This FAQ/Walkthrough was made While playing MegaMan Battle Network 5: Team
ProtoMan for the Game Boy Advance. In an effort to keep the walkthrough as
spoiler free as possible, I very rarely mention anything story related.
I also very rarely mention green mystery data, because where they appear and
what they contain is alost always semi-random.
Are you looking for a specific key item, navi cust program, etc.? If so do a
Ctrl+F search using the items name. There's a good chance when/where you can
find whatever it is you're looking for somewhere in the walkthrough. If your
search turns up no results, check to make sure you have the name correct. A
lot of the names were abbreviated and I've used them as they appear in the
game. The abbreviated names of key items can be found in the key items section,
the abbreviated names of navi cust programs can be found in the navi customizer
section, the abbreviated names of powerup programs can be found... well you get
the idea. If your search still turns up no results, then I probably never found
or don't know where to find whatever it is you're looking for, sorry.

MegaMan Battle Network 5: Team ProtoMan. The "ROBBED!" section contains
spoilers for this game.
The year is 200x...
It is the network age, made possible by the rapid
advancements of the Internet and other
communications technology, and everyone
has a portable handset called a PET
(Personal Terminal).
WHAT IS A PET?
Similar to an evolved cellular
phone in appearance, PETs are
equipped with both phone and
email capabilities, and can also double as textbooks
and newspapers, making them a very convenient
accessory for modern life. On top of that, inside each
PET is a humanoid AI program called Net Navi, which
can perform all sorts of tasks on the network for its
human owner.
VIRUS BUSTING
The network society... the world is a very convenient
place to live in, but things aren't always perfect,
thanks to rampant computer viruses. To protect
themselves against these viruses, people equip their
Net Navis with battle data programs called Battle
Chips, and have their Net Navis fight the viruses
directly. This is called Virus Busting.

The first game in the series, Battle Network 1
pits you in an intense battle against the evil secret
society, WWW. Through Lan and his friends' efforts,
all hacking is rooted out, but in the end, the evil Dr.
Wily, the mastermind behind the terror, disappears!

With WWW eliminated, players go up against
Gospel, the evil Net Mafia and the newest threat.
Lan and company infiltrate and overthrow Gospel,
and in the process find an evil mastermind secretly
running things behind the scenes!

This exciting third game in the series pits you
against the resurrected Dr. Wily. In a desperate
battle, Lan and friends uncover the truth about
the "Great Disaster" and its restricted data.

This fourth chapter in the series, released in two
different versions, has Lan vying to win the
tournament to prove himself the best Net Battler
in the world. While top opponents battle for the
championship, a secret organization lurks behind
the scenes!
ROBBED!
It's been a month since the battle with Nebula,
the Dark Chip Syndicate - a battle for the fate
of the earth itself. Today Lan and his friends are
visiting Lan's father in the research lab at the
Department of Science. Lan's father has
exciting news.
Just before Dr. Hikari shares his big news,
a mysterious group of Navis appears out of nowhere
and takes over the internet! Even the lab's own
computers are hacked, and all systems shut down!
Amid the chaos, suddenly sleeping gas is hurled
into the lab. One person after another drops
to the ground, including Lan's father.
Luckily Lan is off to the side when the sleeping gas
goes off, and manages to hold on to consciousness
for a while longer. Lying there in a groggy state, Lan
sees Dr. Regal, leader of Nebula, towering over the
unconscious bodies. So Regal is alive after all!
"...Well, well, Dr. Hikari...."
"Master Regal, what about his friends?"
"Confiscate their PETs. Without them, they'll be
helpless anyway."
After stealing everyone's PETs, Regal rushes out of the
Department of Science. And this is the last thing Lan
sees before finally succumbing to the sleeping gas.

After the opening scene Megaman tell you to check your e-mail. It's from a
magazine that provides "tips and info designed to help Netbattlers get up to
speed!". After reading the email or not exit Lan's room and speak to his
mother. Then return to Lan's room and Jack into his computer. Move MegaMan one
step forward to trigger three back to back tutorial type battles. They are
tutorial battles so naturally they're a piece of cake. After the three battles
continue forward and step on the warp pad which takes us to ACDC Area 1.

Continue along the green path. The third blue area contains blue mystery data
which when accessed gives you a MiniEnrg subchip. The Navi on the fourth blue
area is a SubChipDealer. Continue on and speak to Roll. Moving along the green
path, you'll find another blue area with mystery data, it conceals 800 Zennys.
Continue to follow the green path and you'll reach ACDC Area 2.

You'll notice two blue paths as you move on. The top one has mystery data
which conceals a BlkBomb R battlechip, but you need an unlocker to get it. If
you're up to earning 4,000 Zenny now you can buy an unlocker from the
SubChipDealer we just saw in ACDC Area 1. Or you can come back later. Either
way move on and you'll come to another blue path with mystery data that gives
you a CopyDmg * battlechip. Continue along the green path and you'll find
GutsMan and Glide whom you should speak to. We're prevented from moving further
along the green path so follow the blue one. There's a NetDealer there and a
warp pad which leads to our destination, the KitchenComp. Check out the shop
and then step on the warp pad.
Simply walk forward once in the KitchenComp and speak to the Pink Navi to
finish the errand. Now controlling Lan, enter the kitchen and speak to his mom.
Then exit the house.

