"Pass the time..."

Well, of course you really can't expect too much from a basicaly free game or a built-in game, but it's still something to do! Everyone's familiar with solitaire, and you can play it almost anywhere, but it's really great to have this with you in study hall when you're bored out of your mind. It is built-in with the game.com so you realy don't have to look for it to get it, just click on the solitaire button in the main menu.

Ahhh....I can sit at my desk for nearly an hour, twidling my thumbs until I fall asleep. The first time I nod off I'll prolly smash my nose into the desk. But the second I'll just findmyself waking up when the bell rings to find myself in a puddle of drool.

Luckily I remembered my game.com today! Only having owned it for 3 days now, I have no cartridges, but HAVE discovered the mindnumming atraction of this simplistic game... Oooh, the col...oh, I mean...oh well! It does take some fidling with the contrast controll before you can make a good distinction between the red and white cards. Also, the red cards are kinda hard to see. It does also drive you crazy if you don't mute the game because every time you click a card it goes 'bonk!'.

Well, here's the stats....

Graphics:
Well, pretty good distinction between red and black cards for a black and white game platform. The graphics are a bit chinsy, but they're ok for their purpose. 5 (of 10).

Sound:
There are, I think, 4 sound efects. A car flip, a little 'bonk' sound, a shuffling sound, and the sound when you win. Oh well, really don't need many sounds, do you? 5.

Controll:
Actually, at first I found this game hard to controll. I don't think the instructions are very good in the manual for the game.com system. You don't know how to pick up multiple cards at first, and when you do, it's kindof a pain. 4.

Fun:
Yeh right, oh well, at least it passes the minutes. 6.
