Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour
Review by GoldenMagikarp
"Yugioh NT - Since when have yugioh games been that good anyways?"
Dual Screen -10/10 (just for using them right!)
Most of the DS's games have no way to use the touch screen really. Yugioh! NT (which sounds kinda cool, too) is an awesome way to use the DS. Top screen, stuff rolls by (graphics, monsters, Kuribohs) and the bottom screen is how you play. It also takes away choppy battle scene where you attack (screen switches to monster fight) (screen changes back to duel field).
Gameplay - 10/10
How bout it? A game that uses actual rules, FINALLY adds spell counters (Breaker?), and doesn't have too many noticed bugs (like Keith's "blank" card in SDD). No Horus, though! It's not much of an RPG, but it should stay that way (until Konami gets a better idea than Reshef or the Sacred Cards).
Graphics - 8/10
Definitely NOT up to the DS's great ability, but better than GBAs. The graphics and dueling have all been amped up, like the major monsters have dramatic music when summoned. And the monsters appear, too! People have better features, you can go in places, the map works better.
Sound - 5/10
Ugh. Now this is the downside. Like one or two dueling songs, sound effects that may give you headaches (the same ones that have been used forever!), and not much else.
Story -0/10
Not much of one, besides one of (surprise?) Kaiba's tourneys, and the Shadow duelists.
New Features - 9/10
Night and Day, new cards, touch screens, etc. been over it before. It's all good. Cept' we still have to pay to use the PW machine.
Overall -6/10
You like Yugioh? Have a DS? Buy it. Hate Yugioh? Duh, don't buy it. Wanna get into yugioh but have no money? This basically gives you virtual versions of the cards in real life. Compared to most yugioh games, it's a 10, but compared to any other game, it's average.
