"A Good Attempt, But Awfully Boring."

Gameplay - 3/10 -

The gameplay here was really annoying. I felt like I had no control over the game, and this, more times than none, made me stop playing. The game doesn't respond fast enough, and it's extremely hard to actually do anything. The only thing I could do was actually hit the ball. Fielding was very difficult, and this usually cost me the game.

Story - Not Applicable -

There is no story here! You just go through a regular season of baseball, and play as a team. However, the one thing I can comment on, is that there aren't any real-life teams. All of them are made-up names with made-up players. This nearly led me away from the game, but then I thought I ought to give it another chance since it could be good anyhow.

Audio and Video - 4/10 -

The Video here is worse than it could have been. The graphics are extremely pixilated, even if it is the 8-bit dot matrix Nintendo GameBoy. However, there are some cool point of views from where you're seeing the game happen. This doesn't quite out-way the part that the picture is terrible, though.
The Audio here is pretty decent. It's not really all that bad, but it could have been developed better. I liked a lot of the tunes. Some of them were even the ''classic'' baseball ones you'd think you'd here from such a game. However, I didn't like the quality as much as it could have been. Especially since the sound effects were really distracting.

Replayability - 8/10

You can easily replay this game since you can do exhibition matches with tons of combinations. That doesn't mean you'll have fun, but if you really want a sports game, and it's baseball, this is your chance. Especially since it's on a portable.

Rent or Buy - Taste-Dependent -

If you're really interested in sports games, buy it since it's easily replayable. If you're not, and you just want a feel for it, rent it. Either way, it's not so bad. But if you don't really have a thing for sports games, please don't do either. It's not worth your time. This is really only for that ''hardcore'' sports game player.

Final Thoughts -

This game is fun if you're a sports lover. Even though it doesn't have any real team names, it's still great. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good portable sports game. However,
