THE FOLLOWING SITES HAVE HOSTING PRIVILEGES:
GameFAQs (www.gamefaqs.com)
IGN (www.ign.com)

If you are e-mailing me about feedback, questions, or anything having
to do with any FAQ, please send it to BoredGamerAdvanc@cs.com. If any
e-mail is sent to BoredGamerAdvanc@cs.com that does not concern a FAQ,
it will be deleted/ignored, as I primarily use this address for FAQ-
related stuff.

Another new note: DO NOT put my name in your address book. I'm not
doing this to be mean, and I extend my full apology to those of you who
know how to take care of your computer who have had my name in their
books. The person you can blame is whoever it is that just will not
get rid of their klez problems (as well as other e-mail viruses). I'm
sick and tired of opening my e-mail and seeing more than a dozen
messages from MAILER DAEMON saying that e-mail I set was not accepted,
especially when it was to somebody I've never sent mail to in my life;
or when I get mail from newsletters I've never signed up for. If you
are reading this and know you're responsible, PLEASE GET SOMETHING TO
TAKE CARE OF YOUR VIRUSES. I don't mean to come off as sounding mean,
but it's seriously irritating the bejesus out of me.
Please stop sending me files. I will not download them unless they are
someone I know, and by this I mean someone I know -personally- like
family or best friends. I have suspected that some files that have
been sent to me are viruses (with good justification after being
persecuted) and did not download them. This also means not to send me
FAQs or any other material to critique.

INFO INVOLVING PUTTING MY NAME IN ADDRESS BOOKS:
It has come to my attention recently that some of you out there have
been putting my name in your address books. This is all fine and dandy
by me. However, one, maybe more, amonst you have contracted the Klez
virus (or something similar). I know this because I'm constantly
getting e-mails sent back to me by MAILER-DAEMON and the like that
certain e-mails that I didn't personally send are not going through
because they have viruses in them. This is usually how viruses like
Klez operate; they get into your address book, find a name, and begin
sending e-mails using that name. I will say this loud and clear...
CLEAN YOUR SYSTEMS!!! Download FixKlez or AVG Virus Scanner Free
Edition. They're free, much emphasis on FREE, which means costs you
nothing but time and hard drive space. You can probably find them on
Download.com, if not do a Google search for them.

This FAQ is Technically Complete. While it is pretty much finished,
there are some corrections that can and hopefully will be made through
feedback. Please hit me with some.

UPDATE HISTORY

8/13/2001- version .01- Life has been breathed into this project. Even
though this is a little known game, I figured I'd still write a FAQ for
it since it really has none at this time. I've begun Section 6 and
completed Section 5. I also got a start on Section 1. There is a
little information that can be added to the final copy. Let's just
hope I can get someone to fill me in.

8/13/2001- version 0.7- Completed Section 2A and did most of the
walkthrough. Still need to add level 9.

8/13/2001- version 1.2- I finished the walkthrough and added a little
extra to past levels. I changed the boss strategy for the final boss a
little. Finished everything else including the FAQ as well as Sections
2B and 2C.

8/17/2001- v1.21- Caught the insane, misspelling of "Histery." I think
I got a good laugh out of that. Also spellchecked. Heheh... Bonush
round... What was I thinking?

8/27/03- FAQ-wide updating. Details above.

/ SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION \
-----------------------------

1A: STRANGE BED-FELLOWS

Tony and his sister (name forgotten; if you know it, do not hesitate to
e-mail it to me) are police officers for Los Angeles. They may not
look like it in the game (considering that Tony looks like he's about
10-years-old), but they work the mean streets. One day, while running
their usual routes of crime fighting, a strange UFO flies overhead and
abducts the both. The alien lifeforms then take them to another world.
Tony has been separated from his sister, which the aliens now hold in
captivity. Strangely enough, Tony comes across a mech while in the
UFO. It seems the aliens have actually stolen the mech as it seems to
have a personality all of its own (the instruction book speaks of the
mech and Tony actually communicating). Together, they travel through
the desolate, alien world to find Tony's sister and return to Earth.

1B: THE QUIRKY EXPERIENCE

I came across this game while I was looking for a new Gameboy game to
purchase after receiving a little money for my 12th birthday. It came
down to this and Dr. Franken (which I hear is excellent). This one
looked interesting. I was in the mood for a side scrolling platformer,
so I decided to blow my roughly $20 on this. It didn't turn out to be
a great purchase, but not a bad one for that matter. I obtained this
game in November of 1992 and finished it sometime in Spring of '93. I
actually have wrote a review for this one GameFAQs and gave it a 6/10,
which by my standards is slightly over mediocre (10 = excellent, 5 =
mediocre, 1 = Utterly Terrible). While this may not be Taito's holy
glory, this is an okay game. I still laugh whenever I hear Tony's
girly laugh as he's thrown from the mech's body!

