"Bad Game Based off a Good Cartoon"

When I was a kid, I loved Ren and Stimpy. I used to watch them on Nick every weekend (too busy watching other cartoons during the week). THQ, who usually suck at making games made a game based off the show back in 1993. It's one of the slowest, hardest games I played yet. Let's review the game.

Story: This game has a very lame story. I don't even remember it. I don't even think it had one. Story (omitted from scoring)

Sound/Music: The music was pretty lame and repetitive. It barely reminded me of the show at all, instead the producers made some generic music instead. The sound effects was lame too. Sound/Music gets a 2/10

Graphics: Well, the only thing that is good about this game are the graphics. This is what kept me from giving the game a 1. They don't look that bad, but they aren't that good either. The backgrounds is what I really didn't like. Graphics gets a 5/10

Control: This is one of the factors that messes up the game. The control is sticky at times and movement of Ren and Stimpy is very slow. Control gets a 1/10.

Game Play: Very bland and slow. This game had 8 levels (I think). You play as both Ren and Stimpy and both of them move very slow. Most of the levels are pretty repetitive and boring. Most of the levels are too challenging as well and some of them are impossible to beat without dying. And the time limit is too short. Most of the time you die before you complete the level because the time is too short. Oh, yeah, the game play basically was horrible. 1/10

Challenge:Hard This game is so hard, that it'll take you years to beat. But hey who wants to spend years beating this garbage?

Replay Value: I never, ever want to play this game again.

Buy/Rent/Forget
Even a hardcore Ren and Stimpy fan wouldn't want this game. I say forget. Don't buy this game.

Conclusion: Ren and Stimpy was a crude, yet funny cartoon to watch. Unlike today's cartoons which are all carbon copies of each other, this one was humorous. But still, the games suck. I wouldn't recommend this game to you. If only the game had better control and a longer or no time limit, then the game would of been better. Oh, well, I didn't like the game and I'm pretty sure you probably won't like it.
