Mouse Trap Hotel

Introduction:
Mouse Trap Hotel is an old Gameboy game that was released in the early 1990‘s. it is a game where you go around playing as a mouse and you use your tail as a weapon. Sounds interesting, right? Well read on and you'll see why this game gets bored, FAST!

Game play:
The story in MTH is to save your mouse wife. I thought it was pretty good and then I got into the first level. So, I started playing along and I met my first enemy. I know you have to use your tail as a weapon, but its really short. In order to make it longer you have to snatch cheese from a mouse trap. Well, as you travel through the game you will get trampled on by human feet, attacked by a cat, shocked by electricity, and have to dodge forks, and other weird objects. As your adventure continues you will find keys, and go through an elevator to get to different floors. Well, this gets old, fast. As you progress your tail will get very long unless you die. But, the enemies are so freaking cheap in this game!It seems like they take a freaking year and a day to kill.I’m dead serious about this, it seems like they just wont freaking die! To add up the game play score it’s basically, jump, tail whip, and fight enemies.

Graphics
The Graphics in this game are so-so. I know it’s not the GBA, but man that back ground is repeated. For example, when you get into a hotel floor, you see one background. Well, I thought I’d get to see at least another background on a different floor but, I was WRONG. The enemies, which I described earlier, are pretty good, but it does get repetitive. Seeing the same feet stomp up and down is just down right boring. Seeing the same spider pop out of nowhere isn’t much fun either. The little mouse you play as is really done well for the old Gameboy. What can I say? The graphics are repetitive, and that’s sad.

Replay Value
There is NO REPLAY VALUE AT ALL IN THIS GAME.Once you beat this game, that’s it. There is absolutely nothing to do in this game once you beat it. I was shocked when I beat it in week. I was even more shocked when I couldn’t do anything else once you beat it.

Buy or Rent
Don’t even think about buying this game. It’s a waste of your hard earned money and time.
