Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
Review by youngbladeboy
"Best DS Game Ever"
This game is flawless. It's the perfect game, just like its prequel Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. My sister just enjoys watching the videos, let alone the entire game itself.
Upside:
Storyline: 10/10
Perfect sense, clear, really exciting, everything is pieced together from start to finish. No part of it had any sign of a mistake.
Gameplay: 10/10
The controls are very easy to get used to, which is good considering the game is very puzzling and challenging. The game consists of our different modes: easy, medium, hard, and very hard. Each mode had same amount of bad guys and same storyline, but the enemies get tougher. They go from doing 30 damage to 400 damage! Crazy but a lot of fun.
Bosses: 10/10
Each individual boss has its own secrets, and its own way to defeat it. One boss even becomes an enemy later. No boss goes down without a challenge, either. And, unlike some video games I have played, the first boss is actually the EASIEST and the last boss is actually the HARDEST. This is good because not many video games have the easiest bosses first.
Graphics: 8/10
Nothing bad, but some DS games are better. But still, nothing short of amazing. Character design is good.
Characters: 9/10
This section covers the wide basis of all the characters in the game, from Telika to Chelinka. Each character described here plays a significant role in the game. The characters all make the story the way it is, and each outline of the people is perfect.
Main Characters: 10/10
The two main characters, Yuri and Chelinka, are kids raised by their father. you start out with a hatchet, and get more weapons later on. Yuri and Chelinka both have special abilities, but they can only benefit from them if they are together. A perfect set-up, if you ask me.
Overall:
In the game, you can control 1 of 4 people and travel across the lands, doing many missions your assigned to do. The graphics are good, but nothing perfect, and the controls are easy to get used to. But what really won me over was the tantalizing storyline and brilliant characters and excellent gameplay. Every step of the way keeps you on your toes, and the challenge just gets harder. And even when you beat it once, your not done. You must also go through multiple games at a harder level.
This game deserves a 10/10 through and through, and if you just bought a new DS, this should be the first game you buy.
