"It's a kiddie game. Of course it's bad."

Well, I never liked a lot of games that went from the TV/movie theater to video game and vice-versa. This one is no exception. This game is aimed for kids, but it's still really, really, bad. Sometimes I wonder how little kids can play just horrible games.

Story: 1/10
Yakko, Wakko and Dot have decided to start a shop filled with old movie props because they are bored. Excellent. They go through each stage and defeat a boss to get the prop. Well, it's a change from the show where it's just random insanity but not much of an improvement. They often speak as if they are cartoon characters in a game, which just makes it more unrealistic. The storyline could have gone much deeper, even as a kids game. This is just something that someone could have thought up of in a minute so that there's actually a goal in the game.

Graphics: 3/10
Terrible. The game designer put so little effort into them it's heartbreaking. The graphics blur often and little white specks appear from time to time like a bird pooping on your Game Boy. The background is just one color like a bluescreen. The graphics are not very detailed. There's nothing realistic about it, or even cartoony. It's just plain old graphics that nobody cares about. The most detailed thing that I can find in the game is the rocks which are made of little gray circles smooshed in together to form one large one.

Sound/Music: 1/10
There are barely any sounds in this game, and the ones that are there are incredibly chunky or just an ordinary Gameboy beep. Nothing spectacular. This music is so darn annoying that I thought about throwing this game out the window, then but that was before I remembered that I could sell the game and make a buck out of it...but that would be paying too much. Anyway, the music is repetitive, and just downright annoying. There are about 10 pieces of music and 20 pieces of Sound. Come on, the Game Boy could do better than that. Look at Pokemon with so many different pieces of music and a sound for every attack. In this game, you hear about 2 pieces of music per stage and only sounds for attacks and exploding rocks. The music just drones on and on. The music was terrible.

Gameplay: 1/10
The gameplay is bad. The characters move so unbearable slow, and they can't run. Each of the three characters you control, Wakko, Yakko, and Dot have a special attack. Wakko uses a hammer that can light fuses (I know, it's strange), Dot charms things with little hearts and Yakko uses a paddleball. What's annoying is how Wakko and Dot's attacks have an incredible lag before the attack, but almost none in the air. It's all messed up I tell ya. All messed up. There are only 5 levels in the entire game, but then again each of them are actually difficult, which saved this pitiful gameplay from getting a 0. In the game, most of the bosses is just one dude and there little surprises on the way. Just smash some rocks and jump some spikes, and there you have most of the obstacles in the game. There are barely even any enemies.

Replayability: 0/10
No. Don't ever play this game again. And why would you want to? It's a bad game.

Rent/Buy: Rent
If you really want to play this game for whatever reason, rent it first, then see if you like it. IMO, it's not worth buying but you just might think different, though I doubt it. Just make sure you don't throw it out the window while renting the game, or you'll actually have to BUY it.

Overall: 2/10
The only thing saving this game is the difficulty. Everything else about this game really blows. I can understand that this game was made for kids, but I find it hard that they would even like it, as the levels are rather difficult for them. If you're thinking about getting this game for a child, don't unless they beg you.
