Deal or No Deal
Review by Ali_X_Rexus
"As if Deal was an option"
So you watch a tv show about people playing for tangible things, like a box would determine whether they leave with a million dollars or a nail clip; the experience can be a lovely thing to enjoy, and you might find yourself hooked to these people and as to whether they get it or not.
Now a Game...
That's a whole different story. David Howwie is here in all his semi-glory--a botched version of howwie repeating the same lines over and over again, talking to the bank, and offering you the right of retort: DEAL or NO DEAL. NO DEAL howwie, because your game can only be enjoyed by hobos scrapping the bottom of bins for collectable garbage, something new.
You see, in real life, there's something materialistic on the line, you can either leave with 1 million or leave with nothing for REAL. In this game, it's no question you'll keep pressing forward, rejecting all bank offers, etc.
but what if you say deal to the bank!!
That's when things get pretty, and you end the game and leave with the imaginary sum you agreed upon with the bank. This is all the game has to offer. Graphics aren't worthy of mentioning, audio is crap at best, and the whole game leaves you sour and mad at how someone got the audacity to release such a thing and call it a game.
The game involves you selecting one of the sum of boxes and seeing what's behind each box. Your luck needs to land on the lower numbers so that the bank gives you a higher offer for you to leave. You also get a choice of switching the boxes, which no one really cares about unless you find some sort of stress/enjoyment of playing for winning nothing real.
Pass at all costs; even better yet, try to attack the game and destroy it to try and minimize the shovelware damage being laid upon the DS. JUST DON'T.
Pros
+The only way you'll ever be on Deal or No Deal
Cons
-Deal or No Deal and that's pretty much all there is to it