  -----------------------------
/ SECTION 2: PLAYING THE GAME \
---------------------------------

2A: CONTROLS

The game's controls are very simplistic. That is the upside to systems
like Gameboy and Nintendo. Since they're controls are very limited on
buttons, they have easy controls on many games. There's no fumbling
around with complexities to execute the slightest command. Anyway, if
you push the A button, you will execute a jump. The B button fires
your weapon. If you hold the B button after firing, you can run. Of
course, your direction pads control your motion. If you push a certain
direction with A+B, you can shoot a life arrow. Life arrows can save
you if you fall off the edge of a pit, but if you do this underneath a
platform, you can ascend to the platform. This can be helpful at
times. If you've ever gained thrusters (represented by a wing), you
can push A while in mid-air and activate them. They can only be used
once per pick up.

2B: LEVEL BREAKDOWN

Each level is a side-scrolling shooter. Like many platformers, you
mainly move from left to right. There are no levels that require you
to do opposite. There are some that allow you to descend or ascend in
some parts of the level, but never a scene in which you must to from
right to left. Hidden in the levels are bonus stages. When you are in
the bonus stages, you'll be on a moving platform with a brick
formation. Shoot the corners of the formation until all the bricks are
gone. You'll see a lion which you must jump on the back of to gain
some extra points. This will also catapult you near the end of the
level. It is actually necessary to find the bonus stage in level 7 to
progress since the boss of that stage is indestructible.

There are various items you'll see throughout levels. Here they are...

Power Blocks: Your best friend if you lose your mech. If you have no
mech and see one of these, then jump on top of it and get in the proper
position. Tony should stop, look toward the screen, generate a new
mech, and jump in. If you have a mech, it'll just give you extra
points.

Life Arrows: These can be very helpful. When you fall off a pit, you
will automatically pull yourself up and save yourself from a fate worse
than death (well, sorta). You can also manually use these by pushing
A+B with a directional and you can shoot on. This can help you if you
wish to ascend to a platform above you

Invincibility Triange: Appear throughout the level. They're just like
the Starmen in Super Mario Bros. They can make you invincible and also
give you the ability to kill enemies when you run into them.

Lion's Head: Just like the triangles, except these can only be found if
you shoot. They are hidden in each level. They also tend to last
longer than the triangles.

Gun Upgrade: For your mech, this gives it a spray attack. For Tony, he
can now rapid fire. One of the gifts bore by the cross.

Thrusters: Also given by the cross. Allows you to descend slowly if
you have one. By jumping and pushing A, your character (either one)
will slowly descend and move forward a bit.

2C: A BOY AND HIS MECH

Tony and his mech are depending very much on each other. Tony is far
too weak to destroy the enemies on his own. If you are in your mech
and get hit, you lose the mech. This forces Tony to have to fight on
his own. His attack is significantly slower than the mechs, which
really sucks.

  ------------------------
/ SECTION 3: WALKTHROUGH \
----------------------------

Level 1
You should start out on a platform above the first enemy. Drop down
and shoot it. Then, jump across the big pit ahead of you using the
platforms. Right next to the second platform should be a set of life
arrows. Those are very helpful. There should then be a longer
platform with spider monsters on it. Destroy them and continue. The
next platform should be a different color/shade (depending on what GB
system you're playing this on) than previous ones. When you jump on
it, it begins to move. Don't worry, it doesn't completely drop out.
It just moves up and down. Jump from that platform onto the small
planet and be careful of the enemy that splits when you kill it. Just
after that should be an invincibility triangle. Grab it. You are now
not only invincible, but when you walk into an enemy you kill it. It's
just like the Starman from Super Mario Bros. Jump on the next few
platforms. Another mover should come up and you'll eventually find
yourself on a platform with some bunny monsters. Kill the bunnies, but
don't continue on just yet. There should be a Power Block near there
in case you lost your mech back near the beginning. Jump on the Power
Block and you'll get the mech back. Jump down the pipe-like thing and
you should land on a small, moving planet. Some life arrows should
appear next to it, so grab them. As the planet moves, continue to fire
rapidly, killing the bat monsters. Keep firing even as you see
platforms because doing so will make a hidden lion head appear.
Destroy the jellyfish monsters and grab the lion head, then jump down
the platforms. Drop down to the next moving planet and allow it to
descend. Now, drop down to the bigger planet below once you can see
the platform. There should be a cross-like mechanism moving around on
the platform. Before it falls off, shoot it. It'll give you a spray
attack and some thrusters. Kill the enemies and drop onto the next
descending platform. As you go down, destroy the enemies and work your
way onto the other descenders. Eventually, you should come to a place
with flames coming out of the walls. Dodge the flames at all costs.
You should come to another planet with a descender to the left of it.
Take it down and you should come to a place with a dog and some steam.
Be careful of the dog. It cannot be defeated. If need be, there
should be a Power Block for you to use. Now, stay clear of the steam
as it will temporarily paralyze you and make you an easy victim for the
dog. Run and jump over the dog. Prepare for the first boss.

