"That laser just killed me?"

Introduction
It's been some years now, but this was one of the first games I ever played for gameboy, more than 5 years ago. As you may know, this game is based in a really famous movie from the Star Wars series, called ''Empire Strikes Back''. Now, about the game...

Gameplay
Mainly you will be controlling Luke Skywalker, who has to perform the same actions as in the movie. At the beggining he will be only able to use his blaster and his lightsaber, but as you advance in the game he will be able to start using powers from the Force (like running really fast, jumping higher or even making stronger hits with your lightsaber) by collecting some icons you can find in the levels. These levels are mainly played like a platform game, but sometimes during the games you will find other types of games... For example, there is one in which you will use Luke's X-wing to defeat some opponent Tie-fighters, and there is also one in which you will need to defeat some huge robots (I don't remember their names, sorry!) in the snow, which turns out to be quite hard when you don't know some tricks for helping you. However, since all the levels are almost the same thing, you may get easily bored of it, as it becomes really hard at the end! I know what I am talking about, since I could never finish this game! :|

Story
Exactly the same story as the movie... You will need to rescue your friends and save the galaxy, and at the same time try to learn how to use the Force, so that you stand a chance of defeating the evil Darth Vader!

Graphics/Sound
The graphics are nice for a gameboy game, as you can see everything you should quite clearly. As for the sound, I don't quite seem to remember it (hey, it's been more than 5 years now, ok?), which means that it mustn't be THAT good...

Play Time/Replayability
Since this game becomes really hard at the end, it may keep you busy for a long time. However, it doesn't have any replay value, except for trying to acquire all the Force Powers...

Final Recommendation
This game is good not only for star wars fans but also for people who want a real challenge. I'm sure you would enjoy to play it (unless you are a kid, which may find this game too difficult!), but the only problem would be finding a copy of this game by now...
