"Rhythm Heaven hits a high note *ba-dum PSHH*"

Right off the bat, I want to say one thing: RHYTHM HEAVEN IS NOT WARIOWARE. Sure, there are some minigames, but they last way longer than Wario's. As to this game, I, personally, loved it. It was fun, intriguing, fun, frustrating at times, fun, difficult, and fun. I still don't have all the Perfects. Heck, I haven't finished the game!

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
This game is insane. In a good way. You know, insanely awesome. There are 30 unique minigames, and some are hard. What's even harder is getting a Superb, which requires high levels of skill. Even more difficult is getting a Perfect. Don't expect to get one of these at first, though; you have to wait until the game says "Go for a Perfect!". But I'm getting off-topic. Where was I... oh yeah. The game plays really well; there are a select few times where the beat is a little bit off (and no, it's not just me), but otherwise they have integrated music perfectly.

MUSIC: 10/10
That's right. Not sound, music. This game has over 30 unique songs, and each minigame's song seems to fit perfectly. Some of them even have lyrics. Lyrics. In a background song. In a game. These are all original compositions, too; it's not copyright infringement or a cop-out! Granted some songs are more, uh, annoying than others, but overall the music is the best I ever heard in a game. Even better with headphones.

PLOTLINE:
I don't think it's even fair to include "plotline" here. There is no plot. And while that is a bad thing most of the time, here it doesn't need one. It's just a minigame collection. It looks like that, and it is that.

GRAPHICS: 7/10
Speaking of looking, the graphics in this game are great. And while they sometimes are, ahem, weird, they still look great. "Why the 7/10?" you ask? Well, sometimes the graphics fall below par. "Par" being "recognizable to what it's supposed to be".

CONTROL: 9/10
Speaking of... uh, now that I mention that... okay, I don't have a segue. But I do have... never mind the segues. This game controls great. Just the stylus. You hold the DS sideways like a book, and you tap or flick or hold the stylus down to the beat of the music, or to the other audible clues. Yes, it is sometimes easier to play with your eyes closed. Weird, huh? I do like to amaze my family by getting Superbs while not looking at the screen, though.

RENT/BUY:
You should rent this game if it's not really your sort of thing. Because I think everyone would like this game, musically inclined or not. If this is your sort of thing, definitely buy. Even if you're a little reluctant, like I was, still go for it. Unless you won't be able to afford food or something. Then definitely opt for the food. Either way, try to give this game a chance.

OVERVIEW: 9/10
I, personally love this game. I'm really happy I gave it a chance, and you should too. Now if only I could finish it...
