Spectrobes

"I saw, I bought, I exploded in amazement!"

I bought this game after awhile after it's released, and I was unsure about at first. The trailers kept playing on TV, and I started to get interested. Finally, 2009, I got it (After it dissapeared) and thought that it might not be as good as I thought. But then, as I started to see Genshi after the rain storm, and had my first 2 Spectrobes in my prizmod, I realized, this could be the best game ever! I found this to also be one of the most in-depth game ever to be created for the DS. Agreed?

STORYLINE- 5/10

The storyline was ok. You find Aldous, hear about the Spectrobes, and see your mission. But that is mostly all there is. It was a cool idea of a story, but it easiley lost it's greatness. You get your mission, then you go out to wage war against the Krawl. Enjoy.

GRAPHICS- 8/10

I found every single world a huge marvel of great exploration and beutiful cenery. I saw the NPP headquaters, and could not beleive how it looked. I found the worlds to be some of the best 3D graphics for the DS. The Spectrones all looked well done, and they all were really cool. Rallen looked a bit weird in combat though. The fact that the people were 2D I found was a bit lame...

GAMEPLAY- 6/10

It was ok to me, it just took some getting used to during combat. That is all I really need to say about it... Agreed? Attacking with the Spectrones takes forever to get used to though. It gets annoying to face the Krawl is annoying. Especially since battling revolves around Rallen rather than the Spectrones themselves. That is something that could have been fixed.

REPLAY VALUE- 8/10

I found the replay value to be suprisingly good. Mostly for mineral excavation though. I found it fun to find minerals to give to my Spectrobes, and evolve them to their strongest forms. Combat was not as much fun after you beat the game, cause if you fight the final boss once, there really is not much left for ya. Sorry...

MY RATING- 10/10

This is truley my favourite game for the DS ever. And once I get the second one, I know I will like it 3X more than this. I tend to get past the flaws of the game. How about you?
