Game Boy Camera

Review by weasel925

"How does Nintendo do it?!?!"

This a nifty little handheld camera that you can do many different things to keep you intertained. You can take photos, edit your photos, make special effects to your photos, and play games that might not even have anything to do with your photos(but they might, you pick)

Gameplay - GameBoy Camera has a unique gameplay, there are games in the camera itself. You can edit your photos of your friends by painting them or use already programmed stamps. There is a time-lapse thing that you can set to to any number of photos it takes, and how often(always fun to see what happpend in your house while you were at school/work). There are trick lenses, too.
If you don't like taking photos, don't trash it yet, there are 4 minigames you can play, too. Space Fever II(alot like the old Galaga classic), a DJ station where you can design your own beats(rather confusing, but still.), Run Run Run(a race against a mole and bird), and juggle(the very first Game and Watch minigame). Where I am getting to is, you can have limitless fun. (10/10)

Graphics - The Graphics are totally amazing. All of the minigames are the same as they were before put on GameBoy Camera. And the pictures turn up clear, the camera is about half a second slower than the movement, so you need to be totally still when taking pictures. (8/10)

Sound - This game isn't designed for sound, but it still is pretty good. You can change the shutter sounds, and minigames have unique sounds, too. Alot is pretty annoying though, so just turn the sound down on the GameBoy. (5/10)

Replayibility - I have had this game since it came out to stores, and I am still playing it. There is never really an end to the game, 30 photos, 30 edits, printing photos, minigames, transfering photos, trick lenses that can give you a laugh, and hot spots(adds more sounds and fades in the slide show). Like I said earlier, if you don't like 1 part, you will like the other. (10/10)

Buy or rent - Don't turn this game down either way, unless you are a Nintendo/camera hater, this will give you a good time. You can buy the camera alone, which is about $30 in the US, and buy the printer for about $40, which isn't that bad for all you can do. Or rent the camera alone for 5 days, $5. With all of the fun, I say BUY
