8/8/00 I started this FAQ and researched everything about each level
and the story on pencil and pad.

7/31/01 Full version upgrade! Fixed a lot of gramical errors and took
out the really bad map of the Dr. Monroe's Hop Scip and Fry. Also

----------------------2.0--------STORY-------------------------
You are Bart Simpson from the animated comedy, The Simpson’s
as you try and win the unknown ultimate prize, and along with the money
you can earn on a foolish brutal Game Show. Each week you have to reach
your target amount of money to move on to the next week. You can get
the
money from winning events and beating the Juggernauts.
When you choose to play a game a whole bunch of copyright stuff
comes on and then comes Kent Brockman and Dr. Marvin Monroe (2
Simpson’s
characters) talking at the Springfield Arena. Here’s what they say:
Kent Brockman: Live from the Springfield Arena. Welcome to another
edition of _Juggernauts_ the show that invites you to win
big prizes by taking on a series of pumped-up hulking
brutes and takes no legal responsibility for any injuries you
might sustain. I’m your award winning host, Kent Brockman and
with me is guest commentator Dr. Marvin Monroe.
Dr. Marvin Monroe: Hiya.
Brockman: So who’s our lucky challenger today?
Monroe: It’s Bart Simpson Kent. Bart weighs in at about 60 lbs. and
just over 4 ft. tall.
Brockman: And how big is our smallest juggernaut?
Monroe: That would be Snarla, Kent. 6’2, 163 lbs. of catlike fury!
Brockman: Meow! Heh-heh. Good Luck. Bart. Let’s play week # 1.

* 2.1 About the Levels *

When you are reading the levels there will always be 8 things.
1. The Objective
2. The Controls
3. The Difficulty Ranking
4. The Best Possible Score /Time
5. My Best Score /Time
6. Scoring
7. Tips and or a Strategy
8. The Beginning of Each Level Speeches
-The objective simply states what you have to do for each event.
-The controls are just the different moves you can or need to do in
order to accomplish the objective.
-The difficult ranking is how tough the event is. It goes on a scale
from 1 to 7 (Because there are 7 events total in the game) 1 being the
toughest and 7 being the easiest. I am not including the 3 bonus
levels.
-The best possible score/time is just the best possible
score or time you can get on a level.
-My best score/time is simply my best score/time.
I put this up to show you how high you can actually get, but really
the reason is vanity.
-Scoring is simply how many points you can get, and where or how
you can get them.
-I will also have a tip or strategy for each level to help you get
through it.
-The beginning of each level speech is not a very important part
but it is a part. It’s when each character will speak about
their level and give some advice.
-------------------3.0-----Levels (The Events) ---------------

* 3.1 Dr. Marvin Monroe’s Hop, Skip, and Fry*
*********************************************
OBJECTIVE: To score as many points as possible (you score points by
shooting the ball into the basket)
When on the board:
D-pad : Jump or run in that direction
D-pad + Hold A: Long jump in that direction
When at the basket (with the ball):
D-pad : run in that direction
D-pad + A: Slam-dunk (Note: you must be one square away from the basket
in order to slam-dunk and a Slam-dunk is more points than a
shot ball)
A : Shoot the ball (Note: you must be right next to the basket in
order to shoot the ball
In this event when you step on a black square you get electrified
and one of your 3 hits gets taken away. Also the white and black
squares change every so often. And just to make it difficult they threw
on a couple of juggernauts for you. If you jump on one you will be sent
a few squares away, but that might not be what you want.
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 2
This is pretty hard level since you really can’t master it, and
when you make mistakes they can be brutal. Example: You can have 8
balls and all three hits and than in ten seconds lose all three hits.
Trust me it’s happened to me plenty of time.
The board of the event is like a chess board. Also all the black areas
will switch with the white ones every once in a while. So just think of
the black areas as the good areas when that happens. You want to avoid
these. The rows are numbers and the columns are letters. Like this:

Now when I refer of what the best ways to go are, I will refer to each
square with a number followed by a letter. I will also refer to long
jumps
as LJ’s.
_Now look at all the empty boxes:_
I start from column D and do a LJ to 9D. I then keep repeating LJ’s
until I reach where the basket is. I then take a slam-dunk and continue
back to get a new ball the same way I came up. Another good way is to
start off in column H and do a LJ to 9H. Then another LJ to 7H. Then go
up one space to 6H and do an LJ to4H. Then to finish it off do 2 more
LJ’s and slam-dunk. I usually mix and match these two ways to fool the
juggernauts.
_Now look at all the filled in boxes:_
I start from column F and do a LJ to 9F. Then I do another LJ and move
one space forward and end up on 6F. Another LJ and one space up and
you get to 3F. Then move to the right one square and up one square. Do
an LJ and you should be ready to slam-dunk. Please do. Then run all the
way to the left at column A. Move down 1 square and do two LJ’s and
you should end up on 5A. Move down another square and do another LJ.
Repeat that last sentence and you should be ready to get the ball.
Since the white squares and the black squares switch place it can get
annoying. Here is when the switches happen:
First Switch: It is always exactly 77 seconds.
Second Switch: Usually around 55 seconds. Give or take 5 seconds.
Third Switch: Usually around 33 seconds. Give or take three seconds.
Fourth Switch: Usually around 11 seconds.
Fifth Switch: This only happens in the week’s past 1 (Week #2, Week #4)
with 1 second left.

* 3.2 Captain Murdock’s Skateboard Bash and Crash*
***************************************************
OBJECTIVE: Skate down the perilous ramp and knock the juggernaut off
the platform.
When on the ramp:
A : Accelerate (Note: Once going down the hill, you do not need
to accelerate because you are at top Speed, but once you start
going up the small hill, you will need to again.
D-pad up or down : Slide up or down
D-pad left : Brake
When in the air:
D-pad up or down : Move up or down in the air
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 6 because this is an easy event, but
every now and then you tend to screw it up.
The obstacles:
While you are going down the ramp there will be a few
obstacles in your way. Here is a list of them:
1.A hand comes out of the ground and grabs your skateboard.
When you see the hand swerve/slide out of the way. If the hand
does get you, you will lose 1 (out of your 3) runs.
2.A pizza slice appears on the ramp. When you see the pizza
swerve/slide out of the way. If you hit the pizza you will lose 1 run.
3.A miniature fence thing that slows you down. But since this
only appears at the bottom of the ramp, it will slow you down
so much that you will barely make it up the hill. And when you
do make it up the hill, you will just fall right off. So you will lose
1 run.
4.When you are in the air ready to hit the juggernaut he will have a
shield. You must try to avoid the shield and aim for the other part
of the body. In order to do this you must go up or down depending
on where the shield is. If you hit the shield you will bounce off and
lose one run.
NOTE: If you go too high over the juggernaut, there is a skateboard.
Try and get that. If you do, you will get another chance with out
losing a run.
My only advice to you is that when you first see the obstacle,
move out of the way because there is no way to predict it.

* 3.3 Bonus Level 1 *

OBJECTIVE: Make the strong woman juggernaut give up because
there are too many weights
Note: Since this is a bonus level, you can only reach it if you
successful beat all of Week #1’s events.
On the platform:
D-pad right or left : run right or left (Note: if you run
over a weight, you automatically pick it up)
A : drop weight
D-pad right or left + A : throw weight on an angle
In order to make the lady give up you will need to use
certain weights. Here is what you will need:
2 medium weights
2 small weights
BEST POSSIBLE TIME: 60 seconds
BEST POSSIBLE SCORE: $1,000

* 3.4 Nuclear Power Plant Bob `Till You Drop*
**********************************************
OBJECTIVE: Knock the juggernaut off the platform
three times using your weapon
On the Platform:
A : Jump up
A + D-pad right or left : jump right or left
B : Swing your weapon
B + D-pad right : Thrust swing which your weapon.
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 7 because this is the easiest
event in the entire game.
I know I shouldn’t be giving strategies out for this level but it's probably
only easy because of my strategy. All you have to do is
keep doing the thrust swing (B + D-pad right). The guy will attack
you, but you will end up hitting him more times than he hits you.
Plus you can get your lives back if don’t get hit for 2 seconds. This
is the easiest level by far. I don’t even look at the screen any more
when I play this level, I just keep pressing D-pad right and B and
watch TV or something. The only thing I can tell you is that if you want a
measly extra 100 points or so than you can actually pay attention and get a
better time and score.

