INTRO
Another movie game gone bad. The trend still remains the same, or very close to it. It seems like a good 90 percent of movies that try to make it in the video game industry seem to lay an egg. Pirates of the Caribbean was not a bad movie, so since they made big bucks of it, the tried the cards else where too. Of course you know fans are going to run out and buy it, and die-hard fans are going to love it no matter what. Sorry guys I thought it was silly an corny, and glad someone lend to me instead of wasting hard earned money on it.

GAME PLAY
If you like to button mash, then this is right up your ally! This is your basic game play from start to finish. You meet different types of enemies through out the game, but with the same old concept. Kill them all so you can advance. I mean they come from you from all angles. As you progress they get more and more harder, and more come after you. You can not escape you are stuck there fighting till the game tells you that's enough and opens a door for you to move on. Just play pointless. You do have a lot of different fighting combos to unlock and use, but that is pointless too, cause you too busy button mashing to try and do any killer combos. The story is just like the movie, so if you saw that, you know what to expect. The mini games are just plain silly, and childish, they shouldn't even of bothered. This is one game if your not a die-hard fan, you will get bored of it after awhile and not even finish it, like I did.

APPEARANCE
Even in this section is not too good either. I mean this is the DS, and not the Stone Age. The graphics are very primitive to me at best I'm going to say average. Even the backgrounds of the different levels look lame to me. Sorry developers but you have done a very bad job. Even worse is the camera angle it stinks! Have the time you trying to rotate your DS to see what is going on. But don't worry they rotate it for you and control it for you, which is awful.

OVERALL
I do not know what else to say about this game. Don't have much love for it so I'm not going to kill it even more. It is very hard for me to give a game a ranking over five if I didn't care enough to finish it. So a four to me is very generous, and the only reason it gets that is cause of the Franchise name.