Now outside Jack into the doghouse. There's blue mystery data at the top right.
Examine it to reveal the RegUp2 powerup program which increases your regular
memory by 2 MB. Jackout of the DogHouseComp and enter Mayl's house which is
right next to Lan's. Speak to her and then Jack into her comp. Access the two
mystery data in there for a EnergBom P batttlechip and a MiniEnrg subchip, and
then Jack out. Next enter Dex's house which is behind Lan's. Speak to Dex and
then Jack into his PC. Access the two mystery datas for a RegUp1 powerup
program and a HP Memry powerup program. Then examine the Battle BBS which has
13 new posts to be read. After reading them all Jack out and exit Dex's house.
The guy in the lab coat above Dex's house is a SubChipDealer if you want to
take a look and or buy something. It's always a good idea to have an Untrap
subchip just incase. Next enter Yai's House which is next to the SubChipDealer.
Speak to Yai, turn on the climate control system behind her, and then jack into
her PC. Access the blue mystery data for a RegUp2 powerup program. There's also
purple mystery data which you need an unlocker for. It contains a CannBall C
battlechip so if you're up to earning 4,000z so you can unlock it, go for it.
There's also a Chat BBS with 7 new posts. Read them all, then jack out, and
exit Yai's house. Head to the tree behind Mayl's house and jack into it. At the
top right of the treecomp you'll find blue mystery data which holds a HP Memry
powerup program. After getting it jack out and all that's left to do is head
for the Metroline Station which triggers a brief cut scene. When you regain
control of Lan we'll be in front of SciLab.

The man up the first flight of stairs is a SubChipDealer. There's also statue
that looks like Dr. Light. I know what you're thinking but no we can't jack
into the drink machine. Proceed up the next flight of stairs but don't go too
close to the door yet. Doing so triggers a cut scene which we don't want to do
yet. Walk up to the top chip sculpture and jack into it. In the very middle is
a HP Memry powerup program. Get it, jack out, and now head for the door. Now
inside SciLab walk up the stairs and Jack into the info terminal. There are
two mystery datas here to be accessed. One at the lower right which conceals a
SeaSeed * battlechip and one at the top left which conceals 1 bugfrag. After
getting both, jackout and go up the two flights of stairs. Search the garbage
can to find a Regup1 powerup program. Then enter the elevator to trigger a cut
scene. After it we'll be in control of MegaMan on Lan's HP. Walk forward and
enter ACDC Area 1. Our destination is the platform where we found GutsMan and
Glide earlier. When you're ready speak to the Evil Navi there to trigger an
easy battle against three viruses. After the battle and a brief cutscene we're
back in control of Lan.
Exit Lan's room, speak to his mom, and then exit the house. Before heading for
SciLab check the new post on Yai's Chat BBS. Then head to the Metroline and
speak to Mayl to receive the Roll R battlechip and the MaylCode key item. Jack
into Mayl's comp and unlock her security cube. The head back to SciLab via the
Metroline Station.
Enter SciLab to trigger a cut scene. Go to and examine the door leading to the
main system. Next go to the Lab where everybody was knocked out earlier.
In here you'll find Lan's Dad's PC. Examine it to get the Dad's ID key item.
Before heading to the main system jack into the PC while you're there. Access
the blue mystery data at the top right for RegUp2 powerup program. There's
also purple mystery data on the top left which you need an unlocker for. It
contains a BugFix H battlechip so get it if it's worth 4,000 Zennys to you.
Now head for the main system and jack into it.

Move along the linear path and you'll find a program. Speak to it and then
rearrange the numbers in front of you so they read: 762. Afterwards continue
on and you'll have a choice of two directions. First follow the path on the
lower left of the screen to reach a blue mystery data which holds a Thunder P
battlechip. After getting it, backtrack and take the other path where we'll
find another program. Speak to it and then rearrange the letters to read as
follows: NAP. Move along and after a short distance you'll have a choice of
following a path toward the upper-right of the screen and toward the
lower-left. Take the lower-left one first to find blue mystery data which
conceals an HP Memry powerup program. Then take the upper-right path to find
two programs and six letters to be rearranged. Rearrange them so the three
letters on the left read as "OWL" and the three on the right read as "RAT".
Follow the left path and step on the pink button. Then take the right path
which takes us to MainComp2.