* 3.5 Moe’s Tavern Shove Fest *
*******************************
OBJECTIVE: Shove your opponent off the Moe’s Tavern mat.
On the mat:
A : jump
B : shove
D-pad right, left, up, or down : Move right, left, up, or down
D-pad right or left + B : Running shove (Note: If your opponent
moves out of the way you will run right off
the mat and KO yourself)
D-pad right or left + A : Jump right or left
D-pad down + B : Running Dash
In the intro Moe starts taking about how you should try the back flip,
but I don’t know how too. So if you know how, please tell me.
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 1 yes-number 1, the toughest event.
This might be because I don’t know how to do the back flip (I’ve
only done it once), or maybe I just stink. What ever it is this level
is hard. I rarely win. And when I do, there is no time left on the
clock. The best tip I have for you is to just keep doing the running
dash.
There are two contestants that you play in order to beat this level.
You each get two KO’s. When you get knocked off the mat, you lose
1 KO. After the first contestant the KO reset and you get both yours
back if you were missing any. Also each contestant has a move that will
make you sick and then a big blow to shove you really far. Here are the
two contestants:
The First Contestant: I think this is Snarla (the juggernaut Dr. Marvin
Monroe was talking about in the story): She kisses you to make you
sick, and then does a super shove to shove you really far.
The Second Contestant: Barney Gumble (an alcoholic from the Simpson’s
TV show): Barney burps on you to make you sick and than bounces you
off of his belly for the really far shove. This is really powerful.
Trust me. Once I was about to knock him off, but when he did his belly
bounce, It knocked me all the way across and off the mat!

* 3.7 Herman’s Military Minefield Mayhem *
*********************************************
OBJECTIVE: Successfully land avoiding the balloons, then successfully
cross the minefield and reach the Finish line.
While in the air:
D-pad down – Speed up
D-pad up – Slow down
D-pad right or left – Swerve left or right
While on the ground:
D-pad right, left, up, or down – move right, left, up, or down
The unique thing about this level is that you only use the d-pad.
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 3 because this isn’t that tough but you
can easily screw it up.
The first part of this event you are in a parachute trying to avoid
balloons. The second part of this event is walking through a minefield.
This can be difficult especially since there are also guys shooting
water balloons at you. You have 3 hits, so that means water balloons
can only hit you twice. If you get hit by a third one you will lose a
run. Also if you walk into a mine you will lose a run. You start off
with three runs. Once you pass the
first part of the mission you will automatically start back at the
minefield, not in the air.
Note: When a water balloon hits you and you right in front
of a mine, the water balloon will knock you back, and you
will hit the mine and lose a run.
BEST POSSIBLE TIME: 72 seconds
BEST POSSIBLE SCORE: $8,880

*3.8 The Krustyland Hammer Slammer *

OBJECTIVE: Prevent the juggernauts from getting to the bottom of their
poles
Before you slam your hammer down:
A : Begin to slam your hammer down
A after you began to swing your hammer down : chooses the
power level and swings
your hammer
D-pad right or left : walk right or left
D-pad right or left after you’ve pressed it the first time : run right
or left
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 4, because once you master it this
level is easy. But until you do, this level is very difficult.
In this level it is kind of difficult unless you’ve mastered
getting full power on all of your swings. Practice this. If you can
do this with out practice, you’re a natural. Another good fact to
know is that when playing this level, try and keep all the
juggernauts near the top. The higher they are, the more points
you are going to get for the event money. There are four juggernauts
in this level. Each one slowly descends down their poles. But sometimes
one of them will have a burst of energy, and quickly descend down their
pole faster than usual. If this happens, and it will, try and notice
it before it’s too late. Also you should use that status bar where
it shows all the 4 juggernauts frequently. It’ll help keep an eye out.

Note: If you win this event the only amount of money you can
earn is between $8,000 and $9,000. This all depends on how high
the juggernauts are when the timer reaches zero.

* 3.10 The Kwik-E-Mart Doggie Dodge *

OBJECTIVE: Dodge the doggies and reach Apu and get your coffee.
SPEECH: Apu: Greeting’s valued challenger! Please allow me to
offer some advice: certain helpful canine type items left on my shelves
by disrespectful customers should be of some use to you.
While dodging doggies:
A : jump
B : use bone or bait
D-pad right or left : Run right or left
DIFFICULTY RANKING: 5, because this level is pretty easy
but you can’t get a lot of practice since it’s hard to get up to.
There are two objects that the doggies would rather have
than you. One is a bone. What you do is you wave it in front of a
dog to get its attention. Then all you need to do is throw the bone.
When you throw it the dog will chase. The second object is a slug
thing. If a dog tries to bite you, he will bite the slug thing instead.
This level is pretty straightforward so I won’t give you any detailed
instructions. Just a big tip is that when you see the doggies eating
the sausage, you have too grab on to it. So what you do is jump just
when the sausage is coming down. A good idea is to take your time. You
have no time limit, so just take your time and BE PATIENT.

beat the game twice, but I know you win a big mechanical Stegosaurus.
