Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Your probably reading this review because I rated a Call of Duty game a 3. *Reaction shot* However I think that many of my concerns are quite valid. So let's get into it shall we?

Graphics: 5/10
The graphics we alright actually. It was pixilated in quite a few areas but over there wasn't really anything to complain about. I did hate the explosions intensely though, they looked like crap. The weapons that you could carry were fairly detailed, which was a nice plus. If I recall however, there are only three or four enemy character models! Wow, that's fun killing the same three guys over and over again.

Audio: 6.5/10
Again nothing much to complain about. The explosions sound alright, the guns sound like they are supposed to, and the voice acting is ok. Nothing wow worthy here though.

Gameplay: 1/10
ONLY A ONE!! Yes, simply for the fact that there is gameplay. This is more of a flaw with FPS on the DS in general, but don't worry I'll talk about CoD in a second. Why must I be forced to use the stylus to look around when the buttons work just fine? I mean, I don't think I had a problem with using the buttons before right? Anyways, now to CoD. Even with the stylus controls being the way they are they managed to make it even worse! I have to "double-tap" the stylus on the screen to zoom in. (which is almost essential) But half the time I zoom in or out without wanting to because I'm trying to turn with the stylus so I can shoot somebody! Sometimes it just decides it wants to zoom for ABSOLUTLY no reason! Something else that bugged my intensely was that if you don't get a headshot when trying to kill your enemies, they take between 20-50 bullets. That means that you have to aim(with the stylus controls), get the headshot, and run away before you die. Enough ranting, play it yourself and you'll see what I mean.

Enjoyment: 2/10
I had very little enjoyment out of this game actually. I found the controls to be horrible, the campaign was too short, the "disarm the explosive" was easy and gimmicky, and overall I thought this one needed some more time before it should have been released. I could never imagine playing online, or going through the campaign again. Granted other people do like this game, I just thought that it wasn't up to par.