BOSS
STRANGE ALIEN CREATURE
Difficulty Rating: Fairly easy
This boss should be too hard. Just be cautious as it dies. Run around
until it begins to drop. Do not let it drop on you. When it finally
hits the ground, begin blasting it. Please do take notice that the
only part of its body that takes any damage is the bulging, throbbing
part. Continue to blast it until it eventually dies. It should
eventually die and split into two jellyfish monsters. I usually say
ignore the jellies if you can and just run more to the right. You
should come to a strange TV screen. Jump in it and progress to the
next level.

Note: This boss can be made way easier if you have a spray attack]

Level 2
You should start out on the far left of the level with a big pit ahead
of you. There should be some flashing parts on the ground. Stand on
one flashing part and jump up and down a few times until it stops
flashing. You should notice a platform move on the right. Do the same
on the other flasher and jump over the pit onto the platform. Beware
of the dog. Behind him should be a pole with a flashing spot on it.
Shoot the spot and it'll disappear. There should also be another
flashing part on the floor. Run-jump over the dog and just run on the
flashing spot on the floor and the next pole should disappear.
Finally, just shoot the last pole as you did the first and keep going.
Some bunny monster should appear. Rapid fire until they're gone and
grab the lion head that appears. You should see a swarm of music
notes. Rapid fire until all the notes are gone then jump through. The
notes are deadly, but they are annoying. Destroy the bouncing machine
as it's coming at you. Just beyond that is a spot with strange waves.
When the wave aren't visible, jump through. These are just like the
music notes. Kill the spiders and grab the invincible triangle. You
should be able to just go through the notes if you're invincible.
Destroy the enemy beyond the notes and keep going. You should notice
some life arrows and a strange platform with nothing below it. Grab
the arrows and watch out for the platform as it does fall. Destroy the
cross near the next group of music notes and get boosters and the
spray. The spray will help with the next round of music notes. There
should be a platform just floating off the main land. Jump on the
platform and you'll be thrown into a sequence of moving platforms.
Jump carefully from each to the next. In the middle should be a
regular platform with some life arrows that'll appear on the far right
side. There should be some platforms moving up on one side and down on
the other. Jump over them to the next areas. If you jumped on the
top, destroy the creature and fire at the soft spot on the pole until
it opens. Destroy the pill bugs and continue on. If you chose the
bottom, do the same on top, only after the bunnies you should come to a
platform. Jump on it and it'll move across. Jump on the next platform
and over to the boss battle.

BOSS
ROBOTIC DINOSAUR
Difficulty Rating: Pathetic
You can only hurt this creature when it stands still. When it does,
attack rapidly. When it jumps in the air, run underneath it but only
if it gets too close. Keep going until the creature is defeated.
There really isn't much more to it than that. Run along and there
should be some raising platforms. Jump on them and make your way to
the TV screen to the next level.

Level 3
Run right and look out for the falling rocks. Kill the pill bugs just
after that and jump to the next platform in the middle of the
platforms. You can go down to the cave as well and push down and it'll
take you a little ways ahead. Anyway, assuming you didn't take the
cave... Run right and grab the Power Block if needed. There should be
two caves after that. The top one has wind blowing out of it and can
be quite a throw off. It should throw you near some enemies. Chances
are likely they could throw you from your mech. Destroy them and grab
the fruits of the cross. Watch out for the steam erupting from from
the contraption and jump to the next platform. Watch out for the enemy
that falls from above. Kill it with caution and jump to the next
platform. You could also drop down, but I like taking the higher
platform. You should come to a platform at the very top of the screen.
Keep firing and you should get a lion head that'll deem you invincible.
Just run straight through until you fall off at the end of the
platform. Watch out for the rocks again. Take the cave and jump to
the platform right of the cave exit. Grab the invincibility triangle
and run straight, going through the enemies. You should come to a
place where there is a platform up and to the left of some tendrils.
If you fire while on the platform with a spray attack, some hidden
platforms should appear. Use those to get past the tendrils, otherwise
just jump over it cautiously. If you fire to the right of the tendrils
some place, a lion head should appear. Grab he lion head and there
should be some more flashing parts on the ground. Jump on the two
flashers and get rid of the poles in the way. There should be another
one with a soft spot on it. Hit the soft spot and go on.

