Wat's up! Im Zuhayr Bundhoo, this is the forth FAQ/Walkthrough which am
writing but officially am only to the third one since one of my FAQ/
Walkthrough is not publish. Since there is a demand on the gamefaqs board to
write a walkthrough then am doing it. Feel free to email me if you find any
errors in this walkthrough and don't forget to send me feedback about how you
feel the walkthrough is whether there should be some change here or there. By
the way there is already a walkthrough by xcomp if am right and since his
walkthrough is base on the Japanese version of the game, then there are lots
of people having difficulty of following it... Without further any ado let
start the game AFTER some more reading...

A quick overview of the game directly from Atlus website:
Welcome to the strange world of Lyndbaum: a sacred land linked to four
magical dimensions, from which summoners can call forth spirits called
Guardian Beasts to do their bidding.
Wystern is one of Lyndbaum's largest cities, often called the City of Swords
because of its large population of Craftknights, who use the strength of
Guardian Beasts to forge powerful weapons.
A great tournament has begun in Wystern, a series of battles that will
determine the next of Wystern's seven Craftlords, who act as the city's
guardians and councillors. But the tournament features an unusual rule that
has everyone in Wystern abuzz: only Craftknight apprentices under the age of
18 are allowed to enter.
One of the tournament's contestants is the child of Shintetsu, a legendary
Craftlord who met a mysterious fate three years earlier. The child wants
nothing more than to win the tournament and uphold Shintetsu's legacy—but the
tournament is only the beginning of a saga that will lead to the uncovering
of Wystern's darkest secret...

The main control of the button in the game world is as follows:
D-Pad: Control your character.
A Button: Use hammer (to break crate and barrel) and also use to interact
with people in the game.
B Button: Hold B while working and you'll run.
L Button: Nothing again...
R Button: No use...
Start Button: Brings up the menu.
Select Button: Talk to your guardian beast.
That's it for the main control, next the menu interface.

So the above screen is roughly what you will get by pressing START. Here is
some detailed info which you will get by accessing each command:
Equipment: Here you can equip your main character and by pressing the L/R
Button you can also equip your guardian beast. You will see 4 slot
for your main character, 3 of which you can equip weapon and the
forth one which can be use to equip item which will enhance the
stats of your character.
Support: Your guardian beast status screen show up, the first thing on the
top you will see how much magic your guardian beast has and below
there will be 4 slot where you can equip magic and item, these item
and magic can be use during battle.
Item: Here you will find all your item which you have bought or gathered in
dungeon.
Magic: All magic available for your guardian beast will show up here.
Weapon: All weapons you can use will show up here.
Status: Status or your main character and your guardian beast (can be access
by pressing L/R Button). From you HP to your attack power for each
slot will be shown in this screen.
List: Within this command is another three command which is Technique, Event
Item and Bestiary(which will be unlocked late in the game). Technique
will show all weapon which you can forge, Event Item will list all key
item for the game and the Bestiary will list all monster which you have
encountered in the game and also there stats.
Suspend Game: Use this command if you want to quit the game, your game will
be saved and you will return to the main screen.
Apart from the above command you will also see some additional info in the
main menu screen; here they are from top to bottom:
STATUS: Your current level and after HP the first number is your current HP
and the other number show the maximum HP.
MONEY: How much Boam you have... Boam is the currency use in the game.
MATERIAL: The five materials which you will use to forge weapon are shown
here.
WEAPON: Number of weapon you have.
ITEM: Number of item you have.
EVENT ITEM: Number if event/key items you have.
PLAY TIME: Time you have sit starring at your GBA in the format HH/MM/SS.
PLACE: In the complete bottom of the screen is the place where you currently
are.

= In-Battle Interface and Control - IBIC =
==========================================
The interface first. Battle is in real-time side scrolling world... I think
you got what I wanted to tell you. n the top, you will see the HP bar of your
enemy. There will be 1-4 HP bars depending on how much monster/person you are
facing. If you are facing a human opponent then there will be and additional
green bar which show his/her weapon durability. In the bottom there will be
two bars showing your current HP and weapon durability in red and green
respectively. In the left of the bar is the current weapon equipped, you can
use the L Button to change weapon if you have equipped more than one weapon,
below the weapon icon is the is the function of the B Button. So the first
icon which represent a shield is the default B Button function which means
that when you hold B In battle your will be in guard stance. The four slots
on the right of the shield icon is the 4 slot of your guardian beast,
depending on what you equipped on your guardian beast slot these items will
show up. On the complete right you will see 5 gems like icon, these icons
show how much use of your guardian beast is left. Now let's see the
description on each button:
D-Pad: Use to control your character from, pressing the up button will make
your character jump.
A Button: Press this button to attack.
B Button: Use the equip item or magic which is selected. Pressing B
continuously will make your character shift to guard stance.
L Button: Shift weapon.
R Button: Shift item or magic.
Start button: Pause the battle.
Select Button: Nothing.
Some additional info:
- When you are knocked down in battle press the A and B Button to stand
quickly.
- When you want to flee a battle just go to one side of the screen and
continuously move to the side of the screen.
- To run tap the D-pad twice and hold.
- During battle, tap "down" twice really fast on d-pad to hop backwards. You
can attack while in midair in this hop (Thank to BugmanJames to remind me
this one).

= Forging Weapons - FGWS =
==========================
In this game, you CANNOT buy weapons but you can sell them to some people.
You can earn weapons by earning techniques. You can get techniques throughout
the game by breaking your opponents weapon, random drop from creatures, and
Bron can teach you most of it. There are only 5 types of weapons in the game
which you can forge, Sword, Axe, Spear, Knuckle, and Drill. There are roughly
180 techniques which some of them are easy and some of them are hard to
found. The full list of weapons can be found in this guide in the section of
the Weapon List(section 6.10, code WL61).
To forge a weapon, you must use the stove in your room at the Silver Guild.
First you must buy material from the shop or collect them in the labyrinth
(most common way). To convert ore into usable material you must go to your
stove and hut the A Button a menu will appear: Create Material and Create
Weapon. Select create material and select Item, then convert item that is
written “Can be used as materials” in the information area (located at the
bottom of your screen). Note that you can convert weapon into materials if
you no longer need any of them. After creating materials now you must forge
your weapon, to do this first go to your stove and select to create weapon
and then choose the type of weapon you want to forge. The first technique you
receive in the game is a sword technique, to forge it select sword then in
the technique menu select new technique and then you will ask if it is okay
then select yes. After the forging animation the weapon will be in your
weapon menu.
Now to forge elemental weapon which are better than there counterparts, you
must have mystic ore which can be found by defeating enemy like the Spell
Sword (located in level 8 of the labyrinth and deeper). Depending on which
weapon you want to forge you must use a certain number of mystic ore. Let’s
take an example to make things clear. You will forge the elemental version of
the novice knife. To do this you will need the same quantity needed to forge
the weapon and additionally you will need 2 mystic ore. First go to your
stove and choose to forge a Novice knife, if you have 2 mystic ore then you
will be asked whether to use mystic ore so choose yes. After forging the
weapon check the technique list in the menu and notice a new technique which
is the Fire Dagger (technique 2). Later in the game to forge elemental
version of powerful weapon you will need lots of mystic ore, some weapon need
up to 60 mystic ore.
NOTE: You can get the mystic ore of elemental weapon back by melting the
weapon in the stove.
NOTE: Depending on the nature of your guardian beast, some weapon can’t be
forged till late in the game by using the other guardian beast located
at level 50 of the labyrinth.