Key Items: WorkMemo
Move along and you'll find two programs and 8 letters to be rearranged.
Rearrange them so the four letters on the left read as "DOCK" and the three on
the right read as "HALL". Follow the right path and step on the pink button.
Then follow the left path and you'll eventually come to 3 programs and 9
letters to be rearranged. Rearrange them so the three letters on the left read
as "HIP", the three in the middle as "TOE", and three on the right as "ARM".
Step on the pink buttons on the left and right sides and then proceed up the
middle path. Before stepping on the arrows, search the area above it for
mystery data which holds FullEnrg subchip. After getting it ride the next two
groups of arrow panels but not the lone third one. Move on and you'll come to
mystery data which conceals a Spreader E battlechip. Keep moving and when you
reach the next program it triggers a brief cut scene. After it you'll be in
control of Lan. Go back to Dad's Lab and search the table between the two sofas
to find the WorkMemo key item. The memo says the data order is "5 3 2 1 4."
When you regain control of MegaMan, arrange the numbers in that order. You may
want to replenish MegaMan's HP before moving forward. Doing so triggers a cut
scene after which is our first boss fight.
After defeating our opponent we'll be in control of Lan. Enter the innermost
room of SciLab to trigger another cut scene. After it return to ACDC Town.
Go to Lan's room, examine his bed, and choose to go to sleep.

When we regain control we'll be in the ACDC park. First off read your new
e-mail. Then head to Mayl's and jack into her PC. Speak to one of the programs
there to Link Lan's PC to her's and to receive the MaylBanr key item. Jack out
and head to Yai's. Jack into her comp and speak to the program near the BBS to
receive the YaiCode key item. While there read the eight new posts on the BBS
and unlock Yai's security cube. Jack out and head over to SciLab via the
Metroline Station. Go up the first flight of stairs and buy the DrkSword Z
battlechip from the old man there. Return to ACDC Town, Jack into the net and
head for ACDC Area 3.

The first program you see upon entering will let you replay the liberation
mission we just finished if you want. You can earn more BlizMan chips and get
any of the other rewards including ones you many have missed. When your ready
to continue proceed along until you have a choice two directions. First take
the right path and locate a warp pad which takes you the FurnaceComp. At the
top left you'll find mystery data which holds an HP Memry powerup program. And
at the top right you'll find mystery data which holds a RegUp1 powerup program.
After getting them backtrack and take the left path this time. It leads to the
end of ACDC Area 3 where you'll find a program. Speak to it to trigger a cut
scene.

When we regain control we'll be in Lan's room. First off check the new e-mail.
It contains the DexCode key item. Then head over to Dex's PC and jack into it.
Speak to one of the programs their to Link Dex's HP to Lan's and receive the
DexBannr key item. While there also unlock Dex's security cube and then jack
out. Then head to the Metroline Station and approach Dex, Yai, and Mayl to
trigger a cut scene.
When you regain control we'll be on Oran Isle. Head down to the beach to
trigger another cut scene. After it check your new e-mail. Then go upstairs

Move forward a little upon entering and then take the path to the right to
find a blue mystery data which holds a Quake1 A battlechip. Continue on and
you'll have a choice of two directions. Head left which takes us to Oran
Area2. Move on and you'll find a blue mystery data which holds a Vulcan2 C
battlechip. Get it and then search the rest of the area for green mystery data
if you want. Then backtrack to Area1 and head Right. Search under the second
overpass to find a purple mystery data which holds a Snake M battlechip.
Continue right and go up the stairs when you reach them. If you take the exit
to the right it will lead to a familiar area. Go up the next flight of stairs
when you're ready to continue. Head left and check out the NetDealer. Continue
left and follow the path to trigger a cut scene.

When we regain control we'll be back outside as Lan. Go down the stairs to the
right and search the corner where the two walls meet for the FishLine key item.
The head back up the stairs and search the bamboo to receive the Bamboo key
item. Return to the beach and search the waterfall for the Worm key item. Speak
to Dex and then head upstairs. Go to the top of the screen to trigger a cut
scene. When you regain control search the wood to the right for the key item
Board. Go upstairs and search the pile of grass for the DryGrass key item. Also
search the dead tree for the Twig key item. Then go back down to the beach and
speak to Dex to trigger another cut scene. When you regain control check your
new e-mail which contains a Navi Customizer. After the tutorial head upstairs
and enter the newly opened path to trigger another cut scene. After it search
the wheelbarrow to the right for a RegUp1 powerup program. Enter the mine
through the ground entrance. Find the elevator and turn it on to ride it up.
Examine the door and then ride the elevator back down. Take the path leading
up to the left of the mines entrance and jack into the speaker on the outside
ledge. Speak to the Navi there and buy the MineKey. Then return to the door.
Unlock it and search the crates to the right for an HP Memry powerup program.
Then follow the left path outside and enter the next door as well. Find a door
in this part of the mine and examine it to trigger a battle against Viruses.
There's a cut scene after winning the battle. After it head outside past the
now open door. Then go upstairs and enter the door there. Find another door in
this area of the mine and examine it to trigger a battle. After it there's
another cut scene. When you regain control head out through the newly opened
door. Move on, enter the first door you see, and jack into the AirFilterCmp.
Search the top left for blue mystery data which holds a Tornado R battlechip
and then jack out. Go back outside, head upstairs and enter the door there.
Examine the door in this area to trigger another battle. There's another cut
scene after the battle. After it continue on, ride the elevator down and enter
the door there to trigger yet another cut scene. When we regain control we'll
be in DrillComp1.

for a RockCube * battlechip. Move on and you'll have to ride down a conveyor
belt. You'll have to smash a boulder at the end to get off. Move on and
you'll reach the drill's control system. Examine it to trigger a cut scene.
After it move on and jack into the next drill comp.

You'll have to run up a conveyor belt while smashing boulders. The top exit
off the belt is blocked by a boulder. Smash it and access the blue mystery
data to receive HP+100 navicust program. Put the new program in your navi
customizer. Then ride the conveyor belt and get off the next exit. Move on
and you'll have to ride down another conveyor belt and smash a boulder at the
end to get off. Ignore the boulder for now and run up the next conveyor belt.
Speak to the program when you get off to receive the StopKey key item. The
backtrack smash the next two boulders, and head left to find a blue mystery
data which holds a FullEnrg subchip. Move along and you'll come to another
conveyor belt. To get up this one you'll have to run from side to side. At the
end you'll find the system that stops the conveyor belt. Use the StopKey on it
and then return to the previously impassable conveyor belt. It now has no
boulders coming down it so simply run up it. At the end you'll find the
drill's control system which will trigger a cut scene when examined. After
the scene move on and jack into the next drill comp.

You'll have to run across six conveyor belts while they drop boulders. After
reaching the other side and moving on you'll have to run up a conveyor belt.
Then run across the next one to reach blue mystery data which holds a HP Memry
powerup program. Then ride down the conveyor belt, punch a boulder at the next
exit and get off. Run up the next one and punch the boulder at the top to get
off. Move on and you'll have to run across two conveyor belts. Then you'll
have to ride down one. The next conveyor belt we'll have to make our way up by
running from side to side. Check the second side for a blue mystery data which
holds a LongSwrd S battlechip. Then continue to the next side and use the
StopKey on the system there to stop the boulders. Then simply run up the
conveyor belt and get off the end. Approach the navi in front of the drill's
control system to trigger a boss battle. After defeating the Navi we'll be in
control of Lan.
Head past the fourth comp into the next area and ride the elevator down.
Simply move on until another cut scene is triggered. When we regain control
we'll be in the ElctLockComp. Walk forward and examine the blinking machine to

take us to SciLab2. Proceed to the entrance to SciLab3 three and you'll see a
GyroMan battle image. Examine it and defeat it if you want to receive a GyroMan
G battlechip. Then enter SciLab3, if you want you can replay the last
liberation mission by speaking to the gold program. Proceed through SciLab3.

After checking out the merchandise, proceed to SciLab4. At the bottom left of
the area is a female navi that will sell you the DarkWide T battlechip for 1000
Zennys. After getting it take the right most path to it's end to find a blue
mystery data which holds the MegFldr1 navicust program. After getting it head
to the top area and speak to the navi there to trigger a battle. After
defeating the viruses we'll receive the SciKey key item. Now we have the key to
that blue gate. Enter the warp pad in the middle of this area which takes us to

comp is a warp pad which takes us to Oran Area2. After taking the warp go
upstairs and examine the blue gate to open it.
Then enter End Area1. Head down the first set of stairs. To the right is a
purple mystery data which holds the Collect navicust program. Also at the
bottom right there is an invisible path. At the end of the path you'll find an
evil navi who will sell you the DarkDril D battlechip for 3000 zennys. When
you're ready to continue, go back up and head down the next set of stairs. At
the bottom left of this area is a NetDealer.

SciLab to speak with Chaud. Afterwards head to Oran Isle and speak with Tesla
to receive the Invite key item. Then head home to Lan's room and go to sleep.

When Lan awakens head over to the SciLab docks. Speak with the man next to the
ship and then enter it. There'll be a cut scene after entering. After it you
may want to use the new chip trader which is just to the left. When you're
ready to continue head out onto the deck. Jack into the NetBattleCmp which is a
few steps to the right. Get the blue mystery data at the bottom right which
holds a HP+50 navicust program, then jack out. There's a subchip dealer on the
deck if you're interested. Next speak to the guy in the blue and black and
answer "yes" to him, at which point he'll give you clues and the StmpCard key
item. The first stamp is just to the right, examine the mermaid to find it.
Next head back to the first area and examine the sofa across from the mirror to
find another stamp. Then head up the stairs on the deck and enter the bridge.
Examine the ship's wheel to find the last stamp. Now that we have all three
stamps, return to and speak with the guy in the blue and black to receive 1000
Zennys and to trigger a cut scene. After it head to the engine room which is
through the door at the left end of the first area. Examine the door and enter
the security code: 1 1 9 2 2 9 1 1. Enter the door and jack into the RadarComp
at the end. There's blue mystery data at the top left which holds the SpinWhit
key item. Get it and then enter the warp pad to the right which takes us to the
AirConComp. Run straight up the middle and you'll find a blue mystery data
which holds the Battery navicust program. Get it the enter the next warp pad
which takes us to the ScrewComp. Move slightly forward to find a blue mystery
data which holds a RegUP2 powerup program. Continue up the middle and enter the
next warp pad which takes us to the EngineComp. There is mystery data here but
won't be able to get it yet. Moving forward triggers a cut scene, after which
we'll be outside. When we regain control, jack back in and run back to the
EngineComp. Run straight up the middle to find mystery data which holds a
SubMemry powerup program. Jack out after getting it and head to the party. Head
over to the food table first and jack into the wine case. At the top left
there's blue mystery data which holds a RegUP3 powerup program. And at the top
right there's a purple mystery data which holds a Lance C battlechip. Next jack
out and head up on stage. We can jack into the ViewComp which is that cone
shaped thing but there's no reason to now. There's only one blue mystery data
in there and ProtoMan won't pick it up. So speak to the guy on stage now to
trigger a cut scene. When we regain control examine the three mirrors in the
room. When given the option choose "It's the mirror!" and then choose "The
reflection!". Next head down to the engine room. There's a ladder on the end of
the wall. Examine it to head out to the deck. Enter the bridge to trigger a cut
scene, after which we'll be in ShipComp1.

