"My favorite Gameboy game of all time"

This game is really tight, I've always loved the Metroid series and i wasn't disappointed at all when i first played this Metroid title. Most Metroid fans would probably love this game when they realize how fun and challenging this game really is.

Gameplay (9/10)

The gameplay in this game is smooth. It has a challenging difficulty as you advance deeper and deeper through the planet. It has a nice learning curve and a wide variety of areas and enemies for you to be challenged by.

Story (8/10)

You're the bounty hunter known as Samus Aran, you travel to a strange planet with a very strange name, SR388. You've realized that space pirates have landed there and you're out to destroy all of them to save the universe from disaster/

Graphics (9/10)

Gee, not much graphical activity here. I mean, at this time of gameboy, it was just black and white (unless you have a color gameboy). But, the objects are easy to see and its easy to tell whatever you're doing anyway. Despite the non-color thing, this place still has a pretty high score

Audio/Music (6/10)

Blast,blast,shake,shake. Not much sound or music or sound in this department but what music they have is pretty cool. I also like the sound when the metroids are attacking you and they make cool noises. So this category is pretty decent overall.

Replayability (9/10)

The only real reason you would want to play this game again is to get a better time to see something special at the ending, but my lips are sealed ;x. But the coolness of this game will want you to keep searchin' for batteries so you can play that old gameoy game.

Buy or rent?

I dont really think you have really much of a choice to rent this game. So you should buy this game for that reason and the face that this is a great game!!

Overall (10/10)

This is a fun game with a descent challenge and a nice learning curve so you'll be playing this game for a long time so Metroid fans should go grab this nice Gameboy title.