= Level Up - LLUP =
===================
Each time after a fight you will get a screen where it show you how much
experience point you earn and when the experience point hit a certain limit
then you level up, note that not only your character level up but also your
guardian beast. When you guardian beast level up he/she will have more magic
and also he/she will learn new spell. But when your character level up you
gain ability point which you must put on different stats, below is some
explanation of the stats:
Attack: Affect mainly your attacking power when you hit monster/people.
Defense: Affect your ability to guard against enemy attack and also how much
damage you will receive when you not completely block your enemy attack.
Agility: Affect you movement rate in battle this include running and jumping.
Not official information that I receive is that it also increase your
attacking power. The level of difficulty to wield a weapon is also decrease
when increasing this stats.
When you level up your HP is increase and depending on how you allocate your
ability point your HP will further increase... To get maximum HP then boost
defense and you will get lot of HP.
The blue number in the level up screen show the base increase in stats, these
now is fix as far as I know apart the HP which will increase depending on
which ability you have allocate your point.
===========================
= How to Level Up? - HLLP =
===========================
Depending on how you level up, you will need to adapt to certain style of
fighting. If you mainly focus on allocating ability point on attack then you
must try to attack as fast as possible and run away depending on the enemy
you are fighting... so to be able to “hit and run” you will also need to
increase your agility stats. This section will provide you ways to decide on
how to level up.
NOTE: Level cap is 99 and stats cap is 9999/9999.
As I’ve say above, when you level up you will allocate your ability point and
you will receive additional base point. The base point is the first guideline
that indicate you which stat you must allocate. Normally the base point will
be in the ratio of 2:2:1 which is respectively your attack, defense and
agility. So if this is the first time you are playing the game I advise you
to keep this ratio so when you level up the first time put one ability point
in attack, second time put one on defense, third- agility, 4- attack,
5-defense, and so on. The big error that beginners do is to throw the
maximum point on attack because they think one minded which is that the more
attack they the faster they will take down there enemy. If you really went to
level up your character on focusing on only one ability then follow the
guideline below:
- If you want to make your character to master the attack ability then
maintains a ratio of 5:1:3. The reason for this ration is because when you
attack your character will need sometime to recover, then the agility score
will help to quickly run away and also even if you want to master attack,
then defense will always be useful. Try not to give up increasing defense.
- If you want to make your character solid as a wall then maintain a ratio of
2:4:1. You must never forget that to beat boss you will have to attack, if
your level 50 character go against the final boss with only a lousy 75 or
less attack then don’t expect to do big damage quickly and worst is that
you HP will go down slowly and you will be finally be knocked out. Agility
is always a must to wield weapon which penalize agility.
- If you want to make your character fly and run as mad then maintain a ratio
of 2:1:6. You will note that agility base stats increases VERY slowly
compare to defense and attack. Increasing this ability will help you to
wield the hardest weapon like you are wielding a novice knife, in other
words you will be able to run fast and jump high when wielding the Thunder
Queen Axe (technique 31) which penalizes your agility by 70.
You can level up in the method you like as long as there is a certain balance
so that you don’t end up with a character which you can’t get the fullest of
his/her potential. The info above is only some basic guidelines which you can
use and you can alter any ratio to fit your style as long as there is a
balance.

or other info should be altered then email me...
NOTE: I have received an e-mail saying that I should put some guidelines on
which level should you be to beat boss X (where X is a boss name). I can’t do
that simply because the variation on the way of leveling up is too big since
each person playing the game will level his character in different way so
maybe I’ll put the level guideline later when I gather more data.

Now, the core of this document... the walkthrough. Before going further, I'm
sure that you are aware that this walkthrough is not spoiler free; There is
place where I will tell you what happen, other place where I will give brief
description of events and some other place there will be no description at
all. Concerning the labyrinth, where it is necessary I will give you detail
about the labyrinth but since each level of the labyrinth is quite easy I
will just give general direction of where you should go and maybe later I
will add a new section giving full detail on the labyrinth... In this guide
I will refer to Cleru, the boy, as my main character and Rasho as my Guardian
Beast...
SIDEQUEST NOTE, IMPORTANT: There are quest which can be done only at specific
time, when there is a sidequest note in this walkthrouh you can choose to do
it or never do it...
Now the story began, a young boy/girl is going to forge his destiny to become
like his/her father and great peril is in the road which will lead to success
and to become a Craftlord...

- 5.02 | Welcome to Wystern | WW52 -

Start a new game and choose your character (for this guide, mine is the boy).
You start in your house where your mum is waking you up and tell you that
there is an important event today... Lazy that you are you will just stay in
bed but... there is a big noise, your mum scream!!! What happened? You wake
up from bed and now you have the control of your character...
First of all do not rush to go downstairs, instead when you wake up go
straight right of your bed and go up to the drawer (whatever it is) and you
will get the entrance ticket which will grant you access to the Central
Tower. Now go downstairs, what happened??? Finally nothing, your mother have
found a small tactics to wake you up quickly afterwards she will talk with
you and she'll ask about your name enter whatever name you like (for the
guide purpose, I have let the name Cleru). Your mother will also give you
your father's lucky charm. Afterwards let's move to the Central Tower. Before
leaving to forget to get your water scooter which is on the right of your
mum, then to the Central tower.
The Central Tower is located left of your house just follow the path till
the screen freeze and show you where the Central Tower is and also you will
meet your Master Bron. Bron will show you where the silver guild is, after
the opening ceremony you will have to go there. Now enter the tower go on the
first floor (or second floor???) and enter the room in the middle top to
assist the ceremony.
In the hall you will stand in the middle left, talk to the person around you
and when they ask question answer whatever you like, for example when you
talk to the person on your right he will ask you about guardian beast answer
him that you do not have one and tell him what is a guardian beast if you
don't know what it is. For now I will skip all the talking and join you after
the ceremony... So, your dad is Shintetsu the warrior who is considered as a
hero... Now just run to the silver guild and meet Bron in the room located in
the left of the entrance.
When talking with Bron he will ask you whether you can eat with the
tournament, the two answer will lead to the same conclusion anyway.
Afterwards, Bron will show you a summoner which will summon a Guardian Beast
for you but before that he will ask you some question which will help the
summoner to determine which creature to summon. You can answer him at your
ease but if you want a specific beast just give answer as listed below, for
the purpose of this guide the guardian beast which I choose is Rasho.
To summon:
Zantek answer option 1, 1 and 1.
Rasho answer option 1, 1 and 2.
Sugar answer option 1, 2 and 1.
Kutty answer option 1, 2 and 2.
Answering in any other order will bring you the same guardian beast as
above... anyway after summoning you beast just go upstairs and enter the room
in front of you after talking to Bron. Rasho and Cleru will go for a walk to
the harbor and then tomorrow we'll meet again...

