Yuu Yuu Hakusho Dai-Ni-Tama

Now that's a good one. You really want to play this game, especially if you're a Yuyu Hakusho fan. ^_^

Story 6/10
Well, story wise, it's the usual. This game follows the Toguro storyline, well in fact it's the tournament. If you read the manga or saw the anime, you know what I'm talking about.

Music/Sound 8/10
Awww, there it is, baby, there it is. I LOVE one of the musics in this game. Sure, there's only a couple of different tunes in there, but gawd do I love the main one. The title screen music is also pretty neat, but the one playing in most of the fights simply rocks. As for the sound, well it's average, but it's just fine.

Graphics 8/10
Goody good. Chars look good, backgrounds simple but look nice... heh. I never have anything to say about the graphics... for me it's such an unimportant point of the game. They're good or they're not. What else do you want me to say? Well I can tell you they are good in this one. I especially like the opening sequence, Yusuke and Toguro's heads crashing into each others, it looks real nice.

Gameplay 8/10
When I give a review a overall score, I tend to give every category within the same score for some reason. Well this is where the game shines compared to the first so called 'game'. And here you have your typical fighting game. Every char has his array of special moves, quarter circles to double half circles, it's really fun. Every char also has his own characteristics, as some of them jump higher or do more damage, according obviously, to the characteristics of the chars in the manga. You can also choose from 13 different chars. Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Genkaï, Linku, Tchuh, Zin, Shishiwakamaru, Karasu, Buhi, Toguro Jr. and Toguro(80%). In VS mode there's also a place for a 14th name, which I think it could be Toguro 100% that we could unlock. Unfortunately, I am not sure and didn't do it either. So the different modes are story mode, in which you play with one of the 5 heroes in the team, mini-games after a few levels to get hp or sp back. Then there's VS mode like stated before and a tournament mode. Challenge? So-so, but there's definitely one for Toguro. I had one hell of a blast trying to beat him, it was hard. Had to retry many times.

Overall 8/10
This game is a must-have for any Yuyu Hakusho fan, you won't be disappointed. Even though it's short, you can still play VS mode for a long time to come, with all the different chars you can use. Get the game.