Speak to the program for some useful info. Then move forward and head down
the first ramp. Follow the path and make sure to get any air bubbles you see
on the way. Apparently Navi's breath air... The first blue mystery data you
find along the way ProtoMan won't pick up so we'll have to come back for it
later. The second one contains the ShipKey key item. After getting it step on
the flashing panel just below to be warped back up. Unlock the first CyberHatch
and then I recommend jacking out and then back in to replenish any HP you've
lost. Continue along the path and go down the next ramp. Make your way along
the underwater path. The first blue mystery data we reach holds a RegUP3
powerup program. And the second contains another ShipKey. Step on the flashing
panel and use the key to unlock the CyberHatch. You may want to jack out and
back in again now depending on how much HP you have. Continue on to ShipComp2.

The door here requires three keys. Head downstairs and we have three directions
to choose from. Take the bottom left path first. Follow the path to the end to
find ShipKeyA. Step on the flashy panel after getting it and then take the
bottom right path. This one is tricky, you have to time it just right to get
past the bubbles. At the end of this path is a blue mystery data which holds
ShipKeyB. After getting it and stepping on the flashy panel, it's time to take
the final path. At the end of the path there's a ramp leading up and a path
below it. The path below has blue mystery data which holds a GrasSeed A
battlechip. Up the ramp we'll find a mystery data which holds the last key.
After getting both step on the flashy panel and unlock the cyberhatch. Up
ahead lies ShipComp3. You may want to jack out and in again before proceeding.

The cyberhatch here requires one key. You can see it's location just below and
to the left. Go down the ramp and head right. Get the blue mystery data which
holds an ExpMemry powerup program and then let the bubble blow you across. Keep
making your way left while running and letting bubbles blow you across
platforms. After running past the top left area, there are bubbles which will
blow you to an isolated platform with a blue mystery data. Get it for an
Attck+1 navicust program. Then let the bubbles blow you back. Afterwards we'll
have to head below and let the bubbles blow you to the right. Then get blow one
more time to reach the mystery data which holds the ShipKey. Step on the flashy
panel and use the key but don't move forward yet. Doing so triggers a boss
battle so saving before hand is a good idea. When you're ready, take on the
boss. After winning there will be a cut scene.

into the speaker. Then make your way through End Area1. When you reach the
area where MegaMan was encountered earlier there will be a cut scene. After it

Head over to SciLab and go up to "Dad's Lab". There will be a brief cut scene
on the way there. After it enter the lab and examine the system in there. Then
exit SciLab and speak to Raika who is near the entrance to the docks. After
speaking to him head back to the lab and approach the system to trigger another
cut scene, during which you'll receive the GpsLetter key item. Next go back to
ACDC Town and enter Lan's house. Examine the dog house through the window
behind the kitchen table to find a message. Our next destination is Oran Isle.
Enter the mine area and make your way to the air flirtation system. Jack into
it and we'll be in the AirFilterCmp. Speak to the program at the top right for
a clue, then examine corner panel at the top right to receive the MemData key
item. Afterwards go to the newly accessible End City via the metroline station.
Go down the stairs where we'll find a SubChip Dealer and a statue. Examine the
statue to find out it can be jacked into, doing so takes us to End Area2. Head
up the next flight of stairs and examine the pamphlets to find a SubMemry
powerup program. Then speak to Raika to trigger a cut scene. Afterwards try to
enter the castle and then speak with the man in the blue suit. Then go
downstairs and jack into the statue. Make your way through End Area3. When we
reach the stairs leading down to that control system there will be a cut scene.
After the scene jack out and speak with the man in the blue suit again. Then
enter the castle. Move forward and jack into the black armor. At the bottom
left there blue mystery data which holds a HP+100 navicust program. Jack out
after getting it and search the orange armor at the end to find a RegUP1
powerup program. Next head over to the silver helmet and jack into it. At the
bottom left there is a blue mystery data which holds a MegEnBom C battlechip.
There's also one at the top right which holds a RegUP2 powerup program. Jack
out after getting them and proceed into the next room. Jack into the brown
katana on the right. At the top left there is a blue mystery data which holds a
HP Memry powerup program. Jack out after getting it and proceed upstairs to the
third floor. Jack into the statue of the man sitting down which takes us to the
GargCastleHP. Speak to a program inside to link this home page with Lan's and
to receive the CasBannr key item. There's also a BBS with fourteen posts to
read. Jack out after reading them and head outside and go to the roof. Examine
the gold gargoyle on the right to receive the OldKey and TextData key items.
Also search the left Gargoyle from the back side to receive a HP Memry
powerup program. That's it for this area for now so let's make our way back to
ACDC Town. There's a chip order system in Higsby's shop now, speak to Nanako if
you want to check it out. When you're ready to continue jack into the net and
head to ACDC Area3. Find a blue and orange Navi and speak to him. From that
Navi search one square down and three right to reveal a door. Enter the door to
trigger a cut scene. Afterwards speak to everyone in town including the dog to
trigger another cut scene. When we regain control speak to each of the six evil
Navis and defeat them, after which there will be another scene. When we regain
control jack out and speak with Chaud over at SciLab. After speaking with Chaud
go home and sleep.