- 5.03 | Forging the First Sword | FS53 -

->SIDEQUEST: This quest must be done before fighting Chaves. Go to the house
on the back right of the shop, talk with the old man in here and he tell you
that he want a cat... Go to the harbor(north of the fountain) and talk with
the girl there. Return to the old man and tell him "At the port..." and you
will get a knuckle technique.
->SIDEQUEST: Go to the house on water in the south west of the map(use
scooter). Give the guy a matchbox and you get a spear technique.
NOTE: You can get matchbox from crate/barrel and also from gremlin in the
third level of the labyrinth.
A new day start, just when you are exiting your room Bron show up together
with an officer who gives you a Labyrinth key (Key 1), now you'll be able to
visit some first floor of the labyrinth. Bron will give you the first
technique for forging a sword!!! Isn't that great??? But what will you
exactly forge remain unknown since when you go on the technique screen it
only show a shadow and lot of ?????? you will only know more about the weapon
after you forge it... Bron will ask you whether you know about the technique
of forging weapon say that you don't remember and he'll explain to you how to
do it. Afterwards Bron will give you 300b to buy some iron ore at the shop.
The shop is the first building located on the left of the Silver Guild after
crossing the 2 small bridges, enter there and talk to the owner. He'll tell
you that all iron ore is sold out, the buyer is a girl standing on your
right. You can ask her for some iron ore or not, the result will be the same
you will leave with a piece of iron ore. Return to the Silver Guild and talk
to Bron which is in the room on the right of the stairs. After talking to
Bron he tell you that to go and get you ore by yourself in the labyrinth with
the help of the ultimate weapon... the HAMMER!!!
Go to the Central Tower and enter the door in front of you and then proceed
to the top left bottom of the room where a guy is standing, talk with him and
he'll let you enter the labyrinth, notice the green panel on the right these
are use to teleport you from one level to another. To make the teleporter
active you first hit it with the hammer and if it starts glowing green then
you know that it is active, the first teleporter is already active but not
usable since this is the only active teleporter for now. Just follow the path
and you'll meet Sanary, when she ask you question answer her in anyway you
like and you'll end up having no ore at all. Note that in dungeons you will
get random encounter with monster which you must kill for experience or run
away if you can't beat them. Don't forget to break the barrel and crate to
get your ore, chest will give you item (like bandage) or special ore. For
now you have enough ore, you can go lower but it is preferable to return to
the guild. Go to your room to forge your first weapon.
When you are in your room, you can go to the bed and press A Button to
restore HP and MP if you are low, otherwise turn your item into material
first then create your first sword from the material produced. The first
technique is the novice knife which has an overall poor stat, later I'll
make a complete list of weapon and stats but for the time being let's
continue with our game. After forging your first weapon, first Bron show up
and congratulate you for your weapon then Sanary show up and then afterwards
an officer show up and give you your first match notice, you will face
Chaves from the Gold guild... Bron tell you that you can easily take down
this guy and he then tell you to choose a technique, you can choose from
Axe, Spear, Knuckle or Drill. Choose whatever you like, from now each time
you finish forging a weapon which was given to you buy Bron you can go and
talk to him to get another technique. Before going for your first battle
don't forget to equip with your new weapon and also equip your guardian
beast, I have equip Rasho with Enchant Flare(Magic). Now let's rush to the
Central Tower.
To start your battle with Chaves just talk with the guy which is standing on
the complete top left from the entrance of the Central Tower. Chaves is very
easy to take out, but remember if you beat someone by breaking his weapon
you win the battle but also you get the technique of forging his weapon.
Chaves is more defensive than offensive so when he attack just guard and
when he stop attacking just hit him as hard as you can and there is more
chance that his weapon break than you kill him...
At night, Bron will congratulate you for your first win then you will go for
a walk, you have the option to go with Rasho at the harbor or see Sanary at
the first level of the labyrinth...

->SIDEQUEST: In the fight between Varil and Cleru at the harbor, break his
spear to get the technique then forge the spear. Go the Central Tower and go
to the second floor, from there go through the door. Go to the house which is
a little south east of the shop. Before entering the house make sure that
Varil's Spear is unequipped then talk with the girl inside and she'll
exchange the spear with a knuckle technique.
The next day, Cleru and Rasho talks about Sanary's match... It seems that
Sanary has made it to the next round. Bron came and ask Cleru to go at
Vance for selling swords, so go to the harbor which is directly north of the
fountain(the fountain is in the left hand side of the shop), when in the
harbor go north and talk with Bron and you'll be at Vance Cape. Bron will
give you the weapon which you will have to deliver to the armory. From the
harbor proceed north; the armory is just on the left of the inn. Go inside
and you will automatically talk to the shop owner, note that Bron is already
there. After the delivery Bron will tell you whether you want to explore or
return home, there is not much to see there so return home... You will get a
new sword technique upon arrival.
When you try to leave the area a man name Nigelle from the Gold Guild will
propose you to buy 10 iron saber, you can accept or reject but either way
Nigelle will tell you to take your time for the decision and if you change
your mind you can sell your weapon with him but note that this quest is a
little fishy, you will know about it later and for the time being just go and
tackle the first 8 levels of the labyrinth to gather some materials and to
level up.
Some note on the labyrinth:
- Don't forget to break barrel and crate to get materials.
- In level 2 there is 2 chests, both of them contain iron ore.
- Don't forget to activate teleporter on level 3.
You will meet Sanary at the 4 level of the labyrinth. She'll tell you that it
is not the right time to sell weapon and when she live your guardian beast
will tell you that to take the decision now you can accept or reject... but
I advise you to accept, if you want to get 5000b accept or if instead you
want to save material reject. Let's continue with the labyrinth:
- On level 4(where you met Sanary) is a blue panel, use it to restore HP and
MP.
- The only way to get mystic ore is to beat monster which is like the Spell
Sword.
- On level 4(B4F) there is a chest on the complete left of the door which
leads to level 5.
- On level 5, there is a door which leads to a room with lots of crate and
barrel at the left of the door which leads to level 6.
- On level 6, there is a door which leads to a room with lots of crate and
barrel at the left of the entrance of level 6.
- On the right of the entrance of level 6 are a teleporter which you must
activate and also a door which leads to a room with 2 chests (2 bandages).
- From the entrance of level 7 follow the path on the right, it will lead you
to some crate and barrel after you break them notice a hidden door in the
wall which will lead to a chest with a Portable Canteen.
- Use the sword to save game.
- On the level 8 on the right of the blue panel is a hidden door and further
right is another hidden door (closely examine the wall to see the hidden
wall).
- You can't go further because a guy stop you at the door that lead to level
9, for now backtrack to level 6 and use the teleporter to return to level 1
and then exit the labyrinth.
NOTE: In the left of the Central Tower is an old man which will talk to you
about Mystic ore, listen to whatever he tells you and he will give you some
Mystic Ore.
Return to your room in the Silver Guild and restore if needed. Now use all
you item to create materials use item that restore HP or that enhance stats!
After creating material now use them to create weapon, if you have the sword
technique 3(earn if you break the weapon of Chaves) then forge it otherwise
forge sword technique 4. Iron saber have more durability than Chaves sword
but Chaves Sword have more attack power and defense but it will penalize your
agility, by the way if you forge another Iron Saber and if you have mystic
ore then you will get the option to forge a more powerful sword than the Iron
Saber... forge this weapon which is more powerful than the Chave's Sword if
you can. Anyway forge the weapon that you want. And don't forget to forge 10
Iron Saber for Nigelle. After let's head to the harbor to meet Nigelle. When
you deliver the weapon to Nigelle he will give 5000b and if you reject it you
will be given the money either way. Return to the Silver Guild.
NOTE: There is a house on the right of the central tower(you will need water
scooter to access it), talk with the guy inside to get a Spear Technique.
On your way to the Silver Guild you will meet a guy, whatever now make your
way to the Silver Guild. In your room is the letter for your next match, you
will battle against Kenon. Go to the Central Tower and head to the arena,
Sanary will stop you and tell you that something strange is happening, the
Gold Guild by weapon from apprentice Silver Guild and sell then so that to
cut the reputation of Wystern. Afterwards you will have the option to recover
the weapons or "But I have a match soon!". If don't accept then Kenon will
show up and tell you that he will delay the match and if you accept just head
to the harbor, don't worry about your match either way...
At the harbor, Nigelle and Sanary are arguing but Nigelle don't want to
return the weapon since he has a deal with both Sanary and Cleru. Varil show
up and it ended upin a fight.
NOTE: If you want to complete the sidequest for this chapter you must broke
Varil's spear!!!
After the battle, if you sold the 10 Iron Sabers to Nigelle then you get it
back plus you keep all the MONEY!!! Now if you need to restore HP or MP then
return to the Silver Guild otherwise go to the Central Tower to fight Kenon.
NOTE: You must break the axe of Kenon to be able to complete future
sidequest.
If you want to kill Kenon use the Iron Saber since Kenon use axe and he is
quite slow. If you want instead to break his weapon instead use the Edge Axe
(Technique 3). You will get technique 3 with Bron. With the combination of
Edge Axe and Enchant Flare (whatever) you could easily break his weapon and
also healing spell will help you.
After the match Sanary congratulate you and Varil join up tells you that he
want to defeat you with his own made weapon. At night you will have the
option to go for a walk with Rasho at the harbor, Sanary at the labyrinth
level 1 or Varil at the park...