BOSS
ALIEN INSECT
Difficulty Rating: Fairly easy
This one has quite the same principle as the first. Run around until
it descends and then hit it's abdomen (which should be at the top of
it) to damage it. It should throw its claw at you. Jump over the
claw. My suggestion is to stay on the far right when it starts
throwing its claw until it descends. That should give you a lot of
room to work with and jump over the claw. Repeat the process until it
is dead.

Level 4
Run and jump over the platforms and then destroy the blocks that are
piled up. After that, a fish should jump up out of the water. Be
careful if you destroy it, as it will become three new monsters. Rapid
fire at this area until you kill the second fish. Now jump up and
destroy the cross and grab the benefits. Kill the creatures, even in
their final form and run along to grab some arrows. Look out for the
fish that jump up near that area. Grab the triangle and move on. There
should be another platform that'll take you across the water. There
should be a bunch of fish coming up out of the water. Stay on the far
left of the platform as there will be one fish coming directly up out
from behind. If you can, destroy it before it has much of a chance to
emerge. If you have the spray attack, fire rapidly. This should make
some platforms appear. Jump to the next platform and grab the Power
Block if necessary. Watch out for steam, enemies, and falling
platforms. Run until there's a split in the road. Jump to the top and
keep going. Keep running and firing until a lion head appears. Grab
that and keep going, destroying more enemies. You should come to some
more blocks. Destroy them and advance. Jump to the top route of the
two paths after the blocks and attack the bunnies. They should become
pill bugs. Kill those as well. Drop down and continue on.

BOSS
GIANT FISH
Difficulty Rating: Fairly difficult
Here's a helpful pattern to follow. When he's close to your platform,
get close to him. When he's away from the platform, be away from him.
This will help you dodge the dead fish he throws at you. Only attack
when he pops up out of the water. I mainly only recommend attacking
when he pops out near your platform. After it's dead, its dead body
should be floating on the surface. Jump on it and it'll carry you to
the other side. Jump through the TV screen to level 5

Level 5
The game should be pretty much downhill from here. Run along and
destroy the enemies as they come. Jump over the platforms and
progress. There should be a Power Block that appears near a platform.
You'll notice a small space in the platform. Shoot that space and a
lion head will appear. Grab it. There should be a radio after that.
Run past it as soon as you can, just before the notes come out. Watch
out for the dog as usual and keep going. Grab the triangle and run
along the platform. Just watch out for the pieces that move up and
down. Run along the power lines and be careful for the electric jolts.
If you fire with spray right after the power lines, some platforms
should appear. Take the platforms and run. There should be some
flashing spots and a moving platform right after that. I have no idea
what the spots do. I've shot the hell out of them and nothing happens.
Just avoid them and make your way to a ship. Run right from the ship
and watch out for the platforms.

BOSS
ANCIENT SNAIL
Difficulty Rating: Pathetic
This one shouldn't extremely hard unless you're not that great at
timing or aiming. Jump over it as it comes at you and shoot it only
when the head pops out. Not much more to it than that. Run along and
jump into the TV screen.

Level 6
Run along and kill the enemies. There should be a tree with
"breakable" branches in it (they can break, but it's quite hard).
Don't stand under the moon too long because part of it will break off
and attempt to destroy you. The second breakable branch should have a
lion head above it. Shoot it to make it appear and grab it. Watch out
for the next set of pill bugs. They become insects when you kill them.
Grab the Power Block if needed. Jump from the platforms to the sea
monster's back. You should see the sea monster's head. Shoot the head
until it's still, then jump on it. After that one should be another
sea monster. Do the same. Shoot the castle and a lion head will
appear. Grab it or the triangle, it doesn't matter which. If you
shoot just the right spot of the castle, a hidden passage will appear.
You can go that way. Well, assuming you didn't... After the castle
should be some fish and a sea monster. If you have the spray attack,
you can make some platforms appear. Either take the platforms or
attack the sea monster. Run along and kill the bunnies then jump to
the next platform. Yet another sea monster. Stop it and jump on its
head. Yet another short level, probably the shortest in the game.