the statue and accept the challenge to receive the WoodSwrd key item. Then move
on to start the minigame. You have to win in order to move the statue that is
blocking our way. After winning the minigame make your way up to the roof to
trigger a cut scene. After the scene go up the roof and jack into GargoylComp1.

Speak to the program upon entering for some valuable info. Go up the left path
and make the red ninja follow you. Then cross the first trap. Move on while
making sure a white ninja is following you. Right after passing the blue ninja,
head right and follow the path to its end to find a blue mystery data which
holds a Speed+1 navicust program. The backtrack and head left to cross the
second trap. Move on and speak to the next program for some info. Continue on
but do not pick up the blue ninja yet. Have the white ninja follow you and walk
around the square to trade him for the blue ninja. Then run past the red ninja
at which point he'll trade places with the blue one. Simply turn around and
pick up the blue one as we make our way right. Trade the blue for the next
white. Then go around the square to pick up the blue ninja again and move onto
the trap. Move on and pick up the red ninja. When you reach the blue one, swap
him with the red, then go around the square and pick up the red again. Then move
forward trading the red for white and follow the left path. At it's end there
is a blue mystery data which holds a HP Memry powerup program. Backtrack, swap
the white for the red, and follow the top right path to the trap. Then simply
move on to GargoylComp2.

Move on and pick up the white ninja. Follow the path to a and trade the white
ninja for the red. Backtrack and move past the blue ninja at which point they
will swap. Go around again to pick up the red again. Move past the white to

pick up the two red ninjas. Step on the arrow panel and continue on while
avoiding other ninjas. When you get to the next white ninja walk past him to
find a blue mystery data which holds a HP+100 navicust program. Then backtrack
and go back and forth till we have two red ninjas again. Step on the arrow
panel to the right without the ninja in front, and make your way to the trap
while avoiding the other ninjas. Continue on to and for the next we need two
blue ninjas. Pick up the blue ninja you see and then trade him for the white
one. Follow the top path past a red and then another white ninja. Continue on
and the white ninja will disarm a trap for you. Pick up the blue mystery data
past the trap for a HP Memry powerup program. Then head right and pick up the
blue ninja. Backtrack past the red ninja and step on the arrow panel. Then
take the path to the right leading to another red ninja. Circle around and
trade one of our red for a blue. Then step on the arrow panel and trade the
other red for the other blue one. Then simply make your way to the trap and
move on to GargoylComp3.

Take the left path to its end and pick up the ninja. Then backtrack while
avoiding the other ninjas and step on the arrow panel. Swap for the white
ninja. Then go around the square to get back our red and step on the next
arrow panel. Head left and run around the next square in either direction to
keep our red ninja. In the next area go around either square twice to retain
our red ninja. Then move on and pick up the second red ninja along the bottom
right path. Then head left and step on the arrow pad. Make your way to the top
right to find the third red program. Now that we have three red make your way
to the trap while avoiding other ninjas. For the next we need three blue
ninjas. Move on and make your way around four red ones without picking them up
and you should see a blue one. Ignore it for now, head to the top left area,
and step on an arrow panel to reach a blue mystery data which holds a RegUP2
powerup program. Then make your way right, step on and arrow panel, and pick
up the two red ninjas there. Continue right and then make your way back to the
blue ninja we ignored earlier. Pick up the other blue ninja and now you should
have two. Head left and go up to find a white ninja. Backtrack and head to the
bottom left past a red ninja. Go around the square three times so you'll leave
the red behind. Step on the arrow panel to the right and make your way down
past a red program to find a blue mystery data which holds a Slasher R
battlechip. Go around until you leave the red behind and head right. Follow
the bottom path to another white one. Swap for two whites and disarm the traps
above. Then pick up the two blue ones here. Backtrack to the other blue one.
You'll have to go back and forth a couple of times when passing red ninjas to
retain the two blue ones. Anyway after you get the blue ninja we left behind
make your way to the final trap to disarm it. There will be a boss fight after
passing the trap so be prepared. There'll be a cut scene after winning. When
we regain control we'll be back outside.

to be read on the SciLab BBS if you're interested. A woman on the stairs in
the Garg Castle has a Xfolder for you, if you don't mind your old one getting
erased. Head over to Oran Isle next and look for a man on one of the ledges
outside after riding the elevator up. Speak to him to buy the NebulaID key
item for 3000z. With the NebulaID we can open all those purple gates with the
skulls on the net. If you decide to open the gates, when in End Area4 you can
find a SerchMan battle image at the end of the area. Defeat it in battle and
your reward will be a SerchMan S battlechip.

