"A fun addition to the Zelda Library!"

This game is really fun. I got it last Christmas and it was very cheap! To prove how good this game is, you can see that is a MILLION SELLER but then agin so is Yoshi's Story (god, how did that game ever become a million seller!?!? :p). Anyway, the storyline of the Zelda Series is very different but the game is great.

GRAPHICS: 6/10
Well I can't say much about the graphics, after all this is a Gameboy game. I wasn't really impressed with this games graphics, and actually to be frank they aren't too good. For a gameboy game I know you can't expect much but these graphics really aren't anything special. They are the only downfall in the game however.

SOUND: 9/10
The great music and sound FX in this game surely make up for the poor graphics, fun to listen to tunes, and life-like sound effects. Of course they aren't anything special but for a Gameboy game I was rather impressed.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
Despite poor graphics, this is not only a fun but very challenging game. Tons of bosses and enemies to defeat, DOZENS of items to collect including weapons, seashells, items in the trading game, and many more. This game is very detailed when it comes to playing. Not only must you fend your way through mind-boggling levels, but you also must do other side quests in the game. Great Gameplay!

RE-PLAYABILITY: 8/10
Well once you beat the game once, you are going to want to play again just to finish up what you didn't before such as collecting every seashell. But if you have everything and have completed the game 100% you may not choose to play again. Anyway, you can just get the new Zelda for the GBC next Fall in 2000!

RENT/BUY:
Well, I say rent this game first. It is rather old and very long and tedious. Rent it first (they only carry it at blockbuster where I am) and see if you like it, if so be sure to add it to your collection. It isn't that much money because of it's age, but DX for the GBC might be a little more.

OVERALL: 8/10
Great gameplay and sound, the graphics could've been greatly improved but other than that the game is grrrrrrreat! :p