->SIDEQUEST: Forge Kenon’s Axe (technique 5 if you break Kenon’s weapon).
DON’T equip it. Go on the second level of Wystern then go in the house which
is completely south of the map (it is a little bit left). Exchange Kenon’s
Axe with the guy inside the house and he’ll give you a knuckle technique.
->SIDEQUEST: Go in the second level of Wystern. On the left of the Central
Tower is the Gold Guild and south of it is a house, go there. In the house a
guy will sell you a spear technique for 1000b.
The first head that you see is... Bron... so what he want? Someone name
RAAAZZZZYYY is missing!!! Let’s review, a girl name Razzy is lost in the
labyrinth and Bron want you to go there and get her plus he gives you a new
sword technique. Then let’s go to the labyrinth, if you want to forge new
weapon you can do it now otherwise we’ll meet at the labyrinth entrance.
Use the teleporter to go to level 6, from here I will give you the details in
the form of bullet points:
- As always don’t forget to break barrels and crates for item.
- Make your way to level 9.
- In level 9 there is 2 doors, the second one will lead to a chest with a
kicker potion.
- In level 10 there is no item so just skip to the next level.
- The mini stairs of the left of the level 11 entrance will leads to some
barrels and crates.
- When you see a hole your guardian beast will ask whether to enter the hole
choose not yet and then activate the teleporter. On the far right of the
teleporter is a spot where you can save game. I don’t advise you to go
lower since there is nothing to see yet. Now enter the hole.
Down the hole you will meet with a woman which start talking about a certain
person which three years ago forge the sword in this room and so on, for now
ignore her and the sword. On the left of the woman is a crack on the floor,
walk on the crack and start hitting the crack with your hammer. You’ll meet
Razzy below. There is a bed in this room so if you have to restore HP and MP
just hit the bed.
Follow Razzy, you will see a monster which is blocking the way so you’ll need
to fight it. You can easily take it down with the Iron Saber or better
weapon. Use Enchant Flare (whatever) to increase your hit power and heal when
needed with healing spell, also use spell which will reduce the creature HP.
When the creature turn away from you, you must ran away or guard, if the
creature seem to focus then ran away or jump, when it raise it foot then
guard... apart these guidelines just attack.
After the fight return to the room to restore otherwise follow Razzy. In the
next room is a kicker potion take it and talk to Razzy. Razzy will tell you
that she also takes part at the competition and her dream is to fill Wystern
with flowers... Suddenly you hear a voice, just exit the room and you will
see a ladder, climb it and Cleru thanks Sanary. Sanary give you the match
notice 3, the next fight will be between you and Razzy... how sad it is...
Now backtrack to level 11 and take the teleporter to get out of here. Now
time to fight Razzy. When you exit the labyrinth you can fight Razzy right
away or you can restore if needed.
NOTE: If you want to fulfill future sidequest, before fighting Razzy go to
the Upper Wystern and go to the house which is in the south east and talk
with the old man and he’ll tell you that his son has learn a new technique,
he also tell you to come later... Sidequest continue after Razzy fight.
Razzy is extremely fast but the advantage is that she use a knuckle which has
low durability. If you want to break her weapon (must break for future
sidequest), just equip your Iron Saber (or other best durable weapon) then in
battle just guard and her knuckle will eventually broken. If instead you want
to knock her out then you must use fast weapon like drill but axe seems to be
better (when fighting with her). Also since always jump you can use spear to
attack her when she jump, another good way to attack her is to run under her
when she jump and attack her on the back. I have broke her weapon with the
Edge axe and I have knock her out with the Iron Saber. After the fight poor
Razzy look pretty sad, now time to visit Razzy...
First go to the forth floor of Central Tower from here there is only two door
one which lead out and another which is block by someone, there is a secret
passage on the left wall just where the staircase is just take a close look
to the wall and you’ll see it... Go through it, now there are guy all over
the place if one of them sees you then you’ll be kicked out. Note that in
this room there is a door; don’t even try to get through it, its useless for
the moment. You will have to make your way to the top left of the room, first
walk straight to the top without the guard see you and from there make your
way to the left and go up the staircase. In this room there’ll be a
conversation between Razzy and Cleru. At night Bron thank you for rescuing
Razzy and you can choose where you’ll go for a walk tonight; Rasho at the
harbor, Sanary at the first level of the labyrinth, Varil at the park or
Razzy at the at the central tower.

