"I like playing with Barbie dolls and all, but this game is no good."

My sister recieved Barbie Game Girl when she was a little kid when she was obsessed with Barbie. I decided to try it and to put it frankly, it sucks.

Gameplay: 1/10
I usually love side scrollers, but this one sucks. You press jump and she doesn't jump. The levels are lame. They look retarded and have really dumb themes. This has to be one of the worst side scrollers I have ever played, hell, one of the worst games I have ever played.

Story: 1/10
The story is so bad that I forgot it. Something along the lines of save the world, or maybe save the mall. I don't know, I just remember that the story is extremely lame.

Controls: 1/10
his game has the worst control ever. I swear, you push A to jump and it doesn't make Barbie jump some of the times. So you end up falling into water and losing a life. I don't see how anyone could enjoy this game. Not even little four year olds you try to be just like Barbie. Actually they will like this game, nevermind. Oh, and when she jumps, she only jumps about 6 inches off the ground! It's dumb. I'm not lying, okay?

Graphics: 5/10
The graphics aren't that bad. My only gripe is the level design and Barbie is all blurry looking when she jumps. Pretty detailed graphics for the original Game Boy though, but I just hate the level design and the blurry Barbie when she jumps

Sound: 1/10
The sound is horrible. It is dumb little tunes from a show you would see on Nick Jr. The sound effects are no good as well. I usually just mute the sound on this game though.

Difficulty: 1/10
Besides control issues this game is easy and can be beaten in no time. One of the easiest games I have encountered.

Replay Value: 1/10
After playing this game once, you will never ever want to play it again. I;m serious, it's just that bad.

Rent and/or Buy: Neither, smash it in pieces
Buy this game used at a video game store for 5 bucks and then go home. When you get home, take out a hammer and smash it to pieces. Problem solved.

Overall (Not an average!!): 1/10
The only thing half decent about this game is the graphics, and those aren't even that great. Avoid this game at all costs.
