statusThe Ditto Glitch can be used to far greater effect to obtain all of those. The Ditto Glitch works just like the Mew Glitch, except you fight a Ditto instead of a second trainer.(You don't have to defeat it, though.) When using it, just have a Pokemon with the correct number in its SPECIAL stat fight a Ditto and let it transform into that Pokemon:
Weedle: 112
Ekans: 108
Meowth: 77
Koffing: 55
Jynx: 72
Electabuzz: 53
Magmar: 51
Kabuto/Omanyte: 90/98
Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan: 43/44
Alakazam: 149
Gengar: 14
Machamp: 126
Pikachu/Raichu: 84/85
This should prove helpful to you. Glad I could help.
Um does pikachu have to be 84 special no more no less?
Um does pikachu have to be 84 special no more no less?
The special values are exact figures, although any Pokemon can be used to get the special stat figured required. To catch a Pikachu, the special stat for the Ditto Glitch sequence MUST be 84, and to catch Alakaam the same way, it MUST be 149.
If you're using windows, a fast way to convert the gameshark "Hex" values, is to use the Windows Calculator in Scientific mode. On the top left, there'll be several buttons. Press the one beside "HEX", and enter the Gameshark modifier. Now simply click "DEC" and you'll have an instant conversion.
Thanks gunbladelad77!
Do you have to catch a pokemon at that special or can you use one you got level up already?
You can use any you like, but you need to have a Wild Ditto transform into that specific Pokemon. as long as the Ditto was the last Pokemon you fought, you'll get the Pokemon.
The reason for this, is that when Ditto uses TRANSFORM, it copies ALL the Pokemon's stats - except HP.