->SIDEQUEST: Forge Razzy’s knuckle and go to the knuckle family which is
located on the complete right of the Central Tower. The house is on water, go
inside and talk with the guy which is wearing green cloth and he’ll exchange
Razzy knuckle and gives you a Spear technique.
->SIDEQUEST: Go to the second level Wystern and go to the house which is
completely south of the map (it is a little on the right). Talk with the guy
which is standing and he’ll give you a knuckle technique, this guy is the one
that the old man say was away from home. If before Razzy’s match you have not
talk with the old guy then it is most likely that you will never see the guy
standing.
A new day start and you receive a notice from an officer for your next match.
You will face the twin sisters, Ariel and Mariel. The officer also informs
you that they fight together and Mariel will act as guardian beast for Ariel.
Your guardian will ask with who you think you’ll have the next match choose
any option. The twins will visit you and they provoke you... after the twins
Bron will show up and suddenly there’s an earthquake, anyway Bron will give
you a new technique which will need a new material if you want to forge it,
it is call the Core Parts. Core Parts can be found around level 17 and deeper
of the labyrinth. Let’s go to the labyrinth, you’ll meet with Sanary at the
entrance, she will tell you to beat them and she tells you good luck. For the
labyrinth I’ll use guidelines:
- Use the teleporter to go to level 11.
- Make your way to level 12. Upon entering you’ll notice a door on the left,
you must go there. When you are in front of the door press the A Button.
- The door is lock.
- Return to level 11.
- Use teleporter to go to level 1 and exit.
You’ll meet with a woman when you go to the main room of the Central Tower.
She’ll tell you that the key to go lower in the labyrinth is with Sakuro. You
must search for Sakuro, he lives in the second level of Wystern on a house on
water right of the Central Tower.
When entering the house Cleru will talk with Sakuro. Sakuro know why you are
here and also he offers you a special training since you are unprepared to
fight the twins. You will get an option whether you want to take the training
or not but either way will lead to the same result... you will take the
training. You must first collect some material for the training from a
Craftknight who loves spear and the wife of the Craftknight who loves axes.
Sakuro will give you a Lesson Recipe which must show to the two guys above to
get the materials.
First let go to the loving spear house, it is south of Sakuro house, talk
with her and she’ll tell you that spear are great... afterwards she’ll give
you the first recipe. The axe loving guy can be found west of the house of
the spear loving girl. There is a girl with pink hairs standing on the left
of the house where the axe loving guy is. Enter the house and talk with the
woman there and she’ll gives you the second recipe. Return at the house of
Sakuro. When you talk with Sakuro he will give you a new technique (10). Go
to the Silver Guild and forge technique 10. Technique 10 is the ultra secret
rare technique use to forge... LADLE!!! Go and talk with Sakuro.
Now we continue with the SPECIAL training... next material is… spices! You
must go to a shop in lower Wystern which is still close but Sakuro tells you
that tell them he sends you and they will sell you the spices. Sakuro will
also tell you some Indian words:
- “Bill deje.” means “Can I pay?”
- “Cam kalona.” means “Give me a discount.”
- “Pata nahin” means “I don’t know.”
Now go to the lower level of Wystern and go to the shop, it is located left
of the Central Tower (more exactly left of the inn). You’ll see a guy
standing there, go and talk with him. The guy will tell you that his baking
some Naan(it’s kind of bread). Cleru will then try to talk with the guy in
there language so say “Pata nahin” and the guy will charge it to the account
of Sakuro. Go and talk to Sakuro. Now it’s time to cook some curry, Sakuro
will tell you how to cook “Curry” and then it will be up to you to cook the
whole thing. There is a pot in the back of Sakuro, go in front of it and hit
A. You’ll be given a menu on what to use just give it in the order from top
to bottom (Seafood, vegetables, water and finally spices). By the time you
were cooking, Sakuro has already run out to the Ceremony hall, so go meet him
there (located directly north in the second level of the Central Tower).
After some talkings Sakuro ask you whether you know that the tower reach deep
in the see, answer whatever you like. Sakuro will give you the key for the
twelfth level of the labyrinth.
Now to go the labyrinth and use the teleporter to go to level 11. From now...
guidelines only:
- Go to level 12 and go through the door.
- Go down the stairs.
- On level 13; left some barrels, right is a blue panel and the stairs to go
lower.
- South if the entrance of level 14 is a door which leads to 2 chests, the
stair to level 15 is on the North West.
- On the east of the entrance of level 15 is a door which leads to a room
with some barrels and crate and also a chest with a kicker potion.
- In level 16 there is a hidden wall in the north west of the room, inside
the room is 2 chests.
- In level 17, follow either the right or left path they will both lead to
the stairs to the next level.
- Activate teleporter in level 18.
- In the north east corner is a room with 3 chests, the Core Part is here.
- In the north west corner is a room with 3 chests, more material here.
- There is a blue panel in this room.
The level B18F is a dead end, now backtrack and use the teleporter to go to
level 1 and exit the labyrinth. Go to the Silver Guild and melt all the
material that you got. Forge Sword technique 8, it’ll give you Gladius. Show
Bron you new weapon and he’ll give you a new technique.
Now time for the battle with the twin. For future sidequest, you must break
Ariel drill. If you want to take Ariel down use the Gladius sword, you must
mainly defend and after she attack then you attack. Use Burst Flare(whatever)
and Storm Wind(whatever) to quickly lower her HP. If instead you want to
break her weapon use the axe, I have only break her weapon with this axe for
the moment but I’ll test with other weapon later. Use the same tactic as to
take her down but since the axe is slower than the sword, Ariel will
eventually block the attack and her weapon will be damaged.
After the harsh battle a little walk at night could only be good... So you
can choose between Rasho, Sanary, Varil, Razzy and Sakuro at the central
tower...

->SIDEQUEST: What you need to do is go to the house on water in the south
west of the map (on the water) and talk to the Female at the table, she will
swap the drill for a Spear technique, its the same house from the matchbox
sidequest at the start of the game.. (Thanks to bboy_effekt for this one)
->SIDEQUEST: Go to the dock and talk to the person standing there, then go to
lower Wystern and talk to a craftknight in the house northeast of the shop to
tell him about the man looking for cats at the port.
Another great day ahead in Wystern. Sakuro came personally to announce you
that you have move on to the semi finals, when he leave Bron show up and he
is acting oddly. He did not even notice Sakuro... Bron give you a new sword
technique, forge the new weapon when Bron leave and after forging Bron show
up again. Bron will tell you that he have got some fruit and he want to give
it to Amariss (Cleru mother if you forget), you get the option of going with
Bron or not but whatever you choose you’ll end up at Amariss house. To get
rid of Cleru, Bron and Amariss want Cleru to meet an old guy that live
somewhere in upper Wystern. To go there just enter the central tower, go to
the third level and then exit the room. Take the door on the complete left of
the tower. The old guy is at the end of the room.
The old guy will recognize that he is talking with Shintetsu son, and he
tells you that the story of Shintetsu is the story of three swords and ten
men and women. He wants you to go in the lower level of the labyrinth and
meet someone that will tell you about the story; by the way she asks you to
get some Dragon Fang ore. Now let’s go to the labyrinth. In the entrance of
the labyrinth there is a guy which is blocking the way, talk with him and
he’ll give you a bestiary that keep record of all monster that you encounter
in dungeon plus you get the ability to exchange item in link mode… Now enter
the labyrinth, since level 18 which you visited ago is a dead end then follow
the guidelines:
- Use teleporter to go to level 11 and make your way to level 12.
- Enter west door in level 12, you’ll meet again with the unknown woman.
She’ll talk about the story of Shintetsu and also tells you that she was one
of the people in the story. The story consist of a woman who open the door, a
man that fought to protect her, an Ice spirit, the woman who loved the man,
the one woman the man loved and the three swords that watched all. She ends
the story by telling you that the ore is found on the path of the door (on
her right). Now go through the door and Rasho will tell you that she spoke
with such authority. Go down the stairs and continue the quest.
- Follow the path, there will be a room with some crates and barrels.
- Go lower and you’ll find a chest with a conductor rod.
- Note that there is spell lance in lower level; they give mystic ore just
like the spell axe/swords. Killer sword gives 2 mystic ore.
- In level 20, take the west path to get some barrels and crates and use the
east path go lower.
- Hidden door on the left stairs that lead to level 21.
- Hidden on the right stairs at the entrance of level 22.
- In the north west corner of level 22 is a door which leads to 2 chests.
- Chest in the south path of the blue panel.
At the south western corner of level 23 (where the stair to level 24 is)
there is a summon creature which you must defeat. When the creature focus, go
away from him or jump (it is wiser to go away from him). When he go in the
air just make sure that he don’t hit you and when he make a front attack then
just defend. To defeat the creature you can use the Zantetsu Blade together
with the support of Enchant Flare(whatever) and lower his HP with spell
attack (like storm wind or burst flare). It will be very easy to take it
down. After the fight you’ll get the Dragon Fang ore.
Now you must backtrack to level 11 and take the teleporter to return to level
1 and exit. When you are in the level 12, the unknown woman will
congratulate you of being able to beat the summon creature. The woman will
tell you to take the western sword, and you will do it. When you exit the
labyrinth you will meet Varil which is adventuring the labyrinth. Now you
must go and talk to the old man, he will no be at home but instead when you
are at upper Wystern go south and you’ll see the old man surrounded by
soldiers. Sakuro show up and say that these are soldiers from Deigleya.
Sukuro talk with the old man and it seems that the old man is Master Rondeau
and he is higher master than Sakuro. Master Rondeau is the Craftlord of
Diamond. You will get the option of either fighting or not but one more time
your choice will be of no use since you will fight one soldier anyway. The
soldier can be taken down very easily just hit as hard as you can and he’ll
eventually ran out of HP.
After the fight Rondeau and Sakuro tells you that they have knock out the
remaining soldier and then Rondeau tells you to talk about the western sword
to Bron and leave. Amariss and Bron show up. Cleru will hand over the wertern
sword to Amariss. A night Rasho and Cleru will talk about Rondeau and you
will have to visit anyone one for whatever matter and then time to sleep...

->SIDEQUEST: Talk to the old couple in the mid Wystern where you get the new
technique with there son and you get nothing for the moment.

