The Ren & Stimpy Show: Veediots!

"As a kid I loved the show. Also as a kid I hated the game."

Oh my good God this game is bad. As a young and very impressionable youth I decided to buy this game that was based on one of my favorite shows, which was of course Ren and Stimpy. Well when I got home and started to play it I realized I had made a mistake. A grave mistake. That mistake was bothering my parents into buying this game for me. It's an insanely difficulty game with incredibly bad graphics and incredibly bad...everything!

Gameplay 1/10: It's so hard. So damned hard! The basic premise of the game is that you are either Ren or Stimpy and you have to navigate your way through a level based on one of their TV episodes. For little kids it sounds like a lot of fun. Even little kids will realize that this game is horrible. You have to jump over things that block your path basically. Dodge a few enemies and you're out! Too bad that doing this is nearly impossible. And don't even get me started on the time limit! As if the stages weren't hard enough! You barely make it through the level as it is. The time limit kicks in and you're virtually screwed. As for how fun it is: It's not.

Controls 1/10: You can barely make the jumps. You walks slow. The controls are terrible! It don't get much worse than this. The second stage is where the controls are especially bad. Stimpy has a very hard time jumping which basically makes the stage impossible. To be perfectly honest I only beat the stage once I think and I never finished the game. Do I blame the controls? Eh that and the horrible gameplay.

Sound 2/10: Cheesy noises play. It sounds like something straight out of the show but a hell of a lot worse. They're repetitive and dull. Especially that stupid telephone ring! It just keeps ringing and ringing! They're Nickelodeon manufactured for God's sake! In a video game! What is going on here? Noticing a pattern of how everything in this game is really bad?

Graphics 2/10: Is it just me or is this one of the worst games ever made? I'm pretty sure it's not just me. The backrounds are boring. The first stage is in a living room. A repetitive living room. You see the same things over and over. It's boring! The next stage is like a laboratory. This could look cool. Too bad it doesn't. It's pretty plain. Yeah pretty plain...

Replayability 1/10: Like I said before I never finished the game. Yet I would imagine that if you complete it once you're not going to want to play it again.

Buy or Rent? Just don't consider buying it. I don't care if you're the biggest fan of Ren and Stimpy in the entire world! Still don't buy it.

In conclusion I will say this: This is one of the worst video games EVER created. Besides my game doesn't even work anymore and I only wrote this review because I was bored. Thank you. *Bows*
