The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer

Review by Koolaid1995

"Awful."

I borrowed this game from a friend who wasted 50 bucks on it. After I finished it, I was glad I didn't buy it. After an hour and a half, of playing this, I already finished it..
This game starts off where the movie "The Incredibles" You start at the car park where the movie finished, where Max won his trophy. Suddenly, a huge machine thing drills a hole in the parking lot. This is the antagonist of the story, The Underminer. Scary name, huh? Anyways, he drills a big hole in the parking lot and everyone evacuates except for Mr. Incredible and Frozone.

Gameplay -

Hard to pick up at first, but then after a few levels (half the game) you get the hang of it. You get to play as Mr. Incredible and Frozone. Mr Incredible is stronger and slower, while Frozone is faster and weaker. Throughout the game, you go around attacking robots. There's about 5 different robots you can fight, but most of them are basically the same. They walk up to you and try to punch you. Very exciting on your part.
1/10

Graphics -
While most of the other Nintendo DS games are 3-D, this game is not. This game is just a 2-D mess. I have seen better graphics on a Nintendo 64.
1/10

Sound-
What sound? The only sound in this game is a very boring background music and an occasional grunt from your character when you take damage. The reason this gets a 1 out of 10 and not a 0 out of 10 is because there is still some kind of sound in this game.
1/10

Challenge-
This game has no challenge. On the hardest difficulty, you can still pass this game in 1-2 hours since there are only 9 levels. Every enemy can be defeated by freezing them with Frozone's freeze move and then punching them to death with his weak punches.
0/10

Replay Value -
After you beat this game once, there isn't much to do afterward. You can beat the game again and try to get as much points as you can, but that would be a new form of torture that Satan would find harsh.
0/10

Overall, this game gets a 1/10. If it could be lower than that, it would be. This could of been a much better game if it was worked on some more. Don't buy this game. Don't even borrow it from an unlucky friend that accidentally bought this game. Don't even buy it if you're a collector, unless you can find one for 5 dollars.
