"Batman: the Joke"

INTRO
Batman is one character that has seen maybe over 50 different video game titles? Or a bit less or more, somewhere in that ball park. So we know he's not a stranger in the video game industry. The question is, is he any good? He has made a few good ones and others; they have laid an egg. When you make a lot of games, you can't expect all of them to be good; some are bound for disaster. Take this one for example, Sun Soft did a terrible job with this game. They made Batman look cheesy and lame. They should be taken out in the back and taught a lesson.

GAME PLAY
The game play gets more and more annoying as it goes along. It is so hard to control batman at times; you just wonder is it worth playing at all? When you wasted money on something, you want to try an get your dough's worth, at least you try, god knows I more then tried and gave this poor game a chance. His movement is very difficult. His jumping sequence is almost impossible, you have to jump from side to side threw out this game to make progress. Feel free to pick up this game and try the jumping for yourself, and then you can understand what I mean, it's insane. What was the developer's thinking of? Once a video game has bad controls, it becomes annoying and frustrating. This is the main reason I couldn't clear this game, and lost interest. His punching ability, is really another impossible task. You better off trying to avoid your enemies, cause your get beat up all the time and die. It's like his punch button does nothing, they will hit you every time, and when you try, it's like pointless, it misses 9 out of 10 times. It makes you want to take your game boy and throw it against the wall.

APPEARANCE
Ever hear of out of the frying pan and into the fire? That's what happens here. From bad it goes to worse. These graphics are so lame; it looks like a video game made in the 70 's. Ok maybe I'm getting carried away, so lets say the 80 's. The only reason you know who batman is, is cause you control him. The enemies, have no idea who they are, they look bad, and even worse, move bad. The Joker? Well haven't cleared this game to figure out what he looks like, and I doubt I will even clear it in the future. All this is doing is going up for sale somewhere in a local flea market. Let another poor soul be stuck with it. The sound is just as bad as the graphics. If you're going to play this game, you better play it on mute.

OVERALL
Sorry all you die hard batman fans, but I did not like this at all. I really can't see any video game player playing this game for too long. The only reason I would think of is if he or she must be a real die hard batman fan. For everyone else you should turn into a bat and fly away into the night far far away as possible from this game.