BOSS
ALIEN EAGLE
Difficulty Rating: Moderate
This one's a bit hard. The only real hard part is the eggs it lays.
As they begin to hatch destroy them. Don't let them fully hatch.
Attack the eagle only as he comes close to the ground. That's not a
necessity, but it's a recommendation. After it's dead, move on.

Level 7
This level is quite the trickster. Run along until you see some
flashing parts. Kill the bats and jump on the second flashing part. A
chain should appear. Jump up and grab the chain. Run along and grab a
triangle kill the enemies. The snails in pairs can die no matter which
one you shoot, they both become one enemy. Kill it. Destroy the cross
and grab its fruits. There should a blinking platform. Jump
repeatedly and the platform should move out. Keep jumping and it
should raise. Shoot the piece of the corner that's blinking and the
platform should come down. Now, jump on it and run along. Grab the
arrows and jump on the next blinking part of the ground and a platform
should descend. Jump on the platform and the pole should open. Jump
on the stump that was the pole a few times and some platforms should
appear. Jump on the vertical platform and go to the bonus round. This
should drop you off in a hidden area. DO NOT FIGHT THE BOSS! It cannot
be killed. If you didn't take the bonus round, then you will have to
fight the boss. Drop down and kill the snails. Jump on the flashing
platform above them a few times and ascend. Continue to ascend,
jumping up the platforms and killing enemies. Watch out for the bats
at the top, ascend a little ways more and jump through the TV screen.

Level 8
Move along and be careful of the tendrils as usual. Destroy the spores
that you'll eventually come across. Hitting only a few should make
them all disappear. Grab the life arrows and attack the enemies coming
along the platforms. More spores. You should see some coiled plants.
At the second coiled plant is a lion head, which is hidden unless you
shoot it. Grab the triangle and keep running. Destroy the pill bug
and birds, just be careful of the falling rocks. Jump from platform to
platform until you get to a Power Block. Grab if needed. You should
come to a place with platforms in the water. Jump from platform to
platform and grab the cross, then attack the sea monsters. Avoid the
dog after that and attack the enemy. Work along and you should come to
the boss.

FINAL BATTLE
ROCK-THROWING ROBOT
Difficulty Rating: Quite Difficult
This one should be hard. As he comes toward you it'll throw rocks.
The rocks are always thrown in the same place. Whenever he throws the
second rock and it hits the ground, I usually run through the line of
rocks, making absolutely sure I'm not hit. That can be difficult, but
it's the only way I've seen through it. You should get better with
practice. The only way to hurt it is when it stands still. At that
moment, attack the darkened arm. That's it's only weakness. Dodge the
last two rocks to the best of your ability. What I find comes handy is
to run beyond the landing point of the last rock, then lightly jump and
shoot the arm. Even if you only get one shot in at a time, you can
still defeat it.

Level 9- Final Stage
You will start out on a moving platform with others coming toward you.
Jump on the others. Jump to the top area and grab the arrows. Now,
jump from there to the next mechanical lifts to the next small
platform. There should be some more lifts after that and eventually
some more moving platforms. This platform will actually stand still
until you jump on it. You should finally hit some land. Jump on it
and be careful of the crushing traps. The traps don't have to crush
you to damage you. Just touching them is bad enough. There should be
two that come together at the end. Jump when they leave you the most
amount of space between them. On the other side should be a Power
Block. Use it if you need to. Do the usual jump strategy to the
flashing spots and the poles ahead should disappear. Then, run a
little further and there should be some more music notes. Destroy the
notes and there should be a strange machine beyond them. Jump in the
machine and you'll get whatever it was the mech wanted. After that is
another machine of the same. The mech will disappear for good, but you
will get Tony's sister back! They will automatically walk over to a
strange ship of sorts. This ship cannot directly move left to right,
but must jump over left to right in order to move. On the plus side,
you cannot be killed in this machine (As far as I know. I've been
wailed on with that thing and have never seen it destroyed.). So,
shoot the enemies and take them down, then continue on. You should
come to some platforms that you'll have to carefully jump across. You
should be happy that there is no boss here. Just jump straight into
the screen and watch the ending, as short as it is.

/ SECTION 4: FAQ \
--------------------

Q: How do I make Lion's Heads appear?
A: Fire in just the right areas.

Q: Where can I find this game?
A: As I've said before... eBay.

Q: How would you rate the difficulty of this game?
A: Fairly easy with the exception of the final boss.

Q: How do you defeat the 7th boss?
A: You can't. Eventually, your hits won't have anymore of an effect
