History:
______________________________________________________________________________

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.0:
    -First print.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.1:
-Fixed a typo in the copyright section.
-Updated info in the List and the Secrets sections.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.2: (Took less than a few hours to notice more mistakes.)
    -Fixed more typos.
-Added White Only Giga-chips I ignorantly forgot earlier.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.3:
    -Made an FAQ section.
-Fixed a mistake on a price in the listings.
-Made some various updates in a few sections.
-Made a few additions to my "Contact Me" section in response to some
emails whose authors didn't pay enough attention. No need to be sorry,
just don't do it again. ^_^
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.4:
    -Just fixing more silly mistakes.
-Added reference to a recent virus infection due to someone not following
my rules. Which I'm not the least bit happy about. -_- (I have to check
my friggin' email every day to clean out my mailbox so I'll still get
the important emails... Which happens to be something I'm doing for YOU.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.5:
-Well, I finally had to do it. I had to change my email. Whoever is
responsible, thank you kindly for screwing me over, I really appreciate
it. Anyways, it's updated in the Contact Me section.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FINAL Version:
-I'm really just doing some tidying up here. I hope this will be my last
update for this FAQ, at least for a while.

Part One: Introduction *P01*
==============================================================================

I made this guide, thinking that it would be useful. I can't imagine how long
it will take for someone to tell me it wasn't worth a damn. *CRINGE*

Anyways, I often hear questions about the Ordering system, so I just put as
much info about it in here as I could. Hope it helps someone.

As you know, the Ordering System becomes available after the DesertMan
scenario. This guide will attempt to explain how it works, and what you can
get through it.

Part Two: The Obligatory Legal This and That *P02*
==============================================================================

Yes, obnoxious as it is, I put this stuff pretty close to the top... That way,
there's no excuse for not seeing it.

Part Three: FAQ *P03*
==============================================================================

Q: How does the See Library function work?
A: You and your friend's library are compared with one another's... Any data
in one's library that isn't in the others is added, partially. The entry
appears in green, and there will be no picture. (For PA Memo, the combo for
the PA in question is not displayed.) However, when you go to the Chip
Order, they will appear in red in the top of the list, and you can try and
order them, if they are available and you can pay the price.

Q: Can I compare libraries and buy ANY chip?
A: Well, no. You can't buy a few Mega and all Giga chips unless you put one in
   a Chip Trader.

Q: I used some chips with EnrgChng, and I want them back! They were good, too.
   Will they be recycled?
A: Yes, indeed, they will. Any chip you use with EnrgChng will be recycled.
Which means you can get back that Fountain you used by mistake.

Q: I just compared libraries with a friend, who had the version of this game
opposite mine, and when I did, the entries for Giga Chips 1-5 appeared.
How is that possible... His 1-5 are different from mine!
A: Obviously, I worded that one myself. @_@ At any rate, if you DO happen to
see this kind of situation, whoever you received this data from is a
CHEATER. Explaining would be complicated and uneccessary, just know that
your friend has used a code to get a complete library, probably so he
could get some chips he wants.

Q: Where can I find <chip>?
A: Look, folks, I don't have the time or energy to answer every bloody email
that I get about this game. This FAQ has one subject. Chip Ordering. No
other. If you have a question, either look in a related FAQ or refer to the
boards. I will no longer answer ANY emails not directly related to the
subject matter of my FAQ, and to expect me to is ludicrous.

==============================================================================
Part Four: Basics *P04*
==============================================================================

After the DesertMan Scenario, go to Higsby's shop. Higs will have the "Chip
Order" option when you talk to him in his store. The chip ordering system is
very useful... Once you have a chip in your Library, it becomes available
through ordering. (There are some exceptions to this, explained later.) Using
the system will aid you in making a kick-butt folder, if used correctly.

To see what codes a chip can be ordered in, refer to Part Six.

==============================================================================
Part Five: Recycling *P05*
==============================================================================

Somewhere along the line, you will no doubt start telling yourself, "I sure do
wish I could buy more than one of each chip from Higs." Well, don't fret...
The recycling system is here to help.

It works fairly simply. Normally, you can only buy one of each chip through
ordering. To make more of a chip available, all you have to do is throw a
chip of the same ID into a chip trader... In other words, to get one more
Slasher B, put a Slasher of any code in a chip trader, and go back to Higs...
Another Slasher B will be available!

This can be very useful for getting more chips neccessary for PAs or combos.
Some notable examples are the sword chips involved in Deux and 2xHero,
500Barr, EverCrse, and HyperRat. One of the better combos this is useful for
is DarkAura+Snctuary... You can buy a Snctuary in A code once you have it,
and can put the Snctuary C you find in the game into a trader and go buy
another in A.

Also, you may notice that some chips aren't available for purchase even though
you've never bought one from him... A few Mega-Class chips and ALL Giga-Class
chips are like this. To get those, simply throw one of those chips in...
Though, the only purpose I can think of for this would be to get the MstrStyl
chips in * code.

The only chips other than those select Megas and Gigas that you can't normally
order are the Virus Chips. Because you can only get one of each, it may not
make sense to put any of them into a chip trader. However, this could be a
mistake, and you may miss out on something... Putting them in a trader and
then ordering them may remove their somewhat awkward codes and replace them
with better ones. For example, you can put Mettaur T into a trader. Then, you
can buy it back in Higs's shop - in a different code!

