Kirby's Dream Land

Kirby seems to be having a hard time in video games. After recently playing Kirby 64, I wasn't thinking about another Kirby game. But, I decided to give the original a shot. Well to make a long story short, this is the worst Gameboy game I've ever played. It ranks 3 on my top 5 list of worst games ever. Thankfully, Kirby Dreamland 2 was better than this. People who think this game is good have brain damage.

Graphics(9): For a Gameboy game, their pretty good. Playing the game on GBC, backgrounds are colorful and characters are well animated. However, if a game has the most realistic looking graphics, and below average gameplay, the game can be considered a piece of junk by all means.

Sound(3): Honestly, the sound reminds me of a stuffed toy singing to me. In laymens terms, it's BABYISH! Just listening tot his horrible music makes me so agitated I want to puff the fluffy, pink puff ball!

Control(5): To determine the control, I asked my friend to pick a number between 1 and 10. There's only 2 BUTTONS! Your KIrby jumps and inhales. How am I supposed to rate control with so little detail?

Gameplay(1): When I started playing, the game wasn't half bad. After the 5th level, I really got into the game. But I soon quickly the found that the fun-filled experience was over. $25 for 5 levels. Oh but wait. Once you beat the game on easy difficulty(there's only easy difficulty sadly), you can play the same 5 levels over again, but their ''harder''. Whippde-doo. I get more fun out of counting each spec of sand at the beach! Plus, the game is so easy I feel like I'm learning the A,B,Cs all over again. I personally think the creators were too lazy and really needed the money.

Replay/Extras: As mentioned above, the 5 same levels when the game is beaten, except their harder. And when you beat those 5 levels, you get configuration mode. With sound test(I can't imagine what sounds you would want to listen to) and extra lives(as if you really need them). Enjoy!?

I probably recommend this game for my worst enemy. If a few more levels were added, the game would actually be decent. But sadly, the creators failed to meet the requirements for an intriguing game. I sold this game faster than the speed of light. Never play this game, there's no fun to gain, only money to lose.