Razzy visit you and tells you something like was found at the dock. Let’s go
to the dock. An amnesiac man was found at the dock and Amariss is trying to
find out what happened. Amariss tell you to take the guy to her house. The
only thing that the man remembers is that there was a vortex, monsters and a
whirlpool causing swirling splashes... Everybody seems to want to go to the
island except Sanary anyway you’ll be asked whether you want to go to the
island... you can try as hard as possible to refuse to go there but you will
go anyway... Amariss will take the young man to the central tower and tells
you to talk to Bron and ask him to lend you a boat. After asking for the boat
Bron will give you the boat key and a new sword technique. By the way after
you forge the weapon that Bron told you then you can read the book on the
boat to get a new technique, additionally there is a stove on the boat so
that you can forge weapon. Before setting sail I highly recommend you to
forge the most powerful weapon you can, by powerful I mean a weapon with high
durability and attack if possible.
Now go to the port and enter the cabin of the boat. You can go on lower level
of the boat to forge weapon and get new technique, also you can save and
rest. Now set sail by going in front of the wheel and select yes to leave.
The boat will enter the vortex and you will fight a Giant Serpent. To beat
the Giant Serpent you just need to attack it with the Zentetsu swords and
heal when needed. When it fly just defend and when it attack again just
defend since you can guard against all its attack.
After the battle rest if needed. If you have the resources forge the High
Blade (technique 14) or forge any powerful weapon that you can and equip at
least 3 of your top weapons. Don’t forget to equip your Guardian beast with
spell like healing spell, weapon shield and quick move...
Now follow the path from the port. After the port screen follow the path and
go to the right corner and enter the cave. Before climbing the ladder MAKE
SURE YOU ARE PREPARE TO FACE ANYTHING!!! Climb the ladder and when you
surface up, you are arrested by some guards... When Cleru decided to fight, a
horde of soldiers show up finally you are at the mercy of the enemy. After
lot of talking you will find out that Sanary, Razzy and also Varil has been
caught, the only thing to do now is to beat the huge summon creature.
Before the strategy of beating this thing I’ll tell how to react when the
creature attack. Here:
- When the left eye of the king crabber go down then the claw will attack
from the left, quickly go to the right corner.
- When the right eye of the king crabber go down then the claw will attack
from the right, quickly go to the left corner.
- When both eyes go down, there are 2 possible attacks; first, the claw will
attack from right or left but it will be a long range attack. After it
attack down it will attack up. Secondly it will attack from the left, just
run in between the eyes, the king crabber will make 4 side attacks (left,
right, left and right).
- When his eyes glow green, quickly run in the left/right corner because he
will make a mid attack.
- When bubbles start floating in the middle just go in the left/right corner
and attack.
Above are the attacks of King Crabber. You will have to hit his eyes to make
his HP go down. BIG HINT: Hitting the left eye will make more damage!!! You
will note that if you use weapon with 75 durability or less then the they
will quickly broke, to solve this problem just cast Weapon Shield and also
cast Enchant Flare(whatever) to make your attack more powerful. Make sure
that your most powerful weapon is equipped in the first slot.
After the battle, Sanary tease you and Cleru and company exit. The mayor
shows up... you will also meet Clarie. Varil will leave and the mayor invites
you in his house. The mayor leave and so does Sanary and Razzy. You can visit
the Marine Dungeon if you want for experience and item, you will not be able
to visit it again after you leave this island. If you choose to visit it then
here are some guidelines:
- In the first level there is a chest on the left.
- Go around the water and when you are south the chest hit with your hammer
in the floor to break it. Water will start to fall in lower level. Now
proceed in lower level, use the stair which is south of the entrance.
- West of the entrance of level 2 is a chest, the stair to level 3 is
directly north from the entrance of level 2.
- In level 3 follow south path, it is the quickest way to go to level 4.
- Go to the complete west from the entrance of level 5 and break the boulder
with the hammer.
- In the complete north western corner is a chest with Black Boots which
allow you to escape quicker in battle.
Nothing more in this dungeon, backtrack to level 1 and exit. Go to the mayor
house which is right of the Marine Dungeon. When you are in front of the door
the mayor will not be home so you will have the option whether you want to
wait for him or walk around, if you have visited the area and have nothing to
do then wait. The mayor will ask you whether you know why the soldier came
there, and there is lot of talking (which I’ll skip). The mayor will give you
the Eastern sword and Cleru will return to Wystern.
Return home, Amariss will take the Eastern sword with you. Now it’s time for
a walk... choose from Rasho, Sanary, Varil, Razzy and Sakuro.

SIDEQUEST: The old couple will give you a technique, but before they do, the
old lady asks if you have a goal. If you answer yes, you tell her you're
trying to become a craftlord. If you answer no, she says you should think
more about your future. After you talk to your mother and go to sleep, you
can return. If you told her you had a goal, she'll give you the technique to
help you become a craftlord. If you told her you had no goals, she'll simply
tell you she recieved a package and you get nothing. (Thanks to Aram for this
one)
SIDEQUEST: The guy in the south of the Gold Guild will sell you an spear
technique for 5000b.
SIDEQUEST: On upper Wystern, talk with the man there and he’ll tell you that
there will be strong wind shortly and he have to notify six men about it.
Tell him whether you can inform them for him and he will tell you that notify
the 6 men and tell them to return. All the men are in the same level, just
walk around a bit and talk with them. As reward you will get a Spiked Shoes
for your effort.
The next day Sanary visit you and tells you that she has a match today she
also ask you whether you want to will attend the match answer her and there
will be an earthquake. You are told to go and see Rondeau. Go and see Rondeau
on upper Wystern (door on the left). Ureksa will show up and report about the
volcano, Rondeau will tell Ureksa to bring Cleru together with him and also
you must talk with Bron to get the ship before going to the volcano. After
talking to Bron, you’ll get a sword technique. Forge the Bastard sword
(technique 16 that you have just earned from Bron), it is a good sword with
good offence and defence power. Go to the port, before entering the port the
unknown woman will show up and tell you something concerning hero... Go to
the port and talk to Ureksa, he’ll tell you whether you know the hero of
Seijent, answer whatever you like and you will set sail.
Follow the path after arriving at Kagro volcano, Ureksa will talk with you
and tells you that he wants to go alone and hit you. When you wake up you’ll
meet with someone, depending on what you answer to Ureksa at Wystern port a
guy or girl will show up. You will have to find Ureksa. Follow the path go
north. On the next screen there will be 2 stairs, first follow the one on the
right and the portal. Follow the path and you’ll meet Chaves, he will tell
you that Lubert tell him to search for an item there but since it was a
secret then you will have to fight him.
Beat Chaves in the old manner but this time notice that he is more powerful
but he use the same weapon, if you go with him with a drill then you will
most likely break his weapon. For the time being I advise you to use drill
since this is the only weapon which I think is best to defeat him, if you use
sword then you must be very agile to beat him... After the fight Chaves run
away, anyway you got some good experience... this is good for now.
Now exit and take the other stairs and enter the portal. The stairs for next
level on the south east corner, some barrel and crates on the south. On the
next level you will meet with the guy/girl you meet near the port. You will
find out that Ureksa and Lubert are plotting for something... After the
talking between Ureksa and Lubert, Cleru will tell the whole story about
Shintetsu to the guy/girl. Now follow the path, you can go in the room where
Ureksa and Lubert were if you want to rest. Now I will continue the story
with guidelines:
- On level 3, take the north portal and follow the path to get a potion then
backtrack and take the east portal.
- On level 4 when you get the choice between 2 portal, first take the left
one which will lead you to some crate and barrels and backtrack then take
the middle one.
- When again you get the choice to choose from 2 portals, first take the left
one which lead to a chest and then backtrack and take the middle one.
- On level 5 there is a save spot, then the guy/girl will talk with Ureksa
and Lubert after some conversation you will find out that the guy/girl is
the hero of Seijent. Afterwards follow the south path.
- Before going through the bridge, make sure that you have full HP because
you are going to fight against Ureksa.
Ureksa fight with spear. If you want to break his weapon make sure you fight
him with an spear and equip spell like healing spell and enchant flare
(whatever) to make the battle easier. If instead you want to knock him down
use a sword, drill or knuckle together with enchant flare (whatever) and
other offensive spells. Ureksa is not a tough opponent at all, just make sure
you defend when he attack. After the fight Ureksa tells you that the sword
that you seek is deeper in the crater.
Let’s continue first take the stairs which is on your left. In this room take
the first portal on your right, when you come in an area with a bridge go
there and take the portal. Follow the path and you will find a blue panel
where you can restore HP/MP. Then go downstairs. In the next room when you
have the choice to take 2 portals first take the left one which lead to a
chest then backtrack and take the middle one which lead to a boss. You’ll
meet with the “hero” who is completely beaten down; there will be lot of
talking with the summoner, the hero and Cleru. You will get the option to
fight the creature or run away but either option will leads you to a fight
with Kirin.
Sword is the best to fight Kirin, just go under him and keep hitting him. If
you go under him, he will occasionally throw something like rock on you then
just defend. When he leaves the screen you must guard because there is three
possible moves that he can do. Two of the moves are offensive moves and one
of the moves will change his position to the other side of the screen. DO NOT
use enchant flare because it will lower the attack power of your weapon
instead use enchant wind. Make sure you have healing spell, weapon shield and
quick move equip because you’ll need it. Kirin is no easy boss since he has
lot of HP, so you will have to lower it slowly... After the fight you get the
northern sword. After the hero leave, Lubert will ask you to hand over the
word but when the situation was about to turn into a fight then the unknown
woman show up. She tell you to leave and you end up in Wystern port.
Now that you have return in Wystern you must return the sword back. Go to
Amariss place. Amaris will take the sword with Cleru and she tells you that
Sanary’s fight is over. Pay her a visit in the Silver Guild. Razzy tell you
that Sanary take down her opponent with one blow. At night Rasho will ask for
a walk, you get the choice between Rasho at the harbor, Sanary at the
labyrinth, Varil in the park, Razzy in the Central Tower and Sakuro in the
Central Tower.

