Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time

"The best pokemon game ever."

This game is the sequel to the first Mystery Dungeon series, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team, often referred to as PMD1. The point of these games are to explore dungeons that change every time you go in hence the name Mystery Dungeon. These dungeons are filled with pokemons that attack you. You can rescue other pokemons, recruit other pokemons, or just go in for adventure! I decided to buy this game for my birthday because...the cover just looks appealing.

Gameplay: 10/10
Of all games I've played, this one is the most addicting game ever. They have added more starters so the game gets more exciting. Some parts of this story are hard to play and some are easy, like all other games. The controls are easy to remember and very well set up!

Story: 10/10
Outstanding. The story is very good. The game is about a human who has been turned into a pokemon and tries to find the answer to this mystery. The whole game has a lot of twists and turns and the storyline is much more better structured than PMD1. Post story is worth playing. The good part of this game is that they've added a new rescuing feature. Now you can capture outlaws and receive bounty for them. They've also added Eggs so you can now receive them as gifts for rescues and hatch them!

Graphics: 10/10
The characters and overhead shots look great! This game has overhead shots for all the pokemons unlike PMD1. The picture look sharper and clearer. The colors are also look more detailed because they've added better shadow effects.

Sound: 9/10
The sounds is excellent! It really matches the theme of the dungeon. Some sounds calm you down while other sounds get you excited. It has the mysterious sound for obvious reasons. It also has sounds for a character's emotion.

Play Time/Replayability: 9/10
Like I said, this game is very addicting and you should be able to finish this game quite quickly. It's worth playing again because you would want to start a new game with different starter pokemons than the one you first played with.

Final Recommendation:
I would recommend buying this game for anybody. It's enjoyable for people any age. It wouldn't matter whether you buy it or rent it as long as you get the chance to play it. Trust me, it's amazing.
