Silent Hill Play Novel: Cybil Scenario FAQ FAQ

Notes: Some non-crucial choices have been 
left out, I will add them later when the 
translation is complete. (Game has only been 
released in Japanese.) To get all the endings 
it's enough to just know whether to choose A, 
B or C though. More details to follow.

Version notes: I've noticed that some of the
endings are so similar it's easy to confuse them,
however, if anything at all was different I 
have counted it as a separate ending in this
FAQ. I've added more info and text wherever
something interesting has been translated.
Next version I hope to add more text to the 
choices that haven't yet been translated.
Coming soon: a more detailed plot guide and
probably a Harry scenario walkthrough.

Section 1: Cybil Scenario:

Coming to Silent Hill:
Cybil came to Silent Hill from Brahms, a 
neighboring town, because the phones were 
dead and all communication with Silent Hill had 
been somehow cut off. She gets a call asking 
her to check it and and see what is going on. 
On the way, she sees a girl standing in the 
middle of the road. Cybil crashes her 
motorcycle and wanders into the town on foot.

Cybil arrives in town in the early morning. She 
can't find anyone, and wanders into a cafe. 
A man is passed out on the bench. 
When he awakens, she finds that his name 
is Harry Mason. He's a tourist, and he can't 
find his 7 year old daughter. He's determined 
to look for her, so Cybil gives him a gun in case 
it is dangerous.

A: Go to 1a 
B: go to 1a

1a:  She leaves to have a look 
around and hears a dog growling menacingly

A: the dog attacks. Go to section 2a.

She decides to go to the local police 
station on the other side of town. 
The police station is deserted.

of town. Harry is there, and when 
he hears someone come up behind 
him, he draws his gun.

She 
dials a phone number 
written on a slip of paper. 38*2647* 
(dial the stars also). She then returns 
to the cafe to find Harry. He is headed to 
the school. Cybil follows him. She walks
through the halls and comes to stairs.

Cheryl crouching in the music room. 
Not knowing where Harry is, she 
returns again to the cafe and sees 
a large birdlike monster.

Cybil leaves the cafe and stops at the 
church, where she meets Dahlia Gillespie.
She leaves after talking with her.

the bench while Cybil keeps watch 
and waits to see if Harry finds them.

Later Cheryl runs off again. Cybil 
finds a ragdoll and ends up in the 
Amusement park, where she meets 
Harry. Her body is taken over by 
some sort of evil parasite and she 
attacks Harry. He shoots her but 
not fatally, then runs away. 

Cybil struggles to her feet. 
She comes to a hallway
with a metal floor.

7b:
She leaves Cheryl on the bench. Cybil 
finds a ragdoll and ends up in the 
Amusement park, where she meets

something catches her attention.

But it's only Cybil. He doesn't hit her.
They leave together 
and meet Dahlia Gilllespie 
at the church. They continue to 
the hospital, then split up.
 Here Cybil must solve 
a puzzle to open a door by 
matching the plates with the pictures
 underneath. When she gets through
the door, Cybil sees Harry lying motionless
on the floor of the hallway.

END1:
Cybil takes the door to the stairs. 
They seem to go on forever. She can't see
anything and is feeling along the wall with
her good hand, her other hand on her 
wounded rib. Eventually she comes to 
some strange rooms in the basement with
metal floors. She takes another door and ends up in 
an area with metal grate floors and flames
everywhere. Dahlia and Alessa are there. 
She is able to leave and sees an 
apparition of Cheryl at the cafe.
THE END.

END2:
She goes down the steps and leaves.
She continues to the cemetery, 
where she sees a woman in white 
standing in a group of black-clad cultists
standing around 6 freshly dug graves.. 
She can remember this cemetery, it's where
her grandparents are buried. 
She sees a gravestones that reads, 
"Cybil Bennett." What is this? Could
she be dead?
THE END.

END3:
Cybil meets Alessa in the hallway and 
attempts to fight her mano a mano. 
Bad idea, if you don't have supernatural 
powers. THE END.

END4: 
Cybil continues and ends up in 
an area with metal grate floors and flames
everywhere. 
THE END.

END5:
(black screen with text)
THE END

END6: 
Cybil continues and ends up in 
an area with metal grate floors and flames
everywhere. She collapses. Someone is
pointing a gun at her.
THE END.

END7: Cybil sees a girl in the water. 
She rescues her. It is Alessa. Cheryl and
Alessa disappear. Cybil goes to a strange
elevator and encounters a puddle of 
disgusting green slime. She 
comes to an area with 
a metal floor and sees Alessa. She 
continues down a long set of steps...
THE END.

END8: Cybil sees Cheryl and a young boy 
on the wall near the aqueduct. The boy 
falls in and Cybil cannot save him. She 
continues to a strange elevator and finds 
a filthy doll. She comes to an area with 
a metal floor and sees Alessa. She 
continues down a long set of steps...
THE END.