Lan's house and speak with his mom to trigger another cut scene, during which
we'll receive the GowPic key item. When we regain control open your new email
which contains the CasPCode key item. Jack into Lan's PC and use the
GargoylCastle link. Then take the warp pad at the top and unlock the security
cube. Jack out and head to Oran. Go to the mine area and up the stairs leading
to the top. Speak to the old man there and then enter the cave through the
bottom entrance. Go up the first ramp to the left and jack into the speaker
on the ledge outside. Speak to the Navi in there to receive the OldPCode key
item which unlocks the security cube in SciLab3. So head there now. Unlock
the security cube and enter the warp pad behind it which takes us to the
OldTrmnlComp. Open the blue mystery data upon entering to receive a RegUP2
powerup program. Then continue straight ahead and enter the next warp pad
which takes us to an isolated area of ACDC Area2. Speak to the navi there
to receive the PastKey key item. Then jack out and head over to Oran. Make
your way down to DrilComp4 in the mine and jack into it. Make your way to the
end of the DrilComp and speak to the program there. Answer yes to him. Then
head past him and examine to the right of the control box to trigger a cut
scene. After the scene enter the door to trigger another one. after it speak
to everyone in the area to trigger another cut scene. When we regain control
we'll be in a battle against three viruses. After winning the battle there
will be another scene. Afterwards search the bamboo to the right to trigger
another scene. When we regain control we'll be back outside. Head over to
SciLab and jack into the SciLab HP from the backroom. Move along the HP to
trigger a cut scene. After the scene there will be three back to back battles
against viruses. After winning the three battles there will be another cut
scene. When we regain control read the new email to receive a RollSP R
battlechip. Then head to ACDC Town and speak to Higsby in his shop. When we
regain control jack into the net and head to End Area3 via the GargoyleComp
link on Lan's HP. Go to the building shaped control system and search behind
it to find the DataFile key item. Then jack out and speak with Higsby again to
trigger a cut scene. When we regain control we'll be in the backroom of
Higsby's shop. Search the middle computer to the right to find a HP Memry
powerup program. Then search behind the boxes to the right and jack into the
old PC there. Get the blue mystery data at the bottom left for a RegUP1 powerup
program and get the one at the top right for the SpinPink key item. There's
also a program in the middle who wants to trade with you. When you're ready to
continue head for End Area5. There will be a cut scene when you reach the door
to the Undernet. When we regain control we'll be back outside. Head home to
Lan's room and go to sleep.

up the second. Step on the arrow panel and go up again. Then move on and go
the next two flights of stairs. Step on the arrow panel and get the blue
mystery data to receive a SoutT+1 navicust program. Then make your way back
around to the other side of the arrow panel we just stepped on, but this time
head right. Continue on and you'll soon have a choice of going up or down. Go
down first and up then up the stairs to the left to find a mystery data which
holds a HP Memry powerup program. After getting it backtrack, go up this time
and enter Undernet2.

Ride on the arrow panels and then head left where we'll find a warp pad. Follow
the path to the left of the warp pad to find a blue mystery data which holds a
RegUP3 powerup program. The warp pad leads to a dead end so next take the path
above it. Keep heading to the right while making a few turns to reach another
warp pad. Step on this one and then take the left path to find a BBS with
eleven posts to read. After reading them continue to the left to find a purple
mystery data which holds a NeoVari V battlechip. Then speak to the BugFrag
Trader to the to the right of the mystery data if you want to trade for
anything. When you're ready to continue backtrack and step on the warp pad we
came from. Then follow the path to the right and step on the next warp pad.
Go up the stairs and continue on while ignoring any arrow panels you come
across and enter Undernet3.

Move forward and we'll have a choice of a right and left path. Take the left
path and step on the next five arrow panels. Open the blue mystery data for a
Attck+1 navicust program. The step on the next arrow panel and the on leading
up after that to find a warp pad and a NetDealer which is below it. Check out
the NetDealer and then step on the warp pad which takes us to the MessageComp.
Move forward a little and get the blue mystery data which holds a RegUP3
powerup program. Then step on the warp we just came from. Step on the next five
arrow panels to end up back at the beginning and this time take the right path.
Move on and you'll see a purple mystery data. You'll definitely want to get
this one since it contains a ExpMemry powerup program. Then make your way to
the top of this side to find a ProgramDealer. When your ready to continue make
your way to the left where we'll find stairs. Save before going up them because
there will be a cut scene followed by a boss fight. There will be another cut
scene after winning. When we regain control enter Undernet4 to start the next
liberation mission.

