"Mario Party, a balance of pros and cons."

Lets start of with the sections....

1. Storyline (9/10)

The storyline is pretty interesting but one fact, who buys the game just to understand the story? Definitely not me! The story is entirely different from what I have expected, though. At first, I thought it will be the same as all Mario games except Mario Kart, Peach captured and Mario goes to save her. But, the storyline is entirely different now, want to know the storyline? Buy this game!

2. Gameplay (7/10)

Many games depends on skills. The longer you play, the better you get. For this game, the rule applies only to the minigames. The weakness is about the story mode or Monopoly mode, or whatever you call it. It is almost entirely to luck. The game goes quite boring after around 3 levels, although the challenge is there, still, tough luck. Why did I give 7 only for the gameplay? Simple, the minigames are too less and the board mode is just too plain.

3. Graphics (10/10)

The graphics are fantastic and have a little 3D effect. The creations are flawless and absolutely captivating. It looks like the original characters yet they have the 3D effect on them. The graphics of the games are super-duper too! Not a single flaw in this game's graphics, so... perfect!

4. Sounds (10/10)

Wonderful, cute sounds, suitable for all ages. There are unique sounds for all minigames and every single button you press. As usual, Mario productions still uphold their famous part, the beautiful, stress-relieving sounds.

5. Replay Value (5/10)

No wifi? That's a terrible disaster. You simply just replay the minigames and the board, it'll be boring even before you complete the game. Unless, you have friends, this game will just be a lonely tragedy. Yes, the game is good but the replay value is just not satisfying.

Total score (8/10)

All roundingly, this game is pretty fun and may just keep you addicted for hours. Those who do not have friends who have a DS, I recommend you not to buy this game, perhaps you should try longer versions like Digimon or Pokemon. For girls, try The Sims, Animal Crossing or maybe Harvest Moon. But, those who are really eager to buy this game, it also will not disppoint you as the graphics and sounds are just great and they will keep you mesmerized to kill time. You can also go the Gallery Section and simply try to beat the staff's high score.
