Legend of the River King
Review by AMorozin
"A young fisherman is sent out to find a legendary fish that can cure his sick sister."
-It's not that good. I heard of it from Nintendo Power. It's from the makers of Harvest Moon so I bought it thinking it was another masterpiece. It wasn't. It's very hard and frustrating and my raised fish always dies!!!
-This game is very difficult. But not the fun kind. The frustrating kind. By level 3 you are pulling out your hair trying to catch the fish. Practice makes perfect.
-Legend of River King GB has no humor at all. None at all.
-The game control is very complex. They really made this game hard.
-This game is a little fun. It gets frustrating at level 3 and your raised fish always dies.
-The story is good for a fishing game.
The Story:
A young fisherman is sent out by his mother to find a legendary fish that can cure his sister's deadly disease.
-The designing is great I'll tell ya that. There specific ways of catching different fish. There are towns, and even fighting. Fighting! Fighting in a fishing game! Pretty unique, huh? Also you can raise fish. And another cool feature is that if you catch every fish in the game, you open a secret area called "Fun Lake". Never been there yet, though.
-The graphics are pretty good for a GameBoy game.
-The sounds are pretty annoying. Nothing special. Pretty much useless.
-The music is pretty annoying. That's all I have to say about it.
