This FAQ might spoil some parts of the game regardless that I tried to
write it spoiler free.

started on the second... Revised the Viruses section, and Terminals
section... I'm just trying to get this on GameFAQs right now...
v1.1: 2/2/2004: Started FAQ on this day... A bit slow I had tons of
Trig homework... Anyways, this version is just meant to be a rough
draft for what's coming up... I got up to #16 on the first section of
the Walkthru. Has a Shop section, virus section, terminal section, FAQ
section... classified section, creds and everything else. I'm still
going to expand on this more later. But soon later. (expect massive
update when it comes out in US) later....

Well anyways, if you read my MMBN3 FAQ you'll notice the layout is
similar... Well because I just deleted everything off of the MMBN3 FAQ.
Enough about that
I figured I wrote FAQ for MMBN2, MMBN3, it would only make sense
I make one for MMBN4. This is among my favorite game series and I know
it is yours also. (Otherwise you wouldn't be reading this)

1. Start off by getting your PET from the computer desk...
2. Go down stairs and talk to your mother and jack into the oven using
the R button.
3. Another one of those classical yet annoying tutorial battles with a
number for Mettuars starts. Shouldn't be a problem.
*new to this game is the "counter hit" attribute. This is similar to
the MMBN3's counter but in this game you paralyze your opponents
4. After that you will go "Recover Batch" hunting. Talk to your father
and get 500z allowance for it. Head upstairs and jack into your
computer.
5. To get thru this area quickly just follow the Blue Road
6. Keeping alive GMD in battles will award you assorted goodies as said
in "Battle GMD"

7. You will meet a Purple Navi in ACDC 3 that will sell you the
"Recover Batch" for 500z. Jack out and head back to father.
8. Go around and talk to everyone and rendezvous back. You'll obviously
notice the layout of the town has changed since the last games... which
is sort of odd...
9. You will start off in the Town looking for the Electronics Shop.
Head to the next area.
10. Talk to the girls just around the corner to the south and then
jack-in
AREA: Stereo

11. Talk around and then Lan decides to jack out for now... and then
talk to Mayl and Yai
12. After that small talk head west to another new area. Learn of a
tournament
13. Jack back into the Stereo to find ShadeMan!
14. Head back home and Jack into ACDC area follow the carcasses. Meet
up with ShadeMan. Get mail. Get Yai's PassCode.
15. Follow ShadeMan to Town 1
AREA: Town 1

Battle GMD: Tornado T

16. You should wind up back into Town 1 after you visit Town 2 and
enter a PURPLE warp in Town 1 leading you to ShadeMan. Jack out head
for Town by metro
17. Head to the area where you found out about the tournament. You will
find it is blocked. Talk to the scientist. Head back one area and open
the fence to the left.
18. Up the stairs and across the side of the building. You can't
continue on so go back to the Stereo Terminal and talk to the green
navi.
*Battle:
Normal Navi
19. Win the Earphones. Ok now it is safe for you to go back to the area
so go back!
20. Go around the Tower and jack into it.
AREA: Radio Tower 1
Viruses: Mettuar, Birii, Perumero
Panel: Normal
BMD: 700z, RegUP2, Spreadgun M
21. In order to get past this part, talk to the green program and get
the "Activation Data A". Go to the contraption in the center to
activate the sonar. You get 10 seconds to find bats. You need three
bats.
22. After you get the bats, talk to the program to open up the door.
AREA: Radio Tower 2
Viruses: Mettuar, Birii, Spikey1
Panel: Missing, one on each side.
BMD: BugFrag, HPMemory, LongSword S
23. In this area you will have to talk to the green program again and
get "Activation Data B". Once you do that do what you did in the last
area and catch FOUR bats this time. After the cut scene, head to the
lower part of the tower and examine the control panel thingy.
24. After the cut scene, head to the lower part of the tower, save,
examine the control panel thingy.
::BOSS ONE::
ShadeMan.EXE HP: 500
Shadow- ShadeMan turns into a shadow doing zero damage when you attack
him.
*Strategy: Nothing you can do here. Just keep attacking until the
battle stops.
25. After the little battle you get the "Unknown Data".
26. Head to Higby's shop. Cut scene. MAIL. Get Dex's PassCode.
27. Just go home already and sleep! If you want hang around, train,
earn some cash, chips, etc. Oh, and unlock those Cubes sometime with
those Passcodes you have.

~W02. Tournament START!/

1. Wake up head to Town where the guy said would be the start of the
tourney.
2. Get "JyoumonCode". Head one area back and jack into the Plasma TVs.
Ooohhhh... Plaaazmaaa...

GMD: 300z, 500z, 600z

3. Go to Town 3. If you get lost, just stick to the left wall of
MegaMan and you will make it to Town 3.

GMD: 500z, BugFrag, CopyDamage *

4. You will eventually come around to a square area with a navi
standing in the center who will ask for a name entry. Enter anything
you want... Jack out
5. Go back and talk to the Torney guy again. You will be given 3 jobs
to do. Let's start with the top most blonde guy.
6. Head to ACDC 2 and talk to a purple navi walking up and down near
the PMD.
7. Go to Town 2 on the lower section. You will see a green navi
slightly hiding under the upper section. Use the red warp to the wester
part of the area to talk to it.
8. Head to the overpass area on the building in Town. On the left side
of the building id a billboard where you can actually jack-in! (so go
ahead and do so!)
9. You will see a bunch of cute little Mettuars and an evil navi. So
talk to the navi. Get "Experiment Data". Battle starts...
*Battle:
Spikeyx2, Heal Navi
10. Shouldn't too hard... Give the "Experiment Data" back to the blonde
guy.
11. Now let's tackle the Scientist. He just wants bugs. One is on the
tree closest to the golden squirrel in ACDC and the other is the white
stuffed bear in Yai's house. Now just hand them over to the guy...
12. Now for the woman... She will quiz you. The question translated
from Japanese is "What do you call when standing on a tree looking
sideways?" Answer: Parent, the second choice. Makes no sense? Because
you aren't Japanese. The quiz refers to the kanji symbol and is a
little memory aid for learning the kanji.
13. You will now fight some battles
*Battle 1: Mettuar x2, Mettuar EX
*Battle 2: Spikey x2
*Battle 3: Mettuar EX, Birii, Boomer
14. After that, talk to the Tourney guy again. Head to the Densan Dome
via metro.
15. Ok, go to the little door on the west side of the building. Once
inside, just go up the stairs... and talk to the guy in the following
room. He will show you the tournament brackets:
