it and experience it every single day. It is very easy to become obsessed with due to its addictiveness and fun factor and it has endless replay value, it has great graphics for a DS game, quick, snappy, modern and great sound effects and slow, soft but sharp music, plus perfect touch controls and excellent game play, this game holds one experience that should not be missed.
