"Best Anime Styled Fighting Game....Ever."

Jump: Ultimate Stars is like Brawl, but has Anime characters. It is one of the best fighting games for the Nintendo DS and for Nintendo Wi-Fi. It is a colab of Anime/Manga characters kicking each others asses.

Storyline (7/10) : Personally, I think the storyline could have been better. It involves Anime characters (Also called "Heroes" in the game) try to save the universe by going throught different levels trying to accomplish certain goals. The goals depend on where you go. there are also special objectives that you use to gain experience, which you use to upgrade or evolve your komas that you have obtained, which I mean is that when you get the komas, you upgrade them with experience and gain new ones, not lose the ones you have already obtained.

Gameplay (10/10) : The gameplay is great. Basically you have a Small Attack (B button), and Heavy Attack (Y button), and last, your Special, which can be used using the X button up, or regular X button. You are on a 2D stage and fight with other characters from Manga like Bleach, Naruto, Yu-Yu Hakusho, and others. You can break the walls and throw the other characters through. Their is also the Manga Decks, which use panels which you unlock to put on the panels. They can be Power-up komas, which upgrade your characters stats, Assist komas that you use to have them come and do an attack, and lastly, Battle komas, which you use to fight. You can customize the decks in way you wish, but must be in the space that you have.

Graphics (10/10) : The graphics are pretty good in this game, except for the flaw that the game is only in japanese so its only IN japanese. Everyone in the game is mostly chibi and will always be chibi, but hey? Who's complaining?

Sound (10/10) : The sound as well is very good. Their is a BGM section in the game to look at the sounds and songs you unlocked. The menu music is always the same, but their is different music for the stages you choose.

Overall, I give this game a 10/10. It is a very good game and I reccomend that you try to get it. You can try to get it off Ebay for like $40 and the shipping is like nothing. I got mine from Ebay, and got it about a week later. Guess What? I loved it.