When we regain control we'll be in Lan's house and have just received the
Amulet key item. If you're interested there are six new posts on the Gargoyle
Castle BBS and four on the SciLab one. When you're ready to continue exit the
house to trigger a cut scene. When you regain control jack into the tree behind
Mayl's house. Go to the center of the TreeComp and examine the hidden server to
trigger a cut scene which is followed by a boss battle. After winning the
battle there will be a cut scene, after which we'll find ourselves back
outside. Read your new email. Then speak with Chaud in the back of Higsby's
shop. Next head over to SciLab. Enter the lab and jack into the terminal comp
to the left. Then make your way to the middle of the comp to trigger a boss
battle. After winning the battle we'll find ourselves back outside. Go to the
dock area and enter the Queen Bohemia. Go onto the ship's deck to trigger a
cut scene which is followed by a boss battle. After winning the battle there
will be a cut scene. When we regain control head over to End City. Enter the
castle and jack into the helmet comp. On the left side is a Navi who will give
you the AntiDmg navicust program for an AntiDmg F battlechip. Then go up to the
roof and jack into GargoylComp1. Make your way to the end of GargoylComp3 to
trigger a cut scene which is followed by a boss fight. There will be a cut
scene after winning the battle. When we regain control go down stairs and jack
into the GargCastleHP. Our destination is the end of Undernet4. On the way
there you may want to check out the UnderBBS in Undernet2 because it has three
new posts. Meddy battle image is at the end of Undernet3. The reward for
defeating her is a Meddy M battlechip. When you reach the end of Undernet4
you'll find a Nebula Server. Examine it to trigger a cut scene. When we regain
control we'll be outside Higsby's shop. Enter Lan's home to trigger another cut
scene during which we'll receive the DataDisk key item. Read your new email
after the scene. Then jack into Lan's comp. There are new posts to read on the
SciLab BBS and Yai's BBS. After reading them head for SciLab3. When you get
there just keep going straight up without turning until you have no choice but
to turn. Then continue up and examine above the mystery data to trigger a cut
scene. Afterwards enter the door to trigger another cut scene. After the scene
we'll have automatically jacked out. Jack back in and make your way back to the
Vision Burst we just came from. Examine the box next to the copy machine to
receive a RegUP1 powerup program. Then jack out and go to sleep.

After waking go and speak to Lan's mom. Then exit the house and head for
SciLab. Just outside Dr. Hikari's lab there will be a scientist who will give
you a RegUP2 powerup program if you speak to him. There's also a guy in the
room just before the backroom, who will overwrite your extra folder with a new
one if you want. Next head to End City and enter the castle. Make your way to
the outside balcony and speak to the man there to receive a HP Memry powerup
program. Then return to ACDC Town and speak to Chaud outside of Higsby's to
trigger a cut scene. When we regain control we'll be outside of Nebula's base.
Find the back door but don't enter it yet. First jack into the pipe to the left
of it. Get the blue mystery data at the bottom left to receive a HP Memry
powerup program. Then jack out and enter the back door to trigger another cut
scene. After the scene enter the door to the right to trigger another one.
After the scene go up the steps and jack into the machine our three team mates
are facing. Get the blue mystery data at the top right to receive the
DarkCirc R battlechip. Then jack out and continue on to the right to trigger
another cut scene.

When we regain control we'll be in FactoryComp1 with MagnetMan. As MagnetMan
move forward and follow the right path to it's end to trigger a cut scene.
After it step on the red button and switch to MegaMan. Move forward and step
on the arrow panels straight ahead. Then head a little ways right and examine
the blue mystery data for a M-Cannon F battlechip. Backtrack a little after
getting the chip and head left this time. Step on the blue switch and then
switch to MagnetMan. Step on the arrow panel, then head left and up at which
point we'll see MegaMan. Continue to the right and find the next red switch.
Step on the switch and switch back to MegaMan. Head right back to the middle
section and step on the newly accessible arrow panels. Then head to the bottom
left of this area to find a blue mystery data which holds a HP Memry powerup
program. Backtrack after getting it and head right this time. Step on the blue
switch and switch back to MagentMan. Move up and then head all the way around
to the top of the left side to find the last red switch. Step on it and then
switch to MegaMan. Head back to the middle. Before moving forward you should
save because after doing so there will be a boss fight. After winning the
battle there will be a cut scene. When we regain control we'll be back outside
as Lan. Speak to Tesla and move on until there's another cut scene, after
which we'll be in FactoryComp2 along with GyroMan.

Switch to GyroMan and follow the right path around to a dark cloud to trigger
a cut scene. After it step on the yellow switch and then switch to MegaMan.
Ride the arrow panel forward and ignore the next one leading forward for now.
Instead head left to find a blue switch and a blue mystery data. Examine the
mystery data for a RegUP3 powerup program and then step on the blue switch.
Switch back to GyroMan. Backtrack to his starting point and move forward and
then left to find a blue mystery data which contains the OilBody navicust
program. Move a little ways forward to find the next yellow switch. Step on
it and then switch to MegaMan. Backtrack to the arrow panels leading forward
we ignored earlier. Ride them forward and then the next ones as well. Notice
the yellow gate in front of us. We'll be heading past it soon but for n
