"Advance Wars has Advanced!"

Hello! I'm Razentsu and I'm going to review Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. This is my first review so don't expect too much of it.

I'll never forget the day I got this game. It was a bright and sunny day and I was in school on January 22, 2008. It was lunch time. So my friends and I decided to go to the mall... I wasn't going to the mall to eat lunch. I was going there to pick up a fresh, new copy of an amazing game titled Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

So, after school I walked home as fast as I could so I could go and get my DS... I picked my DS up and popped in my new copy of Advance Wars.

Now here is my review.

Graphics 9/10:
The new serious look is great! The characters look great, the Apocalypse styled maps actually looked like they have been destroyed and the manga styled battle sequences look great. Though, the unit sprites on the map could've been more detailed. Anyway, the game looks great.

Story 8/10:
Not as bad as Gamespot says it is. There are a few twists and a few major ones. I won't tell you too much about the story or I'll just wreck the experience for you.

Music 9/10:
I LOVE the music in this game. If you like rock or metal, you WILL like the music in this game. If you aren't, then too bad for you. You probably wouldn't like it.

Gameplay 11/10:
The gameplay in this game is GREAT. THIS is why I bought Advance Wars: Days of Ruin. Without it, this game would just be a music type thing with a decent plot and good graphics. Anyway, lets move on. The game plays great. The controls are easy to learn, there is a lot of strategy and thinking involved, and the experience can easily suck you in. If I were to tell you how awesome this game is in a similie, I would say that this game is: As mother****ing good as Advance Wars: Dual Strike. But better IMO.

Replay Value 10/10:
Awesome Gameplay + Wi-fi Battles + Map Creation + Unlocking all the medals= A game that can last over 9000 hours. (Okay, not really, but you get what I mean.) This game can last a VERY long time. 'Nuff said.

Overall, it's a great game. Go get it NAO! Especially if you're a fan of TBS or Advance Wars.
