"A very addictive game that becomes old quickly"

I must say that I am one of the few it seems to have enjoyed this game very much. This game is very addictive and is a great game to play when you just need something to play. I can play this for hours at a time and have a blast.

Graphics (7.5/10) Keep in mind that these graphics are for the Gameboy so we have to be realistic. When this game came out the graphics for it were very impressive. It used some pretty cool graphics into the gameplay as well which I was quite impressed with. There is not really much else to say about the graphics to this game on the grounds that they were very basic, but they were just fine for what this game was trying to accomplish

Sound (8/10) I loved the sound on this game, for a Gameboy game the sound on this game was quite good. I loved the sound of the ball bouncing off and the different sounds of the individual blocks. This also had some cool music during bonus levels. Again for a semi-arcade game on a compact system the sounds are great.

Gameplay (7/10) This is where the game suffers a little bit. I have a great time with the gameplay of this game but there are some points of it where it is so simple that it becomes boring. You move left and right only and this is about all that you can do. There is a lot of strategy involved with these controls though, because the deflection of the ball is based on how you are moving the platform. This is of the up-most importance because you have to hit these individual blocks to be able to beat the levels and it can be quite difficult. Just a little too simple for my tastes but still challenging and enjoyable

Story (NA) Really there is no story behind this game. This is like an arcade game because it has not story but is still an effective game. So it would be unjust for me to reduce the rating of this game due to a lack of storyline

(BUY/RENT) Well the only real option here is to buy it. I would be shocked to see this game up for rental. If you find this game at a trade store consider yourself lucky and buy this game. It will be a great game when you just need something to play

Overall (7/10) I stated in the tagline that the game is addictive and gets old quickly. This is a game that is great when you want to play. It just depends on how often you get the urge to play this game that depends on how much an individual enjoys it. This game does get a little old quickly because left and right as the only real controls is just a little too simple. But this game deserves a respectable rating and deserves some respect and is definitely worth the buy if you are lucky enough to run into it.
