Primal Rage

Review by SWriter

"Ummm, does anyone need a coaster?"

Frankly, I must say, I really wanted to get the Super NES version of this game.I mean I was DESPERATE!!!But I couldn't afford it.Sob, sob.So my friend traded me this game.Ugh.

Graphics 5/10
The backrounds are okay, but not super detailed. The sprites are kinda dull and hit detection is non-existent.What I don't like is GBC support. It sucks. The thing looks better on a regular GB.And I don't have one.

Control 6/10
You have to hold two buttons to do a special. Then do some finger-hurting motion.Combos?I got blisters doing them. But they are responsive.

Sound 3/10
Music sucks.Sound sucks. But the game on mute or you'll go insane.Next.

Gameplay 5/10
The game is fairly fun, but with only a computer to fight( and a crappy one I forgot to mention.)the gameplay can get dull. The computer is easy or hard.Too easy or too hard.Uninspiriring.

Replay Value 4/10
The computer is not fun to play. And with dull gameplay this game will get old soon.Very soon.If you play this game few and far between it'll last longer.I don't do that.I like to get sucked into a deep and intruiging game. This isn't one of them.

Overall 4/10
This game isn't worth buying.Besides, Street Fighter Alpha is on its way and I gurantee it'll be much better than this.Trust me, unless you find a REALLY good deal, don't waste any money on this poor excuse of a Game Boy game.