->SIDEQUEST: Go to the bed of Bron in the Silver Guild, their is a kid with
blue hair. Talk with him an he will say that "his father likes knuckles but
now he say that he love axes, and he don´t want to go home". Go to knuckles
family talk with his father and he will ask you if you see his son, say where
he is and he will give an elemental technique. (Thanks to Kendy)
The next day, Razzy visit you. She wants you to come with her at Vance to
sell some wepons. Razzy will ask you whether you would accompany her or not,
say whatever you like you will have the task to go with her. Bron will tell
you about “a girls feeling”... the biggest question ever ask will have it
answer here... If “you don’t know that!” then choose this option otherwise
choose whatever you like then you will discover that Razzy IS a GIRL!!! After
the talking, go to the port and talk with Razzy on the ship then you’ll sail
to Vance Cape. Before leaving there will be an earthquake, then you will sail
to Vance Cape.
Deliver the weapon in the armory and Razzy will automatically talk with you.
The shop owner will tell you some past story about Bron and the owner will
also tell you about someone which has move in town... It seems that Ureksa
has settled there, when you exit the shop Ureksa will be walking out but for
the moment pay a visit to his house which is west of the shop (stairs to the
house). Razzy will be here, talk with her. The girl inside the house will
tell you to come in, the girl inside is Rumari. Rumari will tell you that she
is ill and have move from Wystern to come in Vance Cape... Razzy will talk
about Tyram and Rumari will tell you that Tyram is her sweetheart. After
Razzy and Cleru leave, Rasho will thank Rumari for not telling Cleru
anything... what is the “anything”? You will know about it later...
In the left of the house is a tower which is guarded, you can’t do anything
for now so go to the ship and with Razzy, she will tell you that a Deigleyan
ship has just left and Ureksa was on board. For now return to Wystern. Return
to the Silver Guild and give talk to Bron, Cleru will give the money to Bron.
After delivering the money, you will get a new sword technique. Go to Sakuro
house, Razzy will be there. Sakuro will warn and tell you to leave Ureksa and
all the matter alone or you will die... When you exit Sakuro’s house, Razzy
will tell you that he want to see Rumari and then she ran to the port... What
are you waiting for? Go to the port and talk with her on the ship. When you
are ready sail to Vance Cape, but before leaving Sanary tells you that she
want to join the crew. When arrive at Vance Cape, make your way to Rumari
house. In front of Rumari house, Sanary and Razzy are standing there, talk
with either one. New revelation by Sanary! Rumari a Craftlord! Sanary and
Razzy will leave and follow Ureksa after talking. Enter the house and talk
with Rumari, Cleru will suspect her of hiding something. Anyway you will get
an option to know about the reason why Ureksa is doing with Master Lubert or
the Deigleya, choose any option and head to the lighthouse. Sanary and Razzy
are captured by the soldier. Go inside the lighthouse. Make your way to level
five, we’ll meet there... note that there are no big bounty in this dungeon
anyway.
In level 5, make your way east from the entrance and then follow the path up.
You will be ambush and thrown in jail. In the jail you will meet with Razzy,
Sanary and Tyram. Tyram will tell you what Lubert and Ureksa are plotting
together then Varil show up. He has use a hidden passage to enter the jail.
You must use it to exit. In the next room restore if needed then exit. After
you exit, Tyram will talk with you then Ureksa will show up, he went to
avenge his sister because Tyram ran away from her (this is what Ureksa
believe). You will get the option to interfere or not but anyway you will
have to fight Ureksa. Try to break his weapon, it is very powerful...
Ureksa has improved since the last battle in Kagro volcano. First if you want
to break his weapon you will have to use Ariel drill (recommended) or Battle
axe or better, together with the support of Weapon shield spell (for drill),
healing spell and enchant Flare (whatever). If you use axe then don’t forget
to equip rapid move spell, it will make the battle much easier. Ureksa will
most likely jump and attack, guard when possible and attack when he defends.
His spear is powerful; a single hit from it will most likely give you a 100
points of damage. If instead you want to knock him down, equip the Zantetsu
Blade or better (Bastard sword recommended) together with the support of
offensive spells. The knock him down strategy is more easy than to break his
weapon strategy.
After the fight, the unknown woman will come and you will discover that she
is Master Kouren, the Craftlord of Ruby. Sad end for Ureksa, he will jump
from the tower... Before leaving there is one more thing to do. First return
to your jail. When you are in, notice the wall just on the left of the save
spots (the sword). Climb the wall and read the note on the wall, if you have
tried to read that before defeating Ureksa then nothing happen. Keep reading,
there will be a light flashing then Rasho will check what happened. Restore
and exit the jail by the hidden door. Go down the ladder and when you are in
the dungeon again, take the Emerald Magatama (material) in the chest and take
the stair which go UP in the complete right of the room. Make your way to
level 8 and a chest will appear if you read the diary in the jail. Inside the
chest is an Ancient Ring which increases your attack by FORTY!!! If you have
no good equipment then equips the Ancient ring. Now nothing more just exit by
using the stairs to go to level one.
In the entrance of the lighthouse, Razzy, Sanary and Varil will wait for you.
Someone will need to inform Rumari about the death of Ureksa. Choose any
option that you want. After your choice, everybody will meet at the port.
Tyram will choose to stay with Rumari and you will also discover that
Sanary’s sister is Kouren... everybody will return to Wystern.
At Wystern, when you return, night has already fall. Cleru will decide to go
for a walk so you have the option between Rasho on the port, Sanary at the
labyrinth, Varil in the park, Razzy in the Central Tower and Sakuro in
Central Tower...

