Introduction
Insecticide is a First Person Shooting game but with Insects. The game was advertised on Gamefaqs and Gamespot as well so I THINK that many people will pre-order this like what my friend did and I bought this to him. Want to know more about Insecticide? Keep Reading.

Game Play

Nothing Special about controls and game play. Very Simple mechanics but it made it down.
Gamecock just advertised the in game movies for it to look good but still it is very bad and cannot do something good or extreme. We all know that First Person Shooting games or FPS as we call it are very simple and in plain fun but this game is less than simple.

Controls are very hard to master because it is very complicated. They also adopted the view mode from Super Mario 64 DS but it just does not work here well. Pressing R button and touching the screen at the same time to change weapons, very hard to do especially if you are right handed.

Story

Of course their only chance to help give this game a good name is to create a good story. They quite spice things up here because the story is good and the story outline is well created. Of course to make things better they added movies not that only but the movie also have as well as a good 3d graphics and original voicing. Bad thing for a lazy man like me, you need to unlock these movies.

Graphics

Graphics are in full 3d and well designed Insects are showing off their great 3D guns. There no major lags even though intense insect action is on going. Gamecock really specialized this game with a flawless graphics and no major glitches.

The thing I hate about this game is that it gives me a very dark feeling and aura. The color combination is very bad that puts intense emphasis on both red black colors. They are Insects right and they live in garbage cans, they are police officers but it does not mean they need to do it always on the dark. 3D graphics gets pulled by very bad color atmosphere and it always feel that someone will shoot you because of the very dark atmosphere.

Sound

The background music is quite ok and gives you a very good detective feeling. Sound effects are nothing but it feels like they just made it because they thought that sound effects cannot pull their game down but they are wrong. Bad sound effects made this game worse.

Replay Value

There are nothing much to collect in this game but merely power ups. There is no good thing that will happen when you replay a stage but just collecting Additional Life and other goods.

Overall

Avoid this game but if you are an Insect loving person you might as well buy it. If you want to give it a try nothing will lose except for your money so you might just rent this to try it out.
