Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2
Review by InsanityZero
"Vitals are going up!"
Trauma Center was a big hit because it uses well with the stylus. It was also a Wii brand game but lets ignore that and review Trauma Center!
Storyline 10/10
I am a big fan of Trauma Center storyline because I loved it. If you haven't played the first one, hear me out. Play the first TC before you start reading this because of spoiler (sorry!). Now Guilt was destroyed by Derek Stiles. After a couple of years, Guilt was reborn and its your job to stop it once again.
Graphics 9/10
I am very impress that Atlus improve the graphics by ten-folds. It uses like Wii-like graphics but in a different interface. All the characters were given a new look which is awesome. The only thing that held me back that most of the graphics from the first TC came back like the syringe etc. But never less its has good graphics.
Sounds: 10/10
Music... fantastic. Words cannot be describe to this game for its music. They still have the talk, silent, talk treatment. End-game music is the one that shine this 10 to its highest peak. You would know why once you play the game :).
Controls: 9/10
Since they used the same interface, there is no question about the controls. Using 2 stylus would make things easier. So there isn't much to say about the control because its a point-and-point game. Nothing special. Other than drawing the HT is MUCH MUCH easier comparing from both Wii Second Opinion and also DS TC:UTK. Draw a funky star, they will accept it anyhow.
Gameplay 9/10
Well the gameplay can't be old because you can move on to harder difficulties. And even impress YouTube with a solid XS rank. You can only get XS in hard but the rest, you can most get an S. Somehow I find it repetitive that if you play it too long, you grow tired of the game. But I am sure that won't happen right?
Rent or Buy: I say... buy!
Buying this game is a nice collection to your games because its one of the only surgeon games (other than LifeSign) that has the good score. Also its handheld, so when your bored, just bust out TC:UTK2 in the public and waste about 3-4 minutes per operation. I rent this game before, I didn't pretty much go halfway because its very challenge (TC:NB reference). So if you are a hardcore fan of Atlus (like me!), this is the worth of the buy.
Reviewer Score: 9/10
Additional Notes: TC:UTK2 is a great game. Share it with your friends to get them hook too! :)