->SIDEQUEST: After talking to Sakuro about attacking the Deigleyans go and
talk to the wife of the Axe Fanatic then lend her an ear. You get nothing for
the moment. (Need to be check, email me if it works for you.)
->SIDEQUEST: After talking to Sakuro about attacking the Deigleyans. Forge
Drill technique 18 and give the Terra Rotor to the Drill Fanatic. You will
get a new technique. (Thanks to Chad for confirmation)
->SIDEQUEST: After talking to Sakuro about attacking the Deigleyans. Go to
the port and talk to the two cats on the crates, then go talk to the elderly
man in the house of the Cat Fanatics to tell him about what his cat is doing.
You get a new technique.
In the morning, Sakuro visit you. Sakuro want you to go with him with some
training, it’s about the Daigalyan plot. You will get an option to go with
Sakuro but one more time your decision do not matter since you will go with
him. Sakuro will give the Labyrinth Key 4 which opens up to level 33 of the
labyrinth. Talk to Bron before going anywhere and you will get a sword
technique. You can go in the labyrinth to get some materials and experience
before going to the port or you can go directly to the port and talk with
Sakuro. I highly recommend that you go to the deepest level of the labyrinth
for now and then forge some good weapon before leaving Wystern. Don’t forget
that if you want to go lower in the labyrinth, you must first go to level 12
then use the door on the complete west and then follow the path to go deeper.
I will skip the labyrinth for now and I’ll continue with the storyline.
Before leaving, try to forge at least 3 Gozanto (technique 20, obtained from
Bron) or 2 Gozanto and an axe (technique 14 will be very useful), it will
help you much in the forthcoming situation. Go to the port and talk with
Sakuro, you will leave to Fort Minea. Sakuro will tell you the reason why he
wants to go there. Varil will join the crew before leaving. Before arriving
to the fort, the guard will spot the boat; Sakuro will order Varil and Cleru
to jump off board and to swim to the fort. You will have to do it.
First thing to do when you arrive, go through the door directly north from
you. Since the fort contain no big bounty, I will just skip them. Now follow
the guidelines below:
- Go through the door with a green arrow.
- Go through the next door with a green arrow.
- Again go through the door with a green arrow.
- Go through the door with a red arrow.
- Go through the RED door mark with a T like symbol.
Follow the path inside and you will meet Varil. After the talking, continue
following the path, I’ll meet you outside this room. Continue following the
path. Guidelines:
- Go through the door with a green arrow in the east.
- Go through the door with a T symbol and follow the path.
- Go through the door with a green arrow on the west.
- Go through the door with a green arrow on the east.
- Save spot on the west, go through the door with a T Symbol.
- The stairs is in the north east corner.
- Restore in level 9, follow the path and meet Varil again.
Lubert will be talking with the soldiers and they discover you. After talking
with Lubert, he will run away and you will have to fight a soldier, too
easy... just hit as hard as you can. After the fight, soldiers will be coming
from the door and you will have to find an exit. Simply go on the west where
you are standing and use the pipe to go down. You will go on the first level
of the fort in a small room with a save spot. SAVE, the fight ahead will be
tough. When you exit you will fight Lubert and *something* more. If you want
to break Lubert weapon then equip an axe or a good drill otherwise equip the
best 3 weapons you have with high durability. Equip healing spell, quick
move, weapon shield and an offensive spell if you wish. If you have the
Gozanto then equip it... Now exit the room and follow the right path. The
path will be blocked and Lubert will show up. After talking with him, you
will have to fight him.
Lubert can easily be taken down with the use of the Gonzato sword. You will
need to guard when he attack and attack after he attack, I think it is clear.
If you want to break his weapon instead then it will be more difficult. The
best, I think, Marshal Axe (technique 14). The technique 14 have high
durability, it will not only help you to beat Lubert but also the *thing*.
The problem is that Lubert will be very quick compare to your speed so in
battle just cast the quick move spell and then attack him, eventually he will
defend. Also when he attacks, defend... the durability of his weapon will
fall and his weapon will break. BEFORE knocking down or breaking his weapon
make sure that you use the healing spell if you are low in life. Don’t use
too much quick move or weapon shield in this battle because the next one will
be tough.
After the fight, Sakuro came and Rasho sense that there is something that he
knows in the box. Sakuro also seems to know the contecnt of the box. Lubert
will explain that a small part of the fire spirit is inside the box. The
small piece was hear for experimentation purposes. Suddenly a roar comes from
the crate. Lubert seems to have been killed when the something falls on him
and the crate which contains the small piece of the flame spirit broke. Time
to fight the *something* I told you earlier.
Parista is very slow; this will help you much here. When the fight begin, use
the healing spell if needed then equip the Gonzato swords if you have it then
cast the weapon shield spell. If you do not have the Gonzato then equip the
fastest weapon which you have. Just attack him when possible and try not to
end up in the corner of the screen, if it happens then Parista will block the
way and he’ll knock you down. The moves of Parista are as follows:
- When his back glows red then just defend, he will attack using fire.
- When his face disappear then run as far as possible, a mouth will appear in
his belly and crouch.
- When he attack using his tongue just defend.
I think that you can easily take him down together with the support of weapon
shield and quick move. After the fight, everybody will return to Wystern. At
night it will be time to go for a walk. ***BE CAREFUL***, your choice will
influence the person which will visit you the next day AND the person who
will stand at your side in the end! You will have the choice between Rasho at
the port, Sanary in the labyrinth, Varil at the park, Razzy in the Central
Tower and Sakuro at the Central Tower...

In this section all question which I have been ask, insteresting or is in the
gamefaqs board will be posted here.
Q1: Where is the house in the north from which someone is lecturing?
A : Even I don't know!!!
Q2: Where can I get more iron ore?
A : I you think that Iron ore is the only material use to forge weapon then
you are completely wrong. Try using item like bottomless cup, martial
ore, broken fan,... you will see the result.
Q3: How to beat the boss on level 100?
A : 3 weapons with high durability, healing spell, sword armor spell and lot
of patience.
Q4: Your English S***?
A : Help me to correct errors in this guide otherwise don't bother me again.
Q5: I know something that you don't know, interested?
A : Am always interested in adding content in my guide.
Q6: What is the thing about the Guardian Beast at level 50 of the labyrinth?
A : The guardian beast is name Kuhyra and you can swap it with your guardian
beast after you beat the game, it allow you to forge all weapon which
your guardian beast could not forge.
Q7: What is agility and what is its importance in the game?
A : Agility is the stat that determines your overall speed. Many people make
'pure agility' characters for fun, but in a normal playthrough it, while
not completely useless, isn't a very important stat. It allows you to
jump higher as well along with increasing your running speed.
Q8: I can't find monster # 38 to finish my bestiary. Help?
A : Monster #38, Marmarion is an often missed monster. It is located on
floors 27-28 of the Labyrinth.
Q9: I broke [weapon] in the Arena and didn't get it. Help?
A : Unlike in the main story, the Arena does not award you with the technique
if you break said weapon. It will only give you a technique (completely
randomly) if you clear it in less then...2'20? I need confirmations on
this.
Q10: Certain guardian beast is useless! I don't need to use his spell at all!
A : As you advance through the game, the Guardian Beast becomes very
essential to gameplay. Its main spell that it specializes in can help
in ending battles quickly. Another useful skill is Enchant [Element].
It can increase your damage output later on by more then 300 damage,
making battles a lot easier. Astral Guard and Healing are also useful
ones, the former to lessen damage and the latter to save your ass.