By recylcing, you, in a sense, never really lose a chip forever... Though you
may lose the code it was in.

Part Seven: Tips and Tricks *P07*
==============================================================================

Here are some various tips, tricks, and otherwise that involve the Chip Order
system.

Recycling:

If you run around looking for chips or something in ACDC 1, you'll probably
come out with quite a few Cannons, ShockWavs, and Guards. You can put these
into the chip trader, but you didn't get what you want. What do you do? Go
back and get more chips? Not hardly. All you need is plenty of money, and
you're set.

Go to the Chip Order and buy as many Guard as you can... They're dirt-cheap
(100z), and you may have dozens if you were just trying to get BugFrags. Then,
you can put them back into the trader!

See Library:

In the Communications Menu, you have an option called "See Library." This can
be very useful... It allows you to add whatever entries in a friend's library
that aren't in your own, and vice-versa! This can be very useful for getting
a full Standard Library.

Hades Folders:

Each of the folders in Hades during the N1 Grand Prix has something in it you
may not have in your folder. For this reason, it may be a good idea to try and
get every folder on Hades possible before selecting and keeping one.

Shorten trade for ZeusHmmr:

Once you have GrabBack in your Library, you can shorten a very LONG trade for
a ZeusHmmr. All you need to do is buy a GrabBack K from Higs and take it to
Hades Isle after beating Alpha. Go into the special battle room (the rooms
with special environments) farthest to the left... Jennifer from N1 is there,
looking for the GrabBack K, which she will give you a ZeusHmmr Z for!

Virus Chips:

Some of the codes that the Virus Chips come back in after recycling are WAY
better for folder-building than the ones you get them in.

Mettaur: Comes back in L, useful for folders with EverCrse.
Bunny: Comes back in B, useful for folders with DeuxHero and 2xHero.
Spikey: Comes back in G, useful for folders with GtsShoot.
Swordy: Comes back in S, useful for folders with MomQuake or that have
        Serenade.
Jelly: Comes back in E... Way better than Y, in general. Y does fit with
       JapanMan, though.
Mushy: Comes back in C, useful for folders with HyperRat.
Momogra: Comes back in R, useful for folders with BigHeart. Although, G code
it comes in may be useful, as well.
KillrEye: Comes back in E, better than K, unless you have a PrixPowr folder
          with KingManV5 in it.
Scuttlst: Comes back in M, great for folders with BodyGard. *WHOO!*

==============================================================================
Part Eight: Next Time, "Contact Me," or, "Send Me Spam and Die!" *P08*
==============================================================================

Alright, every guide needs to have one... Here are some ground rules:

#1: Don't email me with typos. Unless it's confusing, I don't wanna hear it.
#2: Don't email me with complaints. I don't wanna hear it.
#3: Don't send me spam. Spam=Bad. Spam+Me=Hopping Mad.
#4: I'm an antisocial jerk, so don't email me asking to be pals or something
like that. My email is for questions pertaining to games only. Which does
not mean that I want you asking me about Pokemon, either.
#5: Grammar, if you please. I won't waste my time reading an email that looks
    like this:

hey dude you got a price worng on yur ordr lizt man.

Sorry, not gonna roll. This, on the other hand:

Hey, you have a price wrong on your Chip Order List. Just thought I'd let
    you know.

That'll slide just fine. The following guidelines will help you make an
    appropriate email:

#1: Proper capitalization is a must.
#2: I don't like letters without punctuation.
#3: Please, no weird abbreviations aside from the universal ones like "LOL,
    LMAO, etc."
#4: No weird intentional misspellings. AT ALL.
#5: No big urgent looking type... Life will go on without you getting that
chip you need in less than 24 hours.
#6: I officially refuse to read emails with no subject. There's more than
enough reasons to justify this that I don't feel the least bit bad
    about it.
#7: I'm also not going to answer questions that don't directly relate to this
or any other FAQ I write. Don't ask me how to beat this boss or get that
chip. There are other FAQ's for that.

Also, don't add me to your address book... The last thing I need is a damn
virus plagueing me because some idiot wasn't careful enough with his emails.
If you want to send me money (yeah, right), then go ahead... Otherwise, do and
DIE.

Lastly, don't send me hatemail. I thrive off the ignorance that drives someone
to write such gibberish... I made a public fool out of some idiot who didn't
like my attitude. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. You'll only hurt
yourself if you bother me with your little-bitty flames.

If you would like to inform me of a major indescrepancy in my guide, or maybe
confirm something, my email is:

*DO NOT EMAIL ME UNLESS YOU HAVE READ AND WILL COMPLY WITH ABOVE RULES*
rockmanxSP@yahoo.com
*DO NOT EMAIL ME UNLESS YOU HAVE READ AND WILL COMPLY WITH ABOVE RULES*

Thank you!

Part Nine: Special Thanks *P09*
==============================================================================

Thanks to Capcom for making and maintaining Megaman for the decade-and-a-half
he has managed to stay alive.

Thanks to Keiji Inafune for sticking with his creation.

Thanks to all of the guys on the message boards at GameFAQs with their
incessant questions... Without you, I would have never gotten on my lazy butt
to write this thing.

Thanks to strong will, for keeping me up til 2:00 AM doing something that
doesn't benefit me at all.

And lastly, thanks to my awful short attention span! Umm... What was I doing
again?
