"And you thought Shinobi was hard..."

This game is a perfect example of the worst mistake in game development: accessibility. Nobody I know has even gotten close to beating this game. Everything else is just fine for a Game Boy game: catchy songs, nice controls, everything. Except for the f***ing difficulty! I invited my buddy Q*Bert to play this game and he had only one comment: @$#!. Yes, the game is that hard. And that's only the first level. The levels afterward are virtually impossible to access, or so it seems.

Story: 10/10
It's the story from empire strikes back, except with PLATFORMING SECTIONS! There are dialogue boxes that pop up that say actual lines from the movie, and if you die, Darth Vader will say stuff that WILL lower your self esteem.

Sound: 5/10
You know, the blaster sounds a lot like the real one, except extremely low-pitched. The lightsaber sounds sub-average as well.

Music: 8/10
It would be a ten, if all of the catchy, orchestrated songs weren't turned into little hunks of crap. Then why the eight? Because even if they're crappy, they bring back fond memories of the actual songs.

Control/gameplay: 2/10
This is where it fails. This game is unmasterably hard. Even with a Game Genie it's still hard. The force powers are interesting, yet most of them I don't know how to even use. Imagine a scene on Christmas morning: ''Hey Billy! I got you that cool Star Wars game!'' 3 years later... ''Billy, you're gonna be late for school!'' ''I've almost beat the second level! Oooooh...'' The controls are nice and comfortable, yet the unforgiving difficulty flushes it down the great toilet of the Video Game Industry, yet luckily pops back up.

Buy/Rent?: Rent, at the very most. This game will crush you in it's iron fists of fury. If you can beat this game, YOU ARE A GOD. If you thought Shinobi was a pushover, you'll still have an insanely tough time with this game. I know I did. I haven't even beaten the first level! My friend claimed he got to the third level, but he most likely bluffed!!!

Get this game if you are looking for the perfect challenge.
You beat this game, and I will come to your house and give you my gaming things, since obviously I would not be worthy.
YOU WOULD BE MY FREAKIN' HERO!!!! Well, it still is a collector's item, so you could scoop it up on eBay for a nice price and keep it for a few years till it can reach good prices.
