Jump Superstars

"Shonen jump on the DS"
I must say that this game is the best DS game I have played so far because it is so addictive the way you must combine your koma and use it to do a wide range of tasks and challenges is just astounding.
The game has many challenges in it to stop the tediousness of just bashing your opponent about these challenges include don't get hit, break all the walls and beat certain people in certain time limits there are many more but that would just take up too much space leaving me with no more room to write anything else.
The character roster is mind boggling because it has more than 30 characters with about 60+ forms also having characters that would never fight in the manga's now fight or help by healing or slowing down the opposition.
The stage selection is very good but the stages are pretty boring as they all consist of a few platforms, but the breath taking background art is amazing it takes your mind away from the simplicity of the stages.
I don't know about anyone else but I find that the language barrier is hardly a problem as it is mainly trial and error based, saying this there are many translation guides scattered around the Internet to help you find out exactly what needs to be done.
On a bad note combining koma is very boring and tedious if you haven't read any shonen jump manga or cannot read Japanese, which I'm sure the majority of us can't so basically you just have to do a trial and error search on all the missing koma to match up all the characters if you have all the koma and have not used any missing koma it would take you precisely 1 hour to arrange and sort out all the koma pieces.
The main menu and all the other menus are all very simple and easy to remember meaning you don't have to resort to a translation guide after the first few attempts at the game. The combat in the game is brutal yet funny meaning this game is for pre teens young adult ages but if your older who cares just buy a copy.
A problem that normally occurs is the shipping or importing; yes it may work on all Nintendo DS handhelds but it's just the problems that can happen when the item is getting shipped either it gets lost or it breaks on delivery but a good site with very good import reviews and safe deliveries is yesasia.com.
Even sweeter is the download play option this means that you can play your friends who like the game and have a DS to possibly show them the ropes and influence them to get the game themselves and use your own decks.
Here is the final review summary
STORY: 6/10
Not too bad, it has a lot of manga references but can only be truly enjoyed by people who can actually read Japanese.
AUDIO: 9/10
All I can say is oh my god because how did they fit the greatest DS sound quality I have ever heard on a very small cartridge about the size of a shreddie also it has fun sounds that sort of influence you to battle against the computer and slaughter them.
VISUAL: 10/10
The manga style sprites and manga pieces are amazing I cannot believe that they could do any better with that style of graphics at all.
GAMEPLAY: 10/10
Easy simple to use game play that is easy to remember and varies between each character and their koma blocks filled up. The battle controls make you feel like you are this amazing character with super talents that will take on anyone who gets in their way.
Overall 9/10
Because it is many manga's all rolled up into one game where you can finally determine who is better Naruto or luffy or goku and gohan and many more.
I must recommend this game to every DS user around who likes anime and manga because this game has rocked my world since I first got it
Now I must go I have to get the rest of the koma now bye for now and who knows I may see you in the future and have a game against you on jump super stars.
